Issue with save files fixed
I only wish this game could’ve gone on longer. It’s my favorite game in a couple years, and I can’t wait to see what this developer does next. This game is really reminiscent of the Amanita Design games, if you like that style. The art is fantastic and puzzles are great. I was determined not to cheat and look at a walk-through, and I didn’t. I made it all the way through. Some of the puzzles are very challenging. But they are all logical, and you will not be aggravated with any of them when you discover the solutions, unlike some games. I hope to see more!
The game started off cute enough aside from the backgrounds (albeit beautiful) being huge and detailed and every item being the size of an actual needle hole. Before I could solve even the first task, I somehow practically soft locked myself by getting to and pushing down the fridge immediately after I started. I had no idea this was the case as I walked back and forth between the fish guy, couch guy and broom guy and garden lady. This blocked the water for the plants and was just so confused. Some of the puzzles were hard but intuitive, others easy and some just straight up making me play another game like sudoku, minus 4 pieces that I spent tons of time looking for, connect four, circuit wire puzzle, gear puzzle and the awful shop guy puzzle you where you had to get 10 right or you start over but you can't see what the heck the tiny symbols are. Just felt like a cheap way to extend an already short game. My biggest complaint though is the clunky movement. The backgrounds seem so vast yet you're so limited where you can walk, if the characters will even walk where you tell it without talking to someone or going up an elevator. Perhaps it's best played on an iPad if you don't mind playing a bunch of existing mini puzzles.
Oh my goodness. This game is an absolute masterpiece! It’s beautiful, relaxing, and the character your playing is a sweet character and amazing friend, the game’s graphics are just perfect, and amazing! I love this game, the art is just so perfect, and the gameplay is so good!! The puzzles are challenging and fun, and relaxing. Seeing my little soda can character smile just warms my heart, and his neighbours are kind and helpful!! Overall, this is an amazing game, and I really recommend buying. I feel really sorry for the dog though and I miss it already 😔 💖 ~ ItzjustOceanthecatlover🍋🟩🌅
The graphics for inventory items are so small I can’t see them under my finger as I drag them onto the scene to use. It’s very hard to see when the item activates this way. It would be much easier to see if I could use a stylus (like my Apple Pencil) instead of my finger. I’m on an iPad 11 Pro. That said, I love the artwork, the story, the soundtrack, and the puzzles so far. Edit: I found an old rubber tip stylus and solved my fat finger problem. This game is delightful. I hope you are safe, and I hope you make more
I love being a little can on a mission, and for the most part enjoy the lack of words. But after stepping away and losing progress on a couple of puzzles because the autosave wasn’t keeping up, I wanted to save the game manually. I followed symbols for what looked like saving, but instead accidentally deleted my progress up to that point. Save people the frustration and provide rudimentary labels in the settings please! I was far enough in that I don’t want to start over.
Ok, agreed. It’s on the shorter side (compared to maybe a Glitch game). But there’s a lot of beauty and fun packed into this game. The characters are darling. The storyline is simple…each character tells you what happened to them through comic-style art. And like true adventure point-n-click gaming…it’s our job to help! There aren’t many games out there like this. Especially games without violence and occult themes. So if you like this style of game, imho it’s important to support these kinds of clever developers. And the price? Yes it’s worth it. A cup of coffee or movie ticket costs 2-3x this price. And the amount of work that goes into these games is priceless. Devs: the inventory tray…and thus each item…is quite small. So if you make another game, descriptions of the inventory items would be helpful. :)
I purchased this game not too long ago as I am one who very much enjoys puzzle games. Especially ones like these where it’s visually pleasing. It very much reminds me of Machinarium. The main inconvenience I am experiencing however is whenever I touch the screen, regardless on where, the home bar appears. Then eventually fades away. This occurs constantly and won’t stop no matter what I do. With it appearing and disappearing all the time is constantly off putting that it ruins the experience for me.
I really enjoy this game. I find is difficult to play on iPhone given the small screen. I downloaded to my iPad and it started again at the beginning. Using same Game Center id and am recognized. Game Center setting on 2nd device has a record log of my progress on my first device, but game doesn’t open at that point. I’m not sure if the app itself does not permit this, but I don’t have the same issue with other Game Center games. Very frustrating.
