Missed out on a festive friend or a quirky cap from past events? Now's your chance! A variety of returning event animals and hats are available once again. Come and bring them home to your Sky Zoo!
Rodeo Stampede is a perfect blend of an endless runner and a management sim. The core mechanic of jumping from animal to animal in a high-speed stampede is incredibly fun and requires genuine skill to master. Each animal has its own 'personality' and movement style, which keeps the gameplay dynamic.
Then, you take those animals back to your 'Sky Zoo' to build habitats and attract visitors. It’s a brilliant loop: capture animals to grow your zoo, and grow your zoo to get upgrades for your next run. The blocky, voxel art style is clean and charming, making this one of the most polished and addictive casual games available.
Fast-paced endless riding and lassoing
Manage and expand your own Sky Zoo
Hundreds of exotic animals to capture
Vibrant voxel graphics and catchy music
Regular updates with new lands and creatures
Rare animals appear when you complete specific tasks or reach a certain distance. To tame them, stay on their back until the heart meter fills up. Be careful, as rare animals often have much more erratic bucking patterns than common ones.
Hold your finger on the screen to ride an animal and steer. Release to leap forward, and tap and hold again while in the air to lasso the next creature within your range. Avoid crashing into obstacles or staying on one animal too long.
If you ride an animal too long, it will get angry and try to buck you off. Some will run faster, while others might eat you or jump wildly!
I love this game so much! One of the reviews says that taming the volcanorilla was pretty hard, and I agree. It definitely took me a while, but to me that’s alright because the volcanorilla is a boss and bosses should be hard to tame! I also love how there is an endangered species thing once you get a bit farther into the Savanna biome. I like how each day, there is a new, really cool animal that you can search for and bring back to your zoo. (SPOILER: One of my favorite endangered animals is the volture, the electric vulture. I love it’s yellow aura and the small lightning bolts that come from it.) There is one thing that I don’t like. Sometimes I see a new animal while I’m riding a different animal. Normally what happens is that I either see it but its already behind me, I see it but I’m going to fast, or I can’t aim where to land that well. This happened to me when I saw Buff the Magic Dragon, and I like dragons and rainbows. ;( But this is all my fault, so I’m not blaming the game. The game even comes with stickers for the Messages app. The one that Apple comes with. I like texting with my friends, so I also like using these stickers to go with my messages. There are a lot of cool features in this game that I can’t even name them all. I think that the game in general is awesome! So if the developers of this game are reading this review, I just really want you guys to know what an amazing job you’ve done on this game! Thanks for reading my review! :D
Maybe you could add a desert with a rattlesnake, armadillo, coyote, falcon, Arabian oryx, the desert tortoise and the horned toad. The rattlesnake has to eat or it eats you. The armadillo gets faster and faster. The oryx throws you off eventually. The coyote will start to wobble around eventually. And the desert tortoise can smash through stuff. The falcon will start swooping up and down after enraged. The horned toad will start to hop up and down when mad. And maybe a cave with a bat, a salamander, the Mexican tetra, a rat, a mole, a cave hyena, and a cave bear. The Mexican tetra needs to repeatedly go in pools of water. Wait too long, the round ends. The rat gets faster and faster. The bat swoops up and down. The salamander will start to wobble around when mad. The mole digs into the ground and functions the same as a wombat. The cave hyena needs to eat, and the cave bear smashes through stuff. Maybe a swamp with a capybara, iguana, snapping turtle, egret, elk, copperhead, and the fishing cat. The egret will swoop up and down when mad. The copperhead eats other animals or you. The capybara will start to jump around like a buffalo when on it for too long .The iguana will start to wobble around when mad. The elk can smash through things. The snapping turtle throws you off eventually. And the fishing cat will get faster and faster. (And maybe a colorful world with a bunch of hybrids like the grolar bear.) I deeply apologize for the very long review. And by the way I think rodeo stampede is awesome. 6 stars.
Hi, I have an idea for a new map involving Norse mythology. The map could be called Asgard, Valhalla, or Midgard and would be in the Space Zoo. The first animal could be a golden boar, based on Gullinbursti, who pulls Frey’s chariot. The second animal could be a squirrel, based on Ratatoskr, who runs up and down Yggdrasil, the world tree. The third animal might be based on Fenrir, and the base animal could be a dire-wolf. The fourth animal could be a raven, based on Huginn and Muninn, Oden’s ravens. The fifth animal could be based on Sleipnir, Oden’s horse. The base animal could be “eight-legged horse,” or something along the lines of “octohorse.” The sixth animal might be based on Nidhogg, and could be called a “serpent dragon.” The seventh animal could be based on Jörmungandr, the Midgard Serpent, and could be called serpent, basilisk, or snake. And the eighth animal could be a kraken, who lurks in pools of water and needs water to stay happy, like turtles. The rocks could be piles of armor, symbolizing Ragnarok, and after 2000 km, the obstacles from the sky could be falling hammers, for Mjolnir. The equivalent to eggs and vases could be cornucopias. On the space zoo mini map (where Olympus is represented by a mountain), Asgard could be represented by a palace, with the platforms connected by rainbow bridges, symbolizing the Bifrost. There could be columns and marble chunks in the stampede, similar to Olympus. Thank you for making such a great game, and I hope to see a new map sometime in the future!
Edit: okay, so I’ve been plinking around in here waiting until my refund came thru, but THAT was a mistake because I fell wayyyy in love with this game all over again, and I just skip every ad I have the option to. I wish there was a way to permanently remove all ads for a sum though.. I absolutely love it when devs do that for their players. BUT if this isn’t that kind of app then I guess I have to be okay with it because this game is such a blast. I just caught a rare lion with wings that has been evading me for days now, and he is so D O P E!! It’s such a good feeling when you finally lasso, ride and tame that rare, evasive catch that’s deep into your run! Original post: This seemed like such a fun app, and I actually wrote a nice 5-star review! Now I’m having an issue that’s causing me to give up and quit. I could have sworn somewhere in-game I read something about how any purchase would permanently remove the ads for me, so I made a couple purchases, but I kept seeing ads. Got out of the game, rebooted my phone, still ads 😢 decided to update the game and now there’s a new purchase for a couple dollars where the ads get removed but only partially? I enjoy apps that fully remove ads when you show the devs some love and give them your freaking money ☹️come on… feeling super cheated and awful and I don’t want to play anymore.. So bummed out.
People who say oh my God there’s too much ads in this game are lying it’s really your fault if you got ads if you play 10 times in the game finally decides to give you ads after which is how it works really and it’s only 10 times in a row for one ad and that’s it so it looks like me when you revive all the time which I don’t even care about which is one ad per run but I don’t care it’s a really really fun game and anybody who says I don’t like it because of how much ads there is then you have to buy at least three times the amount of ads I do for me or you to careAbout how much tell me a real thing I don’t like about it is it’s a little different than the first trailer you could say but I don’t have the iOS update so that’s probably yet anyways have fun you guys really great game please play edit:btw if you see that girl who says stressful to tame volcanorilla she’s not that far off from the truth it’s just how she explains it is a little wrong I mean come on I got it on my 10th try it’s not that hard lady it might sound rude my response to that but come on if you actually seen it it’s really not that hard like me it’s just how she explains it to be “dramatic” anyways happy developers or people or whatever read this! :D
The problem is over-monetization. Theres too many things you have to spend money on. I’ve been playing since the mountains update, I remember downloading the Outback. The game is fantastic when actually playing it.. but you’re not playing it anymore. The ocean is extremely limited and impossible to make progress in because of being unable to run infinitely. You get most animals through menus, ads, and paying for the dreamy trips. The PVP is empty, I’ve never seen a single person do the posse, and half the menus seem useless. The game needs to be cleaned up, and a few features removed. Right now, there’s too much and with so many options to spend money, it feels like the game is begging for it, making me not want to spend. I had spent quite a bit of money on the game before these updates, but I no longer want to give it any due to the sheer amount of microtransactions. New currencies cost real money, subscriptions cost money, new animals cost money, and if it doesn’t, it costs ads. I think the game could make a lot more money by cutting down on the menus, ads, and microtransactions. To limit the negativity of the review, I want to propose a new area. Event Avenue. It’s the anniversary area, open for the whole month. The entire gimmick is that all the even animals from the past years are available. No extra money needing to be spent, you just have to play the game like normal. Ride the animals, and catch up to any event animals you didn’t have. Maybe even have 3 variants for each zoo.
I recently wanted to come back to this game and wondered why I stopped playing it awhile back. It didn’t take long for me to understand why I stopped. Ads. Look I understand developers need to get paid and ads are the best way. When this game was first released, it had a big following and it was because of how amazingly fun and addicting the gameplay is and still is. It had little to no payment features so the grind was the only way to improve with a few ad watches the player could help their improvements in little ways. Now there are a few payment features which are fine, I see no problem with them and the developers deserve to get payed for this amazing game. The annoying part is now everytime I die I get a 30 sec ad then another 5 sec promo card until I can race in the savannah again. This makes the game unplayable sometimes my runs last 10 seconds and now have a huge ad I’m forced to watch. Other times it’s a good long run where I get to 8,000 meters. Either way I immediately want to click retry and run again, but now wait I can’t have to watch an ad. It’s basically unplayable. Would fortnite be as big if everytime you died you had to watch a random ad before u played again? No. It makes u want to turn of the game. Otherwise if this over abundance of ads was gone this would be a five star game one of the best in the AppStore. I hope someone reads this.
Okay, so you have mythical, prehistoric time, garden, and great wall. Alright i was thinking an ocean area, limited time area that costs 500k coins, when you buy it you get to keep forever, it will have 10 animals. The 2 basic ones will be a fish, the fish variants (as in types of that soecies) will be different species of salt water fish, the other will be a octopus, one that swims up and down like the zebras jumping in the safari, the speedy one will be the dolphin, variants will be different dolphin species. The predator will be the shark, depending on the species of shark of the variants, there different sizes. The heavy will be the whale, like elephants. Charge and smash everything, but slightly slower since there massive animals. Ram will be the sea turtle, there tough shells can only smash threw reefs, not the rocks. Now flying (high swimming) will be the mantaray, when they get angry, they go faster and move down slowly but go up fast. The slacker like alligators, that wait for prey but wont attack. Will be the eel, last creature. Will be the squid, they can only be found beyond 2000, large like the whale but not as large. The entire area will be 500k coins, not actual money, the area will be limited time, only have 4 weeks to get it.
