- Bug fixes and improvements
Crystal Journey - Lum's Adventure is a breath-taking puzzle odyssey that fans of 'Monument Valley' will absolutely adore. The game is divided into atmospheric chapters like 'Middle Age' and 'Night Mystery,' each offering a distinct visual and emotional tone. The 3D path-based puzzles are masterfully designed—they are challenging enough to make you pause and think, but logical enough to provide a profound sense of satisfaction once solved.
What truly makes Crystal Journey special is its commitment to the player experience: no ads, no in-app purchases, and full offline support. This allows you to truly immerse yourself in Lum's world without distractions. The trial-and-error mechanics are forgiving yet rewarding, and the recent UI/UX redesign has made the touch controls incredibly smooth. It’s an evocative, artistic journey that prioritizes quality and atmosphere over monetization, making it one of the best indie puzzles on the App Store.

Use the mini-map to visualize the path. Rotate or move blocks to create a clear walkway for Lum. If you reach a dead end, use trial and error to rethink the sequence of movements required to reach the purple crystal.
Each chapter, such as 'Middle Age', introduces new mechanics and visual themes. Pay attention to environmental clues that hint at how puzzles should be solved. Progress through all chapters to complete Lum's ultimate discovery.
No, Crystal Journey is a premium-style experience with no ads and no in-app purchases.
This is a great addition to a genre that I think is under-represented. Games like Monument Valley, Roterra, Poly Vita, Inked etc, allow you to take a 10 minute break in your day to figure out a level, feel satisfied, and then go about your day. There is structure and logic and a clear level goal with increasing levels of complexity to achieve the next level. But you don’t have to consume your life with it. The mechanics of this game are readily understandable on each level. Some trial and error required and you have to start each level from the beginning if you mess up. I wish there was a little bit more “story” but I assume that’s in the developers plans. Looking forward to this developers enhancements and additional games like this.
Some puzzles are tricky but if you keep try different things you can get it figured out. Definitely worth it. Also, I appreciate that there is no bait and switch. This stays a puzzle and not a timed/reflex game.
I’m at 60% of the “middle age” part, a small platform is supposed to rise up when a column part is lowered. I’ve reset this part at least 8 times and lowered the column each time. The platform never rises up. So I can’t finish this stage and go on to another level. I liked all the other levels I’ve played so far. Was a great game until this problem.
I’m on 20% of middle age once you start the game there’s a space that does let you movie anywhere else I’ve tried everything but it stays the same.
