[Optimizations]
1. Ancestral Trial: Complete interface design optimization.
2. Auto Battle: Added an option to prioritize searching for monsters by distance.
3. Rally Function: Rallies will now depart immediately once the required number of Troops is reached. Additional Troops can still join the march in progress.
[Bug Fixes]
1. Mall: Fixed an issue where bundle durations are displayed incorrectly.
2. Hero System: Fixed an issue where the insufficient items prompt would appear when no promotion items are available, after fully awakening a Hero or maxing out their codex.
Gave it 5 stars to let ppl know it’s nothing like their ads. I played before. And i’ve come to realize, any company that would falsify their ads so much from real game play, is controlled and desperate enough for actual players, cuz they cant create a game that ppl would really enjoy. and therefore not worth playing. I’m really sick of the algorithms that pressure companies (i feel strongly for them! In this toxic system). to advertise in any way possible to make a buck.l I don’t blame them, they could do such epic things if they weren’t over-ruled by “market metrics”and “hosting kickbacks (if they comply). I’m just sad that hosting and carriers have taken away the games that used to have given us real joy/ fun of accomplishment, and play, where we all helped each other and weren’t pitted against each other. The world is broken. I miss my gaming brothers and sisters. I want epic games where we used to be fore each other ;) my rant us done, peace ;)
FateWar delivers a surprisingly engaging mobile strategy experience with a vibrant art style and a strong roster of characters that kept me coming back for more. The combat mechanics are fun and easy to pick up, making even short play sessions feel satisfying. I especially enjoyed the character progression system, which offers plenty of depth without feeling overwhelming. That said, there were moments where matchmaking felt uneven, and some events leaned a bit too heavily on in-app purchases to stay competitive. Still, the overall gameplay loop was solid, and I found myself enjoying the journey enough to recommend the game to fans of tactical mobile titles.
I can’t wait to play this! But it doesn’t look like it will have a landscape mode. I hope im wrong. A strat game without landscape mode would be a huge letdown. I’ll revise this review once I can play it. Update after playing: this game is beautiful. Amazing art direction. But such a waste of talent on this game. There was so much potential, but this game is painful to play. It’s pretty terrible that you have to play in portrait mode. But even worse than that is the constant, and I mean CONSTANT bombardment of useless info about other random players. And the developers seem to think this info is so important that it actually renders on top of all other UI elements. I’m sorry to see such potential for a great game to be flushed down the toilet by poor UX decisions. At the end of the day, this game is a really beautiful version of all the other games that are really just about touching objects on screen that the UI tells you to touch. No thanks.
I played a number of games of the genre. Fate War seems to bring all of the best features of numerous games under one umbrella. The auto Hunt and auto gather features are great for players who have a job and can’t play all day long. There’s enough activity and things to do to occupy a little time each day. As with most of these games, you have to spend a little to stay on top. If you’re a freeloader, this might not be the game for you. If you respect the fact that these games cost money to develop and keep running, and you’re willing to contribute to the developers, it’s a lot of fun.
It's well done graphically and the music works. There's hardly anything unique about the game play. To me it's almost exactly the same as Kingshot. The reason for the 2 star review is that the pacing is terrible. Up until level 8 or so it progresses smoothly with little down time and it maintains interest in how the heroes will develop, ect. Then it just tanks. There's a chronic gold shortage, the infirmary is overloaded beyond hope. There are some enemies I haven't been able to work past. There are very few options for combat. It hits a brick wall and HARD! By contrast, I've progressed much further in Kingshot and I'm still having a lot fun. Sure, it has moments when things slow down a but, but they don't last long. I can play for 20 or 30 minutes and still remain engaged. Not so with this. Maybe 5 minutes tops at this point. Too bad because the player community seems supportive. I'm constantly getting “help” with buildings and upgrades. Like I said, the big thing that the pacing is just horrible after a few hours (10 maybe for me) of playing. Oh, and while the sound always dropped out on my iPad after a few minutes, it does within literally 5 seconds now. Kind of a deal breaker.
Another pay to win game with a wildly toxic chat and no way to report, only block. Update to reply to dev’s response: No, your game is pay to win, in order to ‘progress’ by gathering you’d have to spend so much time in game it becomes your life, no different than any other game like this. As for reporting toxic chat via email, are you serious? Every other input to chat was inappropriate and often posted by users with inappropriate usernames that should never have been allowed. There are ZERO filters. If I reported every inappropriate chat message I saw, I would be sending emails CONSTANTLY and it’s not my, or any other players, job , it is yours. Your game, your responsibility to look after it. Stop putting it on players to report, use some of the money the game makes to moderate chat and implement filters to stop the issues. What a LAZY reply, dev. Do better.
This game is really fun but NOT FOR KIDS DO NOT TRUST THE AGE RATING. The in game chat is very dirty and not monitored at all it seems. What ever you can think of and more is being talked about in the in game chats. Even things that can be desterbing to adults as well. They all talk very dirt and about very adult things and when you ask them not to people say just don't read it. I see people asking for it to stop all the time. I'm not one to care about most things but even I ask them to stop because it just gets that bad. This is a unfortunately a very normal thing in this game. Sad too because the game is really fun but till they do something about the chats I will not be giving this game a good rating. That or they need to change the age rating to 18+ but like I said some of the things that are said can be off-putting even for adults.
You would think another building/war game would be the same as any other, but not Fate War. There’s new mechanics and new features that consistently keep you busy. There’s a new way to keep your troops, events that will always keep you busy, and heroes that make a difference, depending on the type of troop and strategy you use. Although there are bundles, you can purchase to help you progress. The game, this game is very free to play friendly, giving generous rewards to those that participate in events. This game has a lot of potential and I do not see it dropping from the top spots anytime soon.
Angry Birds Bounce, Subnautica, and Zack Snyder's Bloodline feature in this month's line-up of the most notable new iOS and Android games.
