-Bug fixes and improvements
Thanks for playing!
Luminaria: Forgotten Echoes is a standout in the mobile RPG/Adventure space. It feels like a love letter to classic exploration games, focusing on a world that is literally dying of darkness. You play as a hero trying to bring light back to various regions, and the way the world visually changes as you 'purify' areas is incredibly satisfying.
The storytelling is subtle, told through environmental cues and cryptic echoes of the past, rather than long walls of text. The combat is simple enough for touchscreens but requires actual thought regarding positioning and timing. The art style is the real star here—minimalist but highly atmospheric, using light and shadow to create a sense of scale and loneliness. It’s an evocative journey that stays with you long after you've put your phone down. Highly recommended for fans of 'Journey' or 'Sky: Children of the Light.'
Stunning stylized 3D graphics
Emotional environmental storytelling
Unique light-based mechanics
Exploration-focused gameplay
Immersive original soundtrack
Your light source is also your health. In dark areas, your light fades over time. Find 'Lumen Crystals' to recharge and stay near permanent light sources during combat.
Travel through an open-world environment, interacting with ancient shrines and avoiding the 'Deep Shadows.' Use your light to reveal hidden paths and solve environmental puzzles.
Yes, there is real-time combat where you use light-based skills to defeat shadow entities.
I’ve only played through the first chapter so far, and it’s so good! The music has a calming ambiance to it as well. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to play this game! I hope it goes on for a while and has a lot of levels, cause I’m totally hooked on it! :)
Many of the puzzles earlier on are fun, but a good amount of the game is made up of moving your finger in a circle trying to find what the devs think is a perfect square and what isn’t. The story comes together in the end but the grammar is a huge turn-off throughout. Timing bits are pretty annoying considering how they appear 80% through the game but add a nice layer of difficulty for reflex-based players. Overall way too short, beatable in one to two hours but with quality music while it lasts so is very calming
Luminaria is quite engaging and fun. Its futuristic story made me think and dream while trying to solve the puzzles. The design is subtle and professional, and colors are friendly and inviting. I highly recommend it.
I loved playing this puzzle game. It has a brilliant design and difficult prompt. If you like puzzles, it’s your game. Go for it.
Not puzzle as much as a reaction/timed game. I wish the description would have been more accurate. I can’t play because I’m not fast or dexterous enough to get another ”memory.” Truly sorry I purchased.
Love the game
