I am truly impressed!

An update was processed recently which updated the shop and fixed some internet connection issues. The update for the shop, to me, was just horrible. It raised costs considerably and there were no adjustments made for us. I stated my concerns and even was going to stop playing the app. I must say I was genuinely impressed when I was replied to and the representatives who heard my complaints and issues! They processed another update making what I though was some significant to the changes in the shop! I must say I have never had such awesome feedback and such a positive experience with an app! I cannot express my gratitude enough for listening to my concerns and what I felt many others would not like then to make changes accordingly! I now feel the shop changes are mostly to our benefits and the cosmetic changes are awesome as well. I will definitely continue to play and encourage others to play as well. And please if you have any concerns express them. They will listen. As far as I am concerned customer support deserves many more than 5 stars!

Be warned it’s rigged against you

Be warned it’s rigged against you, unless you pay. I’m at level 592 I can tell you how the game play will go…easy as pie for the first bunch of levels, then when u start breezing through, your gonna hit one nearly impossible “super hard level” that will force you to play over and over or pay to not lose all the good helpers you have collected or use all of those helpers (‘tricks) to beat the level. So you cave spend $1.99 to get through it and then 2 levels later same thing, you will also note this usually happens only when you are trying to get others for big prizes, like the “races” for 10 levels, where level 3 and 7 are severe ‘9for example) to get you to part with your money. I would prefer a paid version that is based on skill rather than a version you pay a lot more for to satisfy the developers corp. So …it’s up to you, the play is fun and more rewarding than royal match but it’s still a HUGE cash grab. We no longer play because of this…and the fact that “building” the cities is just stupid and laid out clumsily and 3 months later and 600 levels still only built up one area. So play if you want, obviously I had some fun…but if they think we are going to regularly pay 9.99 for a few gems to reach some fake hurdle that mysteriously disappears as soon as you pay to continue… it’s a hard pass fellas.

A good game but not what I was looking for.

This game is a solid matching game. And for the amount I’ve played it isn’t trying to force me to buy. I do appreciate no ads as well. But I’m giving a 3 star rating because I feel a bit lied too. I got it because I wanted to do the “help the people” tasks as advertised. And there are some of those levels at the first 20 or so levels. (After 5 levels you’ll get one help level). But after that there is none. New mechanics get introduced and so on but no more help levels. I’ve played about 50 levels straight without encountering another one of those levels and that bummed me out. I feel they put those help levels at the start to technically say they are there and you can play them initially but didn’t do much beyond that. Even more frustrating that the map you can see for those type of levels implies there a good amount of levels to play of that type. So I don’t think I just ran out of those levels. Regardless if I get another one of those help levels at level 100 or something, the pacing of the help levels showing up to the regular ones isn’t great. Other than that it’s a decent game. If you get it. Just know you won’t be playing as many help levels as you might initially think.

You do NOT STRIVE TO IMPROVE ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR YOUR GAIN AT THE PLAYERS EXPENSE, that’s the truth. So do not feed me lies. I have continued to put money into this game, have used shuffle and got nothing. I just thought Toon Blast was the ultimate pay to play if you want to be competitive and advance but they do NOT hold a candle to you. This is the worst game that takes advantage of players I have played and I’ve played a lot of games. When I let the game use my combination of arrow/tnt, propeller it will take out one item as posed to an entire line that it could have or set off the magic ball/cube intently to eliminate one item when it could have taken out an entire line and left the magic ball/arrow in tact. That is sorrier than sorry, and that is where you fit. I’ve said it before but I will delete this game after I’ve used all of my gems, which will not take long at all and move on. I can’t tolerate this level of a farse of a game. You can’t show your players that MM continue to throw money into your game any respect, none at all. Therefore I can’t stay here. You are pathetic. And I am for thinking maybe your last two updates would show some improvements. They have not in any way. You even hide items on the board, and why? Just to make it as difficult as you possibly can. This will backfire on you in the long run. Just waits and see.

Newest Glitch

Love the game it’s been a companion for me, especially over the last few months because I’ve had to spend so much time with family members in the hospital and sleepless nights. I’d recommend it normally to anyone there was a glitch yesterday or the day before and we were given all these wonderful diamonds and I had no idea where they came from. I just thought this is great so I used them now they’re saying that it was a glitch on their end and they apologized for it and they’re gonna deduct any additional diamonds from future plays until they’re all paid back. Mine is 55,000. Honestly, I would’ve thought they would just remove the excess. that was left and leave future Diamond awards alone not recoup them haven’t decided for sure how I feel about that. I didn’t make the mistake. I didn’t think I had done anything wrong. Going forward I just need to make up my mind whether or not I want to continue to play and I say that honestly not trying to persuade someone and changing their mind. This is just my opinion.

Fun but expensive

I have written a review about this game before, particularly about it being so expensive if you want to move forward in the game. Instead of being a game of skill, a player is told that they are out of moves when clearly they are not. If the player is competitive and wants to advance in the game, money must be spent, and a lot more money than other games cost. After my previous review, the game developers made some changes by rewarding players with freebies, but still such freebies are far less than other games. I suggest that the game developers of Matching Story play Panthia, a game that a person can play for a long period of time and advance through the game. If a player does spend money, it is a small amount, and the game gives back freebies that are worth more than what the player spent. Players expect to be challenged and use their skills to advance through the game—not because they spent a lot of money to do so.

Playing this game gets expensive - edited

I loved this game in the beginning. Puzzles were workable and could play awhile. I was always getting power-ups that helped me stay in the game. Puzzles were not too easy and had some challenge to keep things interesting. Then, after awhile, even after spending money every time I played, some puzzles were impossible without throwing more money in the game. DEVELOPERS: Don’t you realize people would be willing to spend money if they could play the game awhile and have some fun? Instead of shelling out money just to stay in the game? I may be done with this game. Not fun any more!!! ……..I just finished reading several reviews that gave this game a 5. And I would like to see what they give this game when they have to shell out money all through the game just to stay in the game. Yes, you can always start over, until your lives run out. Then, when you are almost winning and you have no more coins or lives, you will spend some money just to stay in the game. And it happens very often. You’ll get a couple easy puzzles, then a few impossible ones that you can’t win… spend more money. And on and on…

Matching story

This game is pathetic! I’ve finished all the levels and now I play repeat levels. I didn’t realize just how incredibly hard this game is since I stopped paying for it. I can’t even get through one screen without 8-20 tries. You need the golden spheres to really progress in the levels. Without them you have zero advantage to complete a screen. I am truly disgusted. You can’t even play the game without the match game. Nothing to do. What the….😡😡😡 Wow! Just wow! I have never played a match game that was this hard to stay in the game. You greedy developers have far exceeded the capability of a player finishing a board. Just to stay on a board you charge 900 gems, then if you can’t quite finish the board, it’s 1900 gems, then 1000 after that! What do you think the players are? We aren’t made of money, we just want some fun. I don’t mind paying but this is out of control stupid money. Wake up! No game is worth spending money after money to play this game. We delete the game and move on to the next one. You developers are so greedy it makes me sick! DELETE this game and go play Lilies Garden. Just as challenging but you only pay 900 gems for extra moves, then just 900 for more. Much cheaper and just as fun.
