issues with the ads and challenges

i’m obsessed with this game. play it all the time. rider worlds itself is a five star game. that being said, there is a HUGE issue with the ads on this game. it has happened multiple times where (for example) i use a video ad to revive myself because i was getting a high score and wanted to increase it. but unfortunately, when the ad finished, the “x” button did not work and i wasn’t able to click it. leaving me with no choice but to reset the app, which took away my new high score i had earned. this happened LOT’S of times and has affected things like challenge progress and scores. it’s so annoying as someone who plays this game so often. i really hope you can fix this bug because it has taken so much of my progress away. along with this, there’s an issue with the challenges. many many times i have completed the challenges and beyond and it doesn’t give me credit for them. it just gets frustrating. thank you

Terrible performance issues

So like many other people I have loved playing the original rider for years and was super hyped when I heard a sequel came out. It’s a fun game, I do like the the updated quests along with all the customization of your vehicle, but the insane lag spikes make it unplayable. Almost every time I am about to land from a flip I will get a huge lag spike and my whole game freezes up, when it unfreezes I’m already dead. This has happened countless times and it makes doing the quests impossible. I am playing on a pretty low end device but still I have never had this problem on any other mobile game even it has very high graphics. I assume why it happens is the game is loading in obstacles as you are going through them and every time it loads up one I get a big lag spike. It’s especially bad on the gravity world I assume because those obstacles are very complicated. The game also has lots of other bugs and issues like when I watch an ad and it just doesn’t count, and then when I try to watch another it says I have no internet connection even though I have full bars. Along with how slowing down practically breaks the game, if you aren’t going full speed on one of the launcher things you will go backwards in the air for some reason so you can get a solid 40/50 score from one before the game realizes your cheating and you have to keep going. Anyway I understand this game is still in beta but please fix the terrible lag spikes that make it unplayable.

The almost successor to the original

I grew up playing the original rider game and I can safely say I highly enjoy this sequel. Each world is creative and has an exciting twist and I thoroughly enjoy playing the game; it’s definitely my second favorite game. My only problems are it’s a little buggy at some points which can screw up my score, but they have seemingly been working on that. The other problem is that I find it increasingly difficult to upgrade and earn new cars, paint, etc. I get that there’d be no fun in the lack of a challenge, but it’s no fun to sit through multiple ads just to get extra points that count towards barely a reward. You can do a mini game to earn points for 30 seconds, and the next 30 seconds to a minute, you’re waiting through an ad that will grant you a small amount of parts that count towards upgrades. It’s tedious and takes the fun out of earning new cosmetics. In addition, there was a recent update that resets the amount of coins you have if you don’t use all of them since you need to have at least 10 coins each time you spin a wheel to get parts. So if you have 5 coins left over, those coins get reset whenever the wheel changes the reward. Worst. Update. Ever. I still enjoy the game for what it is though.

Great game

I’ve been playing for a week, and I’ll start off with the most critical part of the review; Worlds is easier than base Rider. If you can easily pass every Rider level, this game most likely isn’t going to replace it, since it is fundamentally easier, however I believe that can actually be interpreted as a good thing since a large majority of Worlds’ ease come from the overall lack of glitches, the game is extremely polished from my experience, there were a few levels were the objectives weren’t as clear as I’d hope, but they aren’t impossible to understand. In base Rider I had several occasions when I’d fly off the screen or end up in situations where it seemed out of my control. Worlds doesn’t have nearly as bad of a problem. Also the ease makes it a much nicer pick up and play. I have already beaten my high score from the original after about a week. The level designs allow for more tricks, and even allow a 6 loop flip quite early without glitches, which I am unsure is possible in the original game. Overall, base Rider is harder, but Worlds gave me a more fun experience.

Simple, Yet Challenging and Engaging

Definitely one of my favorite games. I’m a grown man, and for the most part, I try not to waste my life and money on apps and games, but it’s nice to have a few good ones to fill the spaces in between the more important things when I’m not in the mood to be “productive.” This is one of the good ones. I did shell out a few bucks to avoid getting ads every couple minutes, and I think it was worth the additional entertainment value I get from the game. So, there is just one control, that causes you to either accelerate or flip, depending on whether you are on the track or in the air. The entire game is centered around the interest of the tracks and your ability to finesse your speed and flips to stay alive. The tracks are indeed very interesting, and I enjoy the challenges and nuances found in the different worlds. Lot’s of fun upgrades for your vehicles and neat challenges and mini games to keep things interesting. The folks at Chimpworks have done a great job here.

New game mode pleaseeee

I think the game is incredibly good and I enjoy having the trill and challenge to earn all the vehicles rarity and style but if there’s a few things I would add it would be to be able to have nicknames (it’s kinda boring when I look at the leaderboard after an event and just see some random name) and I would LOVE if the developers added a survival game mode where all you have to do is see how long you can survive, how high can you get your score,etc. I’d really leave it up to ya’ll to figure out a fun survival game mode where you don’t need to focus on some challenges and can just have fun doing tricked and testing your skills, you can add a chase mode… like, where there’s a clone of your car that copies your movement… or add a race mode, a sandbox mode, you know… the good stuff! But overall the game is a peak indie game to just have fun on roed trips, camping, or just challenging your friends to see who can get the highest score! Love this game, highly recommend it, and keep up the good work devs!😉

64 more stars?!?!

Soo, great game… so good in fact that I completely finished every single quest and was disappointed to find that I didn’t have every upgrade maxed out. I only had a few legendary upgrades for each category. Even though I have almost definitely watched every ad to add extra “shards” for the upgrades and for doubling the red gem currency, I came 64 stars short from the max level. This is a big bummer because it means the best choice for me now is to get the white crystals from the BONUS every day, and I assume it will probably take at least another year or so. My plea for the creators is this, give us more quests that are unlockable after the beginning 150 that are solely for the purpose of upgrading the vehicles and so forth. I know this probably isn’t what you want to see from a review so I will try to end it on a happier note. Great game with amazing graphics and different worlds that unlock new features into the game. Fun and Addicting, Has some glaring issues

I really enjoy this game, i enjoy the customization. I enjoy the gameplay, i enjoy the side modes. There are many issues though. First of all, it takes WAY too long to get anything cool, i’ve put in more time than i can count and still don’t have the 4th world unlocked. It’s practically impossible to level up too when the game doesn’t log your progression on challenges a MAJORITY of the time. It’s incredibly irritating. Secondly, the fact that this game is broken is incredibly frustrating. I’m on IPhone 14 and this game can still barely run sometimes. Half the time it CHUGS. And then as soon as it starts to become smooth, the game freezes a few frames and you die. It’s a game where you need every second to adjust, but you just can’t. And finally another issue is with some of those master challenges. You literally can’t do them sometimes because the physics are so broken . I enjoy the game, but it needs work. Work on progression, work on the optimization, and physics work. I hope it gets it.
