Dinsun Expert Review

Our Expert Score

92/100

Hungry Shark World is bigger, badder, and toothier than its predecessor. The sense of scale is fantastic—starting as a small shark eating tiny fish and eventually growing into a Megalodon that can take down helicopters is a hilarious and satisfying progression.

The global locations like the Arabian Sea and Arctic Ocean are beautifully detailed and filled with secrets. It’s an arcade power-fantasy at its best. The controls are smooth, the missions are varied, and the constant stream of new sharks and gear to unlock keeps the gameplay loop fresh for a long time.

NICE GAME but one issue

I would suggest to but this game when you want ITS SO GOOD! One thing I like about it is that it balances the stronger sharks compared to the weaker ones like the upgrades(except for things to smash and eat) another thing I like is that you keep on adding many things to the game and new sharks so when you complete it after a bit it will come again. Lastly the events HELP A-LOT aid your just starting or have played the game only for 2 weeks or something if you are big it’s mostly just for fun and you get way bigger scores. But I do have one Problem sometimes when I’m in places where I die and I decide to revive myself there’s barely any food so maybe when you revive all the fish (food) respawn to their original position, because right now I’m spending a lot of gems or watching ads and there’s no food so please make a update about that. Anyway this game deserves a 5 star and the game is extremely good anyway that’s all for my review👍👍👍👍🙂🙂🙂🙂🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃😄🙃😄🙃😄😄😄🙃😄🙃😑😄😄😄🙃😄😄😄😄🙃😄🙃😄😄😄🙃😄😄🙃😱😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙃🙂🙂🙂🙃🙂🙃🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪p.s if you’re still reading this there is one more flaw for some devices (not me but some other people)where the screen turns black and you have to close the tab meaning you lost your score and all the coins you collected. And that’s achally the end of the review

Is it better than it’s predecessor??

I loved the first game, but didn’t know about the second one! So, I decided to get it and let’s just say that my initial view of the game isn’t all that great. The controls are the worst part for me. The sensitivity is so high, and to try and see where I’m going and what fish I'm eating is very difficult sometimes. However, it looks great! I love the style of it, it’s a very cute animation style, ironically. That was one thing about the first game I liked, was that the elongated and more rotund features added so much character it stood out from other games similar to it. I love that they added a cute little clapping animation when leveling up, and the intro animation is very cute as well. I’m such a massive fan of the no-depth feature, too. That’s a huge problem in the first game, is that the depth was incredibly hard to deal with because you had to wait until like eight different sharks before getting just a 100m depth upgrade. I’m glad there’s no depth here. Now, the camera is also an issue…I found myself with strained eyes often because of how quick the shark moves sometimes, and there was so much going on I could hardly keep track of it. Not too much a fan of the character design of the people either…and I think your water effects on the surface were much stronger in the first game. Overall though, I’m very satisfied with it…these games are one of the better mobile games out there and are very addicting to play. I’d totally recommend either of them!!

Awesome game, but

I just read these reviews, and it’s not accurate. The reason they write negative things is because they don’t read the descriptions. I think the game is totally fine and good. One question. Why does sometimes my prey turn gold when it was not gold at first before I nearly eat it all? It happens when I eat whale, orcas, and sometimes other big sharks such as whale sharks. I think the people who yell “Shark!” when they see a Killer Whale is weird. Or the Big Momma and Mr. Snappy. They are really not sharks. And one thing that bothers me, that it takes FOREVER the unlock the !! sharks. I have the Atomic shark, the Megelodon, and Big Momma. When I use the Big Momma, it has the Percentage bar, but it barely moves even though I level up. And also can you make the tournament prizes in the 2% a little less worth? Right now there is a contest the eat the most jellyfish with the Atomic shark. I’m REALLY stressed out about getting that Robo Shark in the 2% and I’m only in the 8%. I keep on trying but it never works. Also, sometimes the tunnels are too small so my Big Momma got stuck in the swimming pool vent because it was too big and I died. Another question. Can anything eat the giant jellyfish in South China Sea? I know this is a long essay, but please fix the tunnel issues. Thank you and keep going! Ok, I have a second thought about the Killer Whale. IT IS TINY! I mean it looks big in the picture, more bigger than Big Momma, but is it actually really tiny. Please make it bigger.

Sink Your Teeth into This Amazing Game!!

How do I begin? There’s so many things that make me love this masterpiece of a mobile game. From the unique animations and art style, the high quality graphics, to the variety of sharks at your disposal (including the diversity of your prey), this game makes the experience amazing for you to play. The controls are simple for more casual and/or new players to understand, yet still allow you to feel in control of your shark, whether it be the tiny Blacktip to the massive Kiryu, uh, I mean, Robo-Shark. Each one has their own unique looks and personality expressed through their animations such as being a classic ol’ goofball to the über serious tough guy. The graphics are one of the most eye catching graphics of any iOS games. SERIOUSLY!! LOOK AT THE SKIN OF THE MEGALODON!! HE HAS DENTICLES!! Sorry, bit of an overreaction on my part. Anyways, those same sharks can be upgraded to make them a better predator of the seas. You can also put outfits and gadgets on them for small bonuses or just for looks. Not to mention that the menus are also easy to use but can get confusing. Now to my main gripes of this game. The graphics while still very good for mobile standards, are very dumbed down from previous versions. The blood was also toned down a bit. I get how this game is supposed to be family friendly but you already have a no blood option. Maybe have a slider for different blood settings. There are also some bugs in this game as expected. Some may not be as apparent as others so you might not see them as easily as others. Other than that, this a game worth getting.

Addicting

I have been playing this game for about a week and all I can say is it is very, very addicting. The graphics are amazing for a free App Store game. It can glitch and get too ahead of itself but I understand that is going to come with a game like this. I love this game but I can say there are definitely some things I find rather annoying about it and that’s why I give it four stars instead of five. It gets frustrating how quickly you begin to ‘starve’ and run out of life. Obviously when you are on an eating spree to keep yourself alive, you run out of things to eat quickly and you lose so much life in the process of searching for more fish. And I don’t feel like there is as much ocean space as there should be so it gets too familiar too fast. It takes forever to unlock the other ocean areas but the sharks unlock rather fast. As well as most of the challenges and goals, some are almost unrealistic and can seem like it will take forever to achieve. I do get the game is supposed to be challenging and keep you coming back but certain things sort of conflict in areas of the game and that makes it obvious that they just want you to spend money. But one thing I do find to be sad but so accurate about this game is how easily you mistake the garbage floating in the ocean for fish. That is something that is talked about in real life, how the animals mistake plastic and garbage in the ocean for fish and get very sick from it. It is devastating but I am glad that they included that in this game to almost remind us what we are doing to our oceans. Overall this is a great game and I do recommend downloading.

Best Game Of all time

By far this is the best game I have ever played ! I love all the skins worlds and In my opinion there is nothing wrong with the game !!! I have been playing for about 2 weeks now and it has not gotten old the gem fish are fun to look around for and the sharks look awesome ! My favorite shark is the dark magic shark it is so cool and I just got him!!! Also Evolution is a amazing game too and the sharks look so real but so fake at the same time that’s really cool. Thank you for the free mako shark in world and he has the coolest skin ever the vamp is very fast and deadly. Also the games have been so fun and maybe one day you can release a new hungry shark game with all sharks and maybe a couple of new sharks. I think you should make a flying shark that can breathe all sorts of stuff like water ice fire etc. Good job on the game and I can’t wait for the next update !!! Also I had another idea you should make a bomb shark that has a bomb for a head and eats bombs and fires them at people and helicopters when on the jet pack and it would be so cool to see my idea in the game and also I think a new map is a cool idea maybe it could be on other planets like mars and the moon that would be cool but I think the dark magic shark or baldr should have warp powers like in hungry shark evolution thank you for reading and keep up the good work. also try to put hungry shark heroes in the App Store

I love this game, have a strange idea
Mon Jun 07 2021 Mr.Illumino

I love this game a lot, I love all the hungry games in fact. I have hungry shark world, evolution, and dragon. This is just my imagination going crazy, (I do this for a lot of games). I have an idea for a new ocean for players that have the megalodon and beyond. This new area would be the Bermuda Triangle. And it would come with all its wacky conspiracies too. Their would be UFOs in the skies, dinosaurs on the islands and in the water (Maybe have cows on land be abducted). Many different sea monster to fight (Such as the king crab and kraken). And other cool extinct animals such as the dodo bird. One last idea I have that’s “ Out there” would be a rock you could find deep in this ocean. It would be very hard to get to and look sort of plastic, if you break the rock there would be a sewer lid. You could travel inside to find the home base of the Illuminati, there would tunnels of water under their land tunnels with openings every once in a while. There would be cultist shooting magic fireballs at you. If you make it to the end of the base you would find the cultist summoning a giant green demon from a red portal, it would have four arms and wings. It would be green, have red eyes, and a black eye imprint on its forehead. For those of you who are still reading this thank you, hoped you enjoyed my imagination.

Great game but just one little thing needs to be added
Wed Mar 30 2022 SpringTrap15

This game is awesome but the sharks are to expensive tho, can you make them cheaper pls so I can get them all quicker. Also I have a new idea for a new shark, maybe you can make a shark that’s old and ancient and has been around since the ages of the dinosaurs and it will be called “Ancient Ultron” with the powers to slow down time and as it eats it will have the power to freeze time and this will only last for 30 seconds and have a 1 minute recharge and it should be in a new category of the sharks kinda like your apex but be called “The Age of Ancient’s”. For the design of the shark maybe you can make it have many scars, have a old, Ancient look and it will have a blue/Diamond like eyes and it’s fins will have vines and leafs on it and part of its body will go from past to present look as you play and it will go back and forth after playing 5 minutes of the game and when it dies it will explode and have a “travel back in time and go back” feature can you please make this shark and the level of it will be level 35 and the way to get it you will have to go to this map that goes back in time and it will have ancient fossils and it’s kinda like the Extinction so do you think you can make this?, pls make it please.
