Sea of Conquest is a swashbuckling masterclass in pirate-themed strategy. Mastering the Broadside

In naval combat, positioning is everything. Don't sail directly toward the enemy. Instead, angle your ship so your side-cannons are facing them. This allows you to fire a 'Broadside' barrage, which deals significantly more damage than your front-facing chase guns.

Im going to start this with, if you want to have a fun and good experience you need to pick a good team. There are giants and there giants that are control hungry. Allies are this games best friend. It is a fun game, especially if you like to poke the bear. In order for you to have real fun, you really need to be on daily doing missions, or expect to shell out some $ to keep up and be able to have fun as most events have power and level requirements. If you have thick skin and can handle yourself through constant targeting and if you chose a good team that will back you, the fighting (war) will def be fun as well as you’ll breeze through missions. This game is not for everyone as it does take patience and time. If you are a strategist, patient, or just straight up love to fight, you will love this game☺️ btw the game is good at explaining game play and new additions so learning should be easy as long as you read what they send ya🤣(if it’s an option for you, join SRX we are a loving and kind team that will help you out lol)

I have been playing this game for almost 4 seasons now! I have to say, in the beginning I was a little unsure if I really liked the game or not! Once I found a good team to join, the rest is history!!! I have been with the same team since a week into season 1, we have become a literal family! We care about each other, we look out for each other and we help each other! It’s AMAZING FUN! I look forward to coming on everyday and having a great time chatting with and playing with awesome people from all over the world! Also what makes this game superior to others is that the developers really listen and care about the people who play the game! They have an outstanding Discord server! Where You can get quick answers to questions or you can put in your suggestions for ways to make the game better, and they really read them and implement them in updates! There is so much information on the discord channel, literally if you are looking for something, you will find it on there! They also have many fun events to win prizes and gift codes to get in game bonuses! Between the game and the discord channel I promise you will never be bored or run out of exciting things to do!!

I can go back and forth all day about how games like this are a cash grab but I genuinely enjoyed the art style and mechanics I hate season 2 with the introduction of ship building you don’t have guaranteed chance of a legendary ship understandable I guess but randomized skills is one of the dumbest things I heard of it’s hard enough to get a legendary ship as is and getting what you want is basically impossible which reinforces the idea of a cash grab game I would love a skill change system to be put in place or give players a chance to re-roll ship skills at the very least and trinkets shouldn’t be using the same currency as for hero’s it’s hard enough to get certain hero’s as is and upgrading them and now with the introduction of trinkets my enjoyment has gone down significantly not because of the trinkets themselves but the system put in place to acquire the trinkets it’s nearly impossible for free to play players to keep up if you don’t plan to spend money from the start you put in a position where your going to fall behind it’s not a matter of if it will happen it’s a matter of when it will happen I hope they can cater to more to free to play players but in my experience I don’t believe they will I love this game but the direction it’s going I just don’t feel like playing anymore

I just got the game. Just read the reviews. And it seems like they really listened I’ve gotten a bit load of the conchs to summon. I’ve got 3 legendary hero’s on my way to four. I’m very very active so I’m one of the top 25 players. This game isn’t about money it’s about activity, if you spend the time you’ll pass those who don’t. People complained about the time of upgrading things in flagship. I get so many time speed ups that I almost never have to wait. I just had to wait and as I play I gain more then go in and speed things up. Devs listen to the reviews and anyone who says it’s a money grab is wrong. Skill issue And strategy issue. Get better. But as for the gold issue I’ve read it still is high but I haven’t really figured out trading and for 5 bucks you can auto trade while offline which is a lot of gold while you literally don’t play. My only downside is I came from eureka so i could get paid for in game achievements and besitos can’t figure out how to get my app to track. So I got screwed outta 200$. SOC devs throw me some cash. I’ll hit flagship 13 tomorrow!!! Great game tho. Quite addicting

Not worth the cost

So my husband and I started playing this game together. He started in Jan Nd I started mid/end of Feb. we did put a bit of money in the game, as most games like this are somewhat pay to play if you want to meet any of the achievements. Well there was a “server merge event” that came up for Season 2. The other 2 servers they put us up against were older, and much bigger than ours. The “power teams” for the other 2 servers were substantially higher ranked levels than our server. We tried to grow the best way possible however to no avail, we just could not compete. Even though we were the 3rd largest group in the merged server, the power level was no comparison. Due to this our server was forced to either follow their rules, and not be able to meet our objectives, or continuously have our accounts attacked if we were not on 24/7 or pay hundreds of emeralds to “shield” our account. Essentially you had to pay to protect your account from being attacked. Not being able to evenly progress, without continuing to shell out loads of money, is very discouraging, ultimately causing many of my teammates to quit and ultimately my husband and I to quit. Had it been an even playing field .. it might have been fun, but paying to play a game you can’t win is not. :(

Bullies

Started on the right foot, but ended on a bad note. Lots of bullies in the game, one gang basically pushing others to quit their gangs by not allowing the other gangs to reach certain areas or milestones in the game to move on. They try to take over the whole map. It’s not a fair game. Money spenders also always come on top. Too many people spend lots of money on it for power. They get mad about everything and don’t let you play or actually enjoy the game. Shame. Needs stricter rules on gangs. Maybe more limits on ports or towers that each one can reach. S1 was good until we got bullies but I went with it because my gang were full of nice people but s2 had even bigger bullies when we merged with older players or older servers. Even less of a fair game because of the advance they had on newer servers being in the game longer and having more time to build power. This makes players lose desire to keep playing. Lots of other players quit as well during the time I was there due to this, as it caused frustration. On a positive note, the effects and graphics were fantastic. It was fun while I lasted.

I do not suggest downloading unless you plan on spending money. People in the reviews claiming that you do not have to spend, are flat out lying. The developers cater to paying players period. No matter how much time you play, you will not be able to compete with paying players. This is not an opinion, it is a fact. The game needs smaller players, in-order for the paying players to attack and advance. You are the smaller player. In my game right now, we are matched against player 3 times our size. There’s no chance of winning, in fact most of us have quit playing because not only is it a waste of time, but it’s simply not fun losing every single day. Imagine you and your gang spend days and weeks building up territory and capturing ports. It’s actually pretty fun. Until you catch the eye of a bigger gang. They will steal and take everything you have spent weeks building in just a few hours. You will watch from your device, and be helpless to do anything to stop it. I promise, it will be a sad time for you. The game itself is fun. There’s a lot of content and they do update regularly. However, if you are not prepared for the bullying and harassment, you will regret playing.

I like parts of this game but the parts I don’t like. There’s not enough to do. Everything comes in 5s. After you do it 5 times you are done until 24 hours is up. There is only So there is nothing to do after that for 24 hours. It won’t even let you level up because those 5s is how you level up. So there’s nothing to do after that but wait 24 hours. What kind of B S is that. I just need more to do and it looks like I will have to keep looking for a game I can at least level up in the slow time. You know like most games. Another thing I have a big problem with is that on one page it says to go out and do pirate things and no ship is off limits. So go conquer. But if you attack any ship that you don’t summon. You can’t make money any other way. your in trouble because apparently you’re not a pirate. You’re a worker that will get in trouble for doing what the game says to do. So they took a boat working game and they call it a pirate game but it’s not
