Bug fixes and performance improvements
CATS (Crash Arena Turbo Stars) is a masterclass in 'asynchronous' PvP. The genius lies in the engineering phase: you spend your time meticulously placing rockets, drills, and boosters on a wooden chassis, only to hit 'Play' and watch the chaos unfold automatically. You don't control the car during the fight; you control the design, and that makes victory feel like a triumph of intellect over brute force.
The progression is snappy, the cat characters are hilarious, and the 'City Kings' gang wars add a layer of social strategy that keeps you coming back. It’s fast, frantic, and surprisingly deep for a game about cats in tanks.
Master Engineer: Design and craft the ultimate war machine
Fast-paced PvP: Short, 10-second battles against real players
Wacky Weapons: Unlock chainsaws, rockets, stinger drills, and more
City Kings: Join clans and battle for city territory
Regular Events: Seasonal challenges and unique rewards
Stunning Art Style: High-quality animations from ZeptoLab
When building, pay attention to your car's center of gravity. A top-heavy bot with huge rockets will likely flip over backward. Place heavy wheels or lower-tier body parts to keep your bot grounded during the initial collision.
Use the betting feature to win powerful upgrades. Watch other players' battles and predict the winner to earn bonuses for your own parts. It's a great way to learn which builds are currently dominating the meta.
No, the battles are fully automated. Your success depends entirely on how you engineered and equipped your bot before the fight.
This is my favorite game, and I don’t even know where to start! First, this is a game that it takes a lot of playing to get bored of. There are basically infinite possibilities in a machine, it would be impossible to get every combination, added in that you can have three machines. Second, like any free game, there are ads, and I don’t think that they are horrible, like a lot of the other reviews. And if you want to, you can spend the TWO dollars it costs to remove them. And of course, there are in app purchases, and if you want to, you can spend money to advance faster. And one of the best things is that because of the instant promotions, if there is someone who spends a lot of money, they can instant promote out of the championship they are in so that they don’t keep people from advancing! On top of that, the developers are very on top of nerfing things that are too powerful. For example, there is a gadget called the tranquilizer gun that shoots a dart that can stun an enemy machine, unless destroyed before it hits. The stun time used to be really long, and they could stack. But now, they can’t stack, and the stun time had been reduced. Finally, having something that does a ton of damage doesn’t mean that it is the best, the physics is a huge roll too. All of the gadgets and weapons each have different purposes. So if there is a machine you just can’t beat, find a way to use the physics to your advantage! Anyways, that is all I have to say. Oh. One more thing, the gangs are amazing thing, and it is a great pleasure to be in a good gang. Peace out y’all! ✌️😄
I have been playing the game for more than a year. I am the leader of a gang and have seen a few things I would like to see in the gang. A rank for gang members Offers, members, and recruits. The new recruits that come in and don’t know how to play in a game yet burn up scouts and replaces. I don’t feel that recruits should be able to use scouts and or replaces. Recruits should not be able to use any of the tools to the city of kings only the tolls that is used on them self till the leader feels they have proven them selves a worthy member. Members should have more access to the tools in the city of kings. Officers should have control to demote players or kick players for breaking the rules. There should be a place to go that the leader can post the rules of the gang so the recruits can see them. As it is now we have to retype the rules every time some one joins the gang. I would like to see a instant message system so you can talk to some member with out talking to all members. Also there needs to be a way so that we can see what members are online, like in the championship this would make things easier to know how to plan attacks. And the last thing the chat log roll is too short. Right now you can leave a msg for people to see, if people start chatting that message will get lost. Than you for your time, battle on dudes
So when I was younger I got so many games and I only played 2. Then when I was older I deleted those games but then I came across this game. It was a game that wasn't for toddlers. So I played it and got addicted. I got all the way to prestige 4. Then I showed my mom. She liked it too. We played and played then one thing stopped me from playing 24 7: school. Eventually, my mom beat me and then I made a gang called frogfoxduck. The very next day there was no more room for other people. I started to kick players that don't play. Then there was another bad thing. Ultimate parts. I HATE them. The ordinary playing is just screwed up. I would play until I had no tickets left then I went to get more then I would get carried away and the tickets would burn. What a waist. I started beating stages instead of doing ultimate parts. Then I figured out how to get ultimate parts. Then hot wheels came out and saved me from my losing streak. Then came city kings. This is the real reason I kicked almost all of the people in my gang. They have made ultimate parts so big of a deal and my shark car and green car dragged me through it. You make it so hard to level up your ultimate parts. Thanks to me getting jealous of my mom and getting my own gang I can actually play and be good at ultimate parts but there is one more thing. Why can't you fuse your crappy parts with actually good parts! That is all I want to say. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this. Thank you
This game was a core memory for my childhood and I always found myself fascinated by the concept of the world building. I know it’s nothing too crazy but the idea of cats building cardboard boxes of mass destruction for some televised demolition derby is so accurate to cats personalities. I love the gangs and characters, they have nostalgic qualities. This is one of the few games that actually makes it a decent challenge to progress as well. Tedious designs and endless combinations to win and get better parts. It’s not a pay to win/play game it’s just honest with itself. One thing that would make it that much more awesome would be to control the rig itself. Moving forward or backwards and having buttons to activate boosters and other utilities. Buying parts from some sort of market would be cool, or bartering with other players using rare parts could be a neat thing. Putting in an engineering system where you can configure the placement of the weapon and utility attachments on the bodies is a lacking necessity to me. Maybe even the ability to design your own body shapes and weapons might be fun too, so long as it’s within the realm of logic. It would make it so much more immersive and enhance that feeling of being an underdog cat who breaks into the TV arena gig and has to climb the latter with the help of his toothpick gnawing uncle Tony. It’s safe to say this game is just entertaining and challenging in its own rights. New gameplay features would solidify this app as a totally classic to me. Well done. I’d love to see it grow!
Cats has problems on every level. I want to first say I liked the original idea, it was fun but the way the game is built around it’s base ideas ruins it. To start the actual gameplay is completely random, you have no control of your vehicle thus no way to affect the outcome of any battle. You have no control on what parts you receive, on top of that you have to wait a minimum of 3 hours to open even the most basic boxes. Assembling a vehicle is limiting not only in this way, but they also have power limitations so you can’t use any of the cool weapons and equipment you dump thousands into. While progressing you’ll unlock new tiers of gear and entirely new materials. I just wish the loot boxes gave me the gear level I need. Out of all the junk items you might just get lucky enough to find 1 slight upgrade. If it’s power requirement isn’t too high keeping you from using it. Finally the ads, I spent just about the same amount of time watching ads as actually fighting. After every. single. battle you get an ad, after leaving the upgrade screen even if I didn’t do anything, I get an ad. The only exception was the championship, I didn’t get em between fights but always at the end. All of this is obviously here for a reason, they gotta make money somehow. It’s not “pay to win” but “pay to progress at a reasonable rate.” You should've just charged a few bucks upfront leaving out the artificial progression. This could’ve been up there with BTD.
Around two years back, I really enjoyed this game. But, I feel all these updates are unbalancing the game. As for the ultimate league, I never found it much fun, but the vehicle changes completely unbalanced all the exclusive bodies, such as the bone shaker now being less useful compared to the Paws Rover (especially since it’s really hard to upgrade). As for the normal aspects of the game, all the forced ads are really frustrating and makes it so that if you don’t spend money on the game, you will waste up to 10% of your time on ads. All the pop-ups for shop deals are definitely not necessary, as well as the video ads. I understand you want to promote third party ads and advertise to sell more, but the fashion in which the forced ads appear is unnecessary and interruptive, seeing as they are “forced” and too plentiful. What Should You Do? For simple thoughts, you should make a way to exchange skill points (that you get every promotion) for a box, gems, gold, etc. I am in prestige 28 and have over 400 extra with every upgrade maxed, and I missed the one sale for it that barely lasted two days. Also, I have seen lots of friends have trouble with the first 3 prestiges. Lifters are a very strong utility, and most new players have problems countering it. You should work on balancing the game with smaller changes, not adding items that are unbalanced. The tranquilizer gun is a great example of this, it is way too strong and is basically an instant win. The updates make all the previously good items less useful.
Well first of all the game is perfectly fine! No bugs, nothing is laggy, no glitches, it’s amazing! But from the title you see ads, yes that’s right add! So here is the thing, every game I win (1-2) I get a 30 second ad that I can’t skip and it is so frustrating because I can’t skip it. There was this one ad that had a skip and it was 15 seconds then I pressed skip and it said “you won’t get the reward if you skip the video” and I was wondering... ...what do I even get. I mean sometimes I get like 800 coins just for winning and I have like 50,000 coins which isn’t helpful. Yes I get it there has to be ads from those people (I don’t forgot the name) or sponsors. Well first of all we don’t even know what the reward is, we don’t want to watch a 30 second ad with no skips because we don’t care about those games, and lastly we only care about the game cats while we are watching those non skipping 30 second ads. So please for C.A.T.S sake and for those ad haters, mind adding a skip button in 5-7 seconds into the ad. Also another thing I notice is that all the other free games actually have a SKIP which puts this game into a bit more annoying game than the other ads. At least other games has a skip unlike this game is all I think about while watching an ad. Please ad a skip so me and everyone can actually enjoy the game. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
It’s fun to play. I could imagine it getting a bit receptive but for people like me that only play a game for a month or 2 it’s fine. The main version is a lot of fun but it can get a little hard to earn money and you eat up a lot of money trying to upgrade. You either have to play an insane amount of battles which gets boring or having to wait in packages to be given to you and sell 1.5 parts for every part you use to upgrade. The second or lower version of the game just isn’t very fun in my opinion. It’s like a half assed version of the main game, you can’t merge parts or sell parts so it gets repetitive easier that the original version because you’re not really upgrading you’re just making due with the same stuff at the same strength and hoping you win. I really haven’t played the lower version much since I simple don’t enjoy it. The only real improvements I could see is make battles worth a lot more money and it would be cool if as you upgraded weapons the thumbnail of the Weapon changed and got cooler in some way. I get it, these games are here to make money and that’s why they don’t give you a lot of money and stuff but at least make it worth it to play without absolutely having to spend money I mean for enough gold to merge a single weapon I haven to play 15 battles and merging one weapon makes almost no difference. Find a better balance. Good game over all tho
