Bug fixes:
- In several places, the game sound is saturated when crouching and the ‘tap’ icon disappears
- The hints for The Oasis musical notes puzzle are out of screen on foldable devices
- The collected shrines window goes out of screen on foldable devices
- In immersive mode, Mui’s “Go to” action doesn’t cancel when you switch back to Lana’s control preventing Lana to move
- Lighting issues in “Quality” graphics setting in chapter 4, it’s too dark (lighting don’t work properly)
- Fixing a few texts display issues
Planet of Lana is a breathtaking achievement in cinematic platforming. Every frame looks like a high-end watercolor painting, but it’s the emotional core of the game that truly stands out. The relationship between Lana and Mui is built through gameplay, not just cutscenes. Giving Mui commands to help solve puzzles feels organic and creates a genuine bond between the player and the digital companion.
The puzzles are perfectly tuned—challenging enough to make you stop and think, but never so frustrating that they break the game's incredible flow. The transition from peaceful exploration to high-stakes stealth when the machines appear is handled with expert pacing. It is a hauntingly beautiful story about home and courage that everyone should play.

Mui is essential for puzzles. Use the 'Stay' and 'Follow' commands to position Mui on pressure plates or have him chew through wires to disable machines while Lana progresses.
The machines have a visible detection cone. Wait in the tall grass and observe their movement patterns. Use Mui as a distraction—he can chirrup to draw a robot's attention away from Lana's path.
The focus is on puzzles and atmosphere rather than difficult 'twitch' platforming, making it accessible to most players.
I wish it had horses in it and you find them in a field And you can jump on their back and tame them kind of like Zelda and you can put them back in the stable if you don’t wanna ride them and take them out whenever
This is a wonderful game with great story, graphics and puzzles to solve. It is frustrating to make lots of progress in the game, and not have any of that progress saved for the next time I can play. It seems to have only saved to a certain point and I must play for another 45 mins to an hour to get caught up to where I was when I stopped playing. It is frustrating and irritating to not be able to save at certain milestones since it is not doing so automatically.
Bought it knowing about the save issues and mad I did. Tried the “play only in airplane mode” trick and it definitely didn’t work for me. I want to try again because it’s beautifully done but I’m too butthurt and don’t want to attempt until it’s fixed. $9 shouldn’t have this issue. Pls lmk when it’s safe to try again! Thx!
This is the kind of game we actually need - a full price, buy-to-own game with rich content and innovative gameplay, not those so-called “free” games that trap you into endless in-app purchases and play-to-win grinding.
Do not get this game. It is fun but game does not save. I’ve played this game four times getting pretty far in it only to return to start all over again on the fourth time I played it for an hour thinking it was going to save because they suggested playing it on airplane mode would save it but it did not save it. I wasted all that time I won’t get that time back so until they fix this game, I highly suggest you don’t buy it.
I absolutely loved the game! The art and puzzle solving was so fun! I had to finish it in one sitting. It’s well worth the price I think. You can tell a lot of work went into this, and it shows. Amazing game, I do recommend!
Very cool design overall but too scary/creepy if your child is young and/or sensitive to such things. Abductions, monsters, abandonment, dark scenarios, intense music, etc. Not great if your child is under 10 and/or not already fan of creepy sci-fi.
I had to check another app while playing, and when I returned to play the game, it reset the entire thing. Two hours of game play completely erased. What's worse is that the developers didn't even bother to have a save option, which is very odd. This is an incredible game but ruined by something beyond comprehension. Fix it!!
