FROGBLOCK

Frogblock is a deceptively simple sliding block puzzle that will quickly humble you. What starts as a 'tutorial' for children rapidly evolves into a spatial reasoning challenge that would make an architect sweat. The 'cute frog' theme is a clever mask for some truly rigorous logic puzzles. It feels very similar to the classic 'Rush Hour' board game, but the addition of terrain types like mud and water currents keeps the mechanics fresh even 100 levels in.

I particularly enjoyed the lack of a 'move limit' in the standard play. It encourages experimentation—you can shuffle blocks around aimlessly until a path starts to emerge without fear of a 'Game Over' screen. The hand-drawn art style is very charming and provides a much-needed 'cozy' vibe during the more frustratingly difficult levels. It’s a solid addition to any puzzle fan’s folder, especially if you enjoy the satisfaction of untangling a crowded grid.
