Bowmasters is the definition of a 'guilty pleasure' mobile game. It’s essentially a modernized, ultra-violent take on the classic Artillery game genre. The physics are arcadey but consistent, and the over-the-top 'fatalities' and ragdoll physics provide a dark comedic edge that keeps the gameplay from feeling repetitive. With over 60 characters to unlock, ranging from recognizable parodies to original weirdos, there’s always something new to aim for.
While the core gameplay is simple—adjust your angle and power to hit your opponent—the variety of weapons keeps things interesting. Some weapons split in mid-air, others trigger explosions on impact, and mastering each one is half the fun. The addition of online multiplayer and various minigames like bird hunting adds enough variety to sustain long-term play. It’s colorful, chaotic, and perfect for short bursts of competitive fun.

Grate game but....
Wed Nov 25 2020 express busOk I can’t lie I love this game I’m in love with it , but there is some problemsSo I’m not really that good at the game which is obviously not your fault it’s my fault because I’m really bad but the thing is well I love the game it is amazing and I love how you can upgrade all your skins and it is so cool and I love it it is amazing but the ads aren’t the best all the time when I wanna posit game for something like when I just want to leave for a second then there’s always the ad when I want to go back to the game and I feel like this is so stupid how it does that but it’s OK but after every round there’s always an ad and I wish I just wish that it would be an ad and I hate But it’s amazing just the other bed and I just want to say some skins that are over powered saw the overpowered skins are at the store now I think there’s a level five or 10 I don’t really know but he’s really over powered because sometimes his when he has the lightning on there than it is really over powered and it’s just really hard to be a really long time to get past this level and it’s really really over powered so I just want you to fix that but their weapons is really amazing and I really love all of the new kind of characters and they’re just really really cool and I love all the ones it would be amazing if you could actually do a Christmas update or maybe a Thanksgiving like well I already saw some Thanksgiving one but may be a Christmas I would love that and keep up the good work ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Mon Jan 01 2018 Ari Is Very AwesomeI actually really like this game! It's a time killer and really fun! If you are looking for a newer, fresh game I suggest this one! It's nothing I've seen before, and a good idea. It's very colorful and the art style is very, very cute! I also really like that you can get characters without paying! The only problem is the ads, which get in the way of gameplay. There is an ad like every 2 seconds, and I get that they are providing a free game, and need to make money, but they could at least reduce the ad count just a little. Overall, I think it's a very fun game, and has potential. It could be better, by reducing the ads a tad bit. That's why it's only 4 stars :) EDIT** So the game updated today... very disappointed. They've now added diamond membership, so now you have to pay money to get "exclusive" characters. They were available yesterday for about 7,000 coins each! That's not that bad, and now they are just milking money out of people who took the time to download the game. I think this was a terrible idea, and when it updated, it said something along the lines of, "We've listened to your feedback and have updated the game!", are they blaming it on us? And if so, why? I have read most reviews, and nowhere did any of them say, "hey it would be a good idea to overcharge people for a membership, that comes with characters that are easy to earn.", unless I'm missing a few? I doubt anyone would say this or anything like it. I've changed my star rating since then, now to 2 stars. It's unfair to all the people who don't have money! I do have some money, but I'm not going to pay 12-13 dollars a month for diamond membership. Good day.
This game is good, but needs improvements
Tue Mar 05 2024 Ijvhbmjb,mFirst of all this game has way too many ads and recently I saw that it deleted some of the characters that I upgraded, and that took me a while to get over because I worked so hard on those characters and the for one day they should make every single character in the game free so you can get different characters that you really want to get because I have the game for a while when I was little I had the game uploaded but then I had to taken away, and then I had it re-uploaded, and there was one specific character that I always wanted that character was king octopus. I don’t know why, but it just looks so cool to me. There is a glitch with one of the upgraded characters, shark princess when she bites the person that she was fighting their body doesn’t splatter it just like glitches and stays the same so Bowmasters, if you’re reading this please can you make some characters more free and easier ways to get gems. and this game has way too many ads. Every time you can unlock the chest you have to watch an ad to get in it so I think you should maybe give a little bit of those skip ad tickets away for free and I’m not trying to sound ungrateful or anything but I think it’s way too hard to get gems, so I think Bowmaster have like one week out of the whole year that you can get whatever you want like you can select five premium characters that you’ve always wanted. You can select some upgraded characters that you’ve always wanted and maybe some of those skip add tickets and some gems. Bowmasters if you’re reading this, please consider doing some of the things that I said please
So many issues (long)
Fri Mar 06 2026 uhidekwhattoputherei have a LOT of issues with this game, like how the character select screen brings you to a character for a season quest (i’ll get into those later) instead of the last character you played as so you have to scroll to said character, why not just show the quests above or below that take you to the needed character? also the game throws SO many popups in your face in the menu, like i know you need money, but there’s better ways to do it, also onto seasons, do you need to throw it into our faces instead of just one “hey wanna see the season pass” button, and also you should give temporary access to locked characters for quests because they’re literally impossible to do without what you need, and also more characters need specials because otherwise they’re just a slightly different robin, also speaking of characters the voice actinf of certain characters is just so annoying, like why does kabuto need to run his mouth every turn its so annoying that i have to leave the match and gamble for a different opponent, like i wouldn’t mind if it wasnt so often and most if not all characters had voice acting (since the current lines in the game are just so out of place, also dont use an ai voice thas just lame) or just no voice acting at all, also its kinda annoying to fight on maps with high ground in the way since it makes it harder and most people go for 100% power they’ll likely miss. Also in zombie mode (or whatever) the meteor strike feels unrewarded, why not just let the player kill all the zombies and let the player use their finisher or whtever on the last one, and also you could give extra coins for killing a zombie mid-air or sniping one off-screen, etc etc i’ll add more later
Fun Concept Done Wrong
Wed Dec 09 2020 A guy who likes Tomato SoupThis game is a very fun and enjoyable game, when you actually get to play it. This game is loaded with ads every time you finish, start, and everywhere else. Ads are just everywhere. Characters are very hard to unlock, and don’t do much different from other characters. When you perform a fatality, half of the time when I hit someone, nothing happens. I don’t know if this is intentional game design, but it is still annoying. Back to unlocking characters. Half of characters either real life money, are gotten in chests, unlocked using in game money, or buying the VIP. All of these are a problem, except for the in game currency. No one wants to buy a character using in game money, especially when they are so similar to others. Chests are optioned by either watching an ad for them, or just waiting for them for like a day (which isn’t a problem, and is actually fair). The ad is annoying enough, but when u are about to land on a character (or something else) it will go to the other one (which only a slither of the box is on it) and give you that instead of a character. And no likes VIPs in games unless true life cannot be gotten unless you waste more money than a Netflix subscription, to get 14 characters which do nothing. Also the game’s advertisements straight up lie about gameplay. Luckily that isn’t why I got the game (a friend showed me it) but this is just cruel. This was the “Ha-Ha That’s not how the game actually plays” game before Gardenscapes. All in all, don’t buy this game, it’s a waste of storage.
TOO MANY ADS
Tue Sep 29 2026 000J4k3I’ve never felt the need to write a review on one of these games. But let’s be honest developer, the amount of ads in this game is absolutely ridiculous. I know you’re about to send an AI generated response too. YOU ARE IN NO WAY MINIMIZING THE ABOUT IF ADS! This game would have so many more people willing to spend money if there wasn’t so many ads. Having more ads doesn’t increase the likelihood of a player willing to purchase the premium version. It just encourages people to delete the game, inevitably having less customers for you. If you were to just limit the ads to one after the playable level, I would guarantee people would stop complaining about ads and play longer, which should still give you the same revenue from the ads. I know several instances where too many ads causes the player to delete the game rather than keep playing, which long term would help generate more add watch time. Consider cutting the add about if you want a better customer experience, which long term will help the success of this game. Isn’t that what you ad a developer want… grow a game long term, don’t try and maximize short term personal benefit. Just think about it, the only criticism people have about this game is not the gameplay, but ad related issues. Not a single person has complained about gameplay problems. If you truly want to “improve the experience of the game,” reduce your ads! Then you’ll start getting real positive reviews rather than the fake ones. It’s such an easy fix! You want long term customers, they are more willing to make external purchases

Sat Oct 21 2017 sailor_0703This game can be fun and entertaining, but comes with some problems. Mainly, this is due to the advertising in the game. The ads come frequently, and even after every match, except the "tournament.” After every match, you get a reward. However, you only get this reward after you watch a video ad. If you don't watch the ad, you get nothing. This becomes a problem in two situations. One(and the main occurrence): if you are not currently connected to the internet, you will have no opportunity to watch any ad, and thus will receive no prize(I just double-checked that this was still the case after the update just released, and it is still the case). Two(and I have had this happen to me in the past, before the update just released): you may tap on the button to watch a video ad, and be presented with a message, "There is no video available." The first situation is annoying and frustrating, but a common thing in many mobile games out these days, with an option to pay to remove the ads, and/or make available an offline option(which is acceptable). However, the second situation is unacceptable, and intolerable. THAT is why this game loses two stars from me. Another complaint I have is how characters are earned(besides purchases), which is after every match, the reward earned is a chest. Inside this chest is a random reward, consisting of either gold or a new character. As you gain characters, however, earning new characters becomes less and less frequent. Also, one character I have not earned yet requires watching 100 video ads(separately from any ads watched after matches). This is an insanely high number, and is ridiculous. These people are more than a bit greedy.
Stealing Money
Mon Sep 09 2024 ab17182This game is an absolute scam and is stealing money from people. I decided to buy a fox game pass for $7.99 because I thought it would be useful. It agreed that I would get a cool skin, a cool death effect, and a fox pet. All of those things I did receive. The rest of the agreement was that I would be rewarded with 30 skip-its, around 20 treasure chests, and a few other items. After purchasing it, I looked around in my character selection and saw that it was locked? I looked back and realized I HAVE TO EARN IT? Nowhere in the advertisement did it say that I had to not only buy it, but earn it by doing tasks in the actual game. After talking around, I read up and saw that there was no way to go back. Not only was I scammed, but it also lied to me. Another horrible thing about this app is that the ads go on forever! When you start the match, you’ll be given an ad. Then when you’re in the match, if you accidentally click on a treasure chest you’ll be given an ad. And even after the match you’ll have to watch an ad. Now if you’re not familiar, all of those ads are either inappropriate content, false and bad scamming sites, or disgusting and disturbing games. Not only are the ads required and weird but the prices are crazy! $20 per month for 14 extra characters, 100 gems and 1000 coins per day, and removing all adds!?! Now I obviously know that the horrible creators behind this terrible game don’t care about the reviews, but I believe “Bowmasters” should be boycotted. To this day I still don’t have the agreed items I was supposed to receive and don’t have my $7.99 back. This game is absolute trash.
