West Game II is a solid sequel that takes the 'Wild West' puzzle-strategy genre and gives it a significant polish. The game focuses on re-building a frontier town by solving environmental and spatial puzzles. It’s got a great 'grit and glory' atmosphere—the dust-kicking animations and the twangy guitar soundtrack really sell the Western theme. It feels like a mix of a city-builder and a logic puzzler.
The puzzle design is clever, often involving the manipulation of resources like water, timber, and gold to expand your settlement. The 'progressive challenge' mentioned in the description is real; by the time you're ten levels in, you have to really plan your moves to avoid running out of materials. It captures that feeling of surviving on the edge of the frontier. While it doesn't reinvent the wheel, the polish and the thematic consistency make it a very satisfying experience for fans of the genre. It's a great follow-up that fans of the original will love.
In-depth town-building with Western aesthetics
Over 100 challenging logic puzzles
Dynamic resource management system
Atmospheric Old West soundtrack
Competitive leaderboards for town growth
Start by establishing your Saloon and General Store. These hubs generate the coins needed to attempt new puzzle stages. When you enter a level, analyze the terrain first—look for shortcuts and hidden resource piles before you make your first move.
In the puzzle mode, you'll need to move obstacles and bridge gaps to allow your caravan to pass. Each move counts toward your final star rating. Use the 'Dynamite' power-up sparingly to clear large obstacles when you're stuck.
Not at all! West Game II features a brand new story and tutorial that makes it easy for newcomers to jump right in.
I’m enjoying it thus far. Gameplay is pretty fun and I haven’t had much issues with that so I gave it 5 stars. I will say - it would be nice to see a more diverse cast of characters though. Right now my avatar is a white Middle Ages man with a beard or goatee & the next closest one to me I think is an indigenous woman, of which I am neither. I’d like to see some heroes and avatars that people can pick and say yes this a good representation of me & not have to wait to unlock a feature that allows us to use our own picture. Just a thought. Otherwise, it’s a good game.
This game provides a remarkably refreshing experience, particularly due to its generous reward system. Unlike many titles that are stingy with player progress, this game ensures that the process of upgrading and leveling up feels inherently worthwhile. The core progression loop is highly satisfying, rewarding players consistently for achieving milestones. However, a key area for improvement lies in the acquisition of cosmetic items, such as skins, name frames, and march queues. Currently, these items appear to be exclusively winnable through the Arena system, which makes their acquisition overly restrictive. Players are limited to just five daily tickets for entry, and the optional use of gold to purchase additional attempts is highly punitive, as the cost doubles with each subsequent purchase. This singular pathway creates a frustrating bottleneck for those seeking customization. I recommend diversifying the methods of obtaining these items. Introducing difficult, long-term in-game challenges would allow dedicated players to earn permanent cosmetics. Alternatively, placing these items in the shop as permanent bundles would be a welcome change, ensuring that if players choose to spend money, the items do not expire after a limited time. Implementing these changes would dramatically improve the long-term player experience and engagement.
Well I have seen many advertisements for various games that ended up boring and wanting a lot of money upfront. Well this game has awesome graphics and no glitches so far. At the moment this time it is pretty fun and interesting. It does ask you to buy items early, but if you join an alliance we can get a lot of help. I have to play a little longer to see how it will turn out after the shield goes down after the 3-day protection.
Downloaded this by mistake, playing a different game and thought i skipped the ad for this west game ? Thinking o darn wasted time.. OK so now I’m 3 hours in and 3 of my 5 gangsters are smoking’em it’s kinda stupid fun.. thanks for the Gold to speed up and rank up quickly.
Everyone knows, or should know exactly what to expect. It’s basically the same game as I’ve played 10 other times before. But it’s done just a well, or better than any of the others. To the designers, please don’t overcrowd this game with a bunch of extras that doesn’t fit. Everything should be directly connected to my town, and should make sense. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
If you create an alliance and stop playing for more than 24hrs your alliance is automatically given to someone else and there’s nothing you can do to become the owner of what you created so for example if you were to buy diamonds then spend those diamonds to create an alliance and stop playing for 24hrs someone just gets your money/alliance for free so in technical terms the devs can steal money from you and give it to someone else. Dumbest rule I’ve ever seen.
W.G.1 was a great game until the devs got so money hungry it ruined it. Broke my heart to finally leave it. I hope this one will turn out to be as fun. I’m just starting. It’s good so far. I’ll update you after playing for longer then a few hours lol
I am really enjoying this game. I have had it about 24 hours now and it grabs my attention. Makes me want to play all the time. Graphics are great. If you spend money the packs are reasonable. Highly recommend
