Fran Bow Chapter 2: Part 1 and Part 2. After escaping the oppressive Oswald Asylum, Fran finds herself in a lush, yet terrifying forest. This chapter introduces players to the wider, surreal world of Fran's journey, featuring the infamous encounter with the Siamese twins Clara and Mia. Players must use the dual-reality mechanic to solve complex environmental puzzles, interact with eccentric (and often dangerous) characters, and dive deeper into the psychological trauma of a young girl searching for her lost cat and the truth about her parents' murder.

Our Expert Score

90/100

Fran Bow Chapter 2 continues the dark, psychological journey of Fran with a masterful expansion of its macabre world. Following her escape from the asylum, the narrative shifts into a more surreal, fairytale-gone-wrong aesthetic that is both beautiful and deeply unsettling. The introduction of the 'Twin's House' remains one of the most chilling sequences in modern point-and-click history, perfectly blending tragedy with horror.

The puzzles in this chapter are a significant step up, requiring more lateral thinking as you jump between realities using Fran's pills. What makes this chapter truly shine is the character writing; Fran’s innocence in the face of absolute grotesquery creates a unique emotional weight that keeps you invested. The hand-drawn art remains breathtakingly original, and the atmosphere is thick with a sense of impending dread that few games manage to sustain so effectively.

Idk about what another reviewer was saying, but this game did not crash for me it ran perfectly (my advice is to check your internet connection and how up to date the device you are playing this game on) Hands down the best point and click adventure game that I've played in years!!!! My second favorite point and click after maniac mansion. Please please come out with more games like this series!!!!!!! Totally loved it, no complaints at all and I'm picky about my point and click adventure games. A+ times a billion

This Chapter crashes too!

Somehow, I made it through chapter 1, despite the constant crashes and hoped that chapter 2 might not have that problem, but I was wrong. If I'm lucky, I can play for 10 sec at a time, and then it crashes. Most times it crashes immediately after opening it. I won't be purchasing the other chapters until this bug is fixed!

Magical game!

This game is amazing, the mysteries you have to solve make your brain run! Fran Bow is an exceptional game; there are always deeper stories within. The twins really caught my eye, the fact that there is a story imbedded within a different story is magical. Thank you for this game and Little Misfortune. ❤️❤️❤️

No crashing here

Don’t get me wrong, great game. But it freezes anytime you leave the app and I needed help with the puzzle in part 2 and I can’t finish it because it keeps freezing and resetting my progress. Just really pisses me off. Not surprised considering there hasn’t been an update in 5 years but still. Annoying.

Super amazing!
