OvenSmash is a bold and successful pivot for the CookieRun franchise. Moving from a 2D runner to a 3D brawler could have been a disaster, but Devsisters nailed the feel of the combat. The Cookies move with a weight and snappiness that makes every hit feel impactful. GingerBrave feels familiar yet entirely new when he’s actually swinging for the fences in a 3D arena.
The character variety is the standout feature here. Every Cookie feels distinct, and learning the synergies between them provides a surprising amount of tactical depth for a mobile game. The match lengths are perfect—about 3 to 5 minutes—which keeps the energy high without becoming exhausting. It’s a colorful, chaotic, and incredibly polished entry into the arena brawler genre.

Soo frickin glitchy
Fri Apr 03 2026 ggjfhyvhfjgFirst of all, I love this game, from the different modes, character variations, and all of that. I’m new to the cookie franchise, so idk any of these characters, but I like how they play. However the only reason I gave a five star rating is because otherwise this would never be seen. Otherwise it would have gotten a 3.6/5. The main reason of this is because of how bad this game runs on mobile. Like dude EVERY TIME I LOAD INTO A MATCH, THERE IS ABOUT 50% CHANCE (I’m not exaggerating, in fact I’m being generous) that your game will crash. Often causing you to load into a game, crash said game, load back in, lose the game because u were afk, and in the long run, u wasted about 6 minutes of ur time. This happens about 50-70% of the time mind you. If it wasn’t for this, I would have gave 5 stars but this is an outrageous issue that I face every time I load into the game. Also, the game is a near copy of brawl stars, from us to modes, but that is not too big of a problem. Anyway, please be wary of glitchyness and buggy issues if you ever decide to try this game

Thu Mar 26 2026 FiresetnstarsI love this game so much even tho it just came out tho I already have a problem with it so idk why but I don’t load into matches very well so most of the time I have to reset my game to get back into the match which usually works but when I do get back into the match the ai that was playing for me won’t let me do anything now I understand why there is an ai because it is better than to just have an afk player but if I am able to get back into the match and play I shouldn’t have to be fighting the ai to be able to do anything it is just frustrating and not fun I really hope it gets fixed so if I press any button the ai stops so I can actually play instead of watch the ai kill itself over and over
High Hopes and the Realization of Reality
Thu Mar 26 2026 sussy_jussyi had so much high hopes for this game, especially since i have been playing and supporting devsister games ever since the cookie run kakao game. but now that the game came out, reality hit me hard as there were still MANY bugs even after closed beta, constant “loss of connection” and when i reopen the app the app has an ai playing for my character and i cant take back the control of the character, pay to win aspect of the game, too many buttons (overstimulating) in the main menu area, a gacha system without featured cookies (which leads to PURE luck for your desired cookie), and so much more to list. some aspects of the game feel HEAVILY inspired if not boarderline copied from brawl stars as the gingerbrave bots throwing purple juice bottle are suspiciously similar to a playable character named barely from brawl stars, even PRODUCING THE SAME SOUND EFFECTS WHEN JUICE BOTTES EXPLODE. some abilities (dashes) are straight copies from one cookie to another, class systems being confusing as chili pepper cookie shouldnt even be considered an “assassin” class and latte cookie being a mage class instead of bomber. i hope these post-beta that these major problems will be fixed. thank you for reading if you made it this far!

Mon Mar 30 2026 Luv_LatteThe game is fun, user friendly without too big of a skill gap, balanced characters, fast matches to play on the go. But my biggest gripe is the fact that the only title you can win in a match is MVP. Coming from someone who plays LOL and other similar games the fact that mvp is the only title is very annoying when other team members contribute valuable assists, game changing support, or even getting the turtle to the goal single handedly. These are just as important as getting mvp, which itself is unbalanced bc you can have more kills and less deaths and still not get mvp. Having other achievements that show up when a player meets certain requirements would be fun and a way to acknowledge other valuable contributions. When you do the most damage and then someone steals your kill you should be able to get an assist for that bc that’s teamwork. Something like what LOL does that highlights not just an overall mvp but supports or other roles you can play.
Needs work but I love the game
Sat Mar 28 2026 SashaWolf2012Personally so far I love the game. I understand since it’s new there are bugs, which will probably be fixed. However I wanna talk about adding stuff. Personally I liked the clans in kingdom, mostly how you can decorate them. I feel like clans would be nice. If theirs clans then possibly clan fights. Also having larger parties in case you wanna do wild royal against friends or 3v3’s against friends. I don’t enjoy how the game bots players that don’t load in or leave however. I play mostly with friends as of late. (Made them join me and now they like the game). I have a problem with requests too. Not everyone can get a party so easily and it takes up request slots. I have to plan with friends to get a party because no one joins me when I send party invites. It’d make sense if those quests either didn’t exist or couldn’t stack up.
The Best Cookie Run Game
Mon Mar 30 2026 OhMahSwirls!Out of every cookie run game, this is by far the best one. I’ve downloaded and played every single one, and I’ve been playing this game series since Ovenbreak’s fifth anniversary, and Kingdom’s first Christmas update. Yet, OvenSmash is the one I’d recommend the most. The gameplay is incredibly fun, and almost every character is useable - I’ve gotten MVP with every single character. There’s gameplay for everybody, and there’s a character that can fit anyone’s play styles. Like to stay behind and shoot? There’s a character. Like to charge ahead and tank? There’s a character. I cannot stress how amazing this game is; other than the quests needing you to play with 2 others, or the slight bugs here and there, this game is genuinely a gem.

I play CookieRun: Kingdom, and I found this game from CRK. at first, I was a little bit confused on what to do, but I loved playing in all the different game modes. The good thing about this game is that it doesn’t crash or kick you out constantly. I found that issue with cookie run kingdom. This game has wonderful gameplay and it also reminds me of brawl stars (but it’s a cute cookie remix!) I would recommend adding some of the characters from the cookie run kingdom world. (Shadow milk?) I do recommend downloading this game if you’re bored or have seen the other cookie run games! DevSisters, this is a really amazing game and I hope it continues to grow with wonderful players and has amazing updates! I’ll be there. ★★★★★ STAR RATING - ˊ★ 𝓼𝓸𝓭𝓪𝓻𝓲𝓻𝓲 💋
Not friendly to new people
Wed Mar 25 2026 SanakieeIn my personal opinion, I love the game. But I have zero combat skills, my team and I never win. The enemies my team plays against aren't going easy. I know they're bots, but I'm probably just making this review because I feel I should've read up on what the game was about before jumping in expecting to win because there's a tutorial. Maybe I'll play it when I get better at fighting, I'd rather just stick with non-combat games for now. Also, I'm wondering why the beginning rounds are so hard?? I know they're bots in the tut, but I'm still struggling with controls. I constantly feel like I have to plan out my every attack instead of feeling any entertainment at all. I still do like the game, yet I'm not familiar with the concepts.
