- It's possible to "skip" buying an item in the shop
- Warrior's "Explosive Armor" skill now collects all shields on the board first, then consumes player's shield and deals damage equal to shield value
- Endgame Weapons have increased damage now
- Various minor balance adjustments
Dungeon Falan is one of those 'just one more turn' games that quickly becomes an obsession. It masterfully blends Match-3 mechanics with RPG progression and roguelike tension. Matching weapons to hit monsters while simultaneously matching shields to level up creates a frantic and rewarding tactical loop.
The game's haptic feedback is some of the best I've experienced on iOS. Every tile move and every strike feels weighted and satisfying. The generative music, which builds in tension as you approach a boss, adds a layer of polish that makes the dungeon-crawling feel truly atmospheric.
I especially appreciate the lack of intrusive monetization. It's a premium experience through and through. Whether you're grinding through the 100-turn Mayhem Mode during a commute or climbing the daily leaderboards, Dungeon Falan feels like a game made with genuine love for the genre.

Experiment with different classes to find the one that fits your playstyle. Use the Knight for defense or the Rogue for high-damage combos, and always match treasure to afford better gear.
Players trace lines through tiles to match items. Longer chains result in more powerful attacks or greater resource gains, essential for defeating bosses.
Mayhem Mode is a fast-paced 100-turn mode with 2x XP and gold, perfect for quick play sessions.
This was mentioned before but I hope there will be a change to allow weapons/armor to keep upgrades when purchasing new gear. Replacing those buffs makes upgrade builds a lot worse (which was the first build I did when playing the game for the first time). I like the game and am glad to have a dungeon raid clone again. Looking forward to updates.
If you’re going to completely rip off a game wholesale, it’s wise to do so with a game that was great and also is no longer available in the Apple store. Well, here we are with a completely shameless knock-off that is a beat-for-beat a replication of Dungeon Raid (but this one has...wait for it...pixel art instead!) Other games that were awesome that I would also like to see shamelessly pilfered because I can’t play them anymore: Kard Combat and Dungeon Solitaire. Please hop on those as well because they were great and also didn’t survive the Great IOS Update a few years back.
My iPhone is 6+ and is running iOS 12.4.9, so the experience I had might be not same to all the newer and shiny models. Whenever I try to make a chain that goes longer than 5 tiles, the game stutters for every tile I connect. Almost every time I make a swipe to make a long chain, it always stops registering my input in the middle and stuck on a tile far ahead from where my finger currently is. This made me extra conscious about every move I make between every tile, and it made the game really stuffy and exhausting. The phone also gets really, really hot for playing it for 5 minutes. I tried applying the battery saver feature and disabling heptic feedback, and couldn't make it less worse. I am one of the people who were desperately looking forward to a successor of the long-before deceased game, so I am really disappointed that I can't jump into this seemingly perfect alternative. I had other small complains like 'title screen is dizzy', 'full board flashing on receiving an attack might be straining eyes', but I believe most of the players have no problem with these.
So glad I found this game! I like it better than similar ones I’ve tried (they were overly complicated or too deep). This strikes the right balance. It’s accessible for a casual gamer like me. Challenging enough but not overly hard or frustrating. The design is really cool too. I also applaud the developer for monetizing fairly. It’s so rare to find a fair-priced premium game with no ads or IAP. Thank you! We need more good guys like you out there. I look forward to playing this game more!
Why doesn’t this game auto save like most smartphone games? I get distracted by a message notification in another app, end up forgetting about the game, browse Reddit for awhile, then open the game to find out iOS kicked it out of the background. It starts up again, and if I didn’t hit level 2 before leaving the game, I have to start a new one. If I didn’t hit a new level, then I’m reverted back to the previous level. It’s super not friendly for being a smart phone game and really makes it a slog to play.
Just discovered this. Was a Dungeon Raid fan years ago and this one plays great. It isn’t exactly the same but close enough. I feel there is more that could be done with it and would love the devs to keep improvements coming. I would pay for things like character types and bonus power ups etc.
I used to play Dungeon raid with my mom a decade ago, but I knew it wouldnt be updated to the current IOS. When I looked it up in the search I was very excited to see someone had made a clone of it. After playing it I realize it feels like the original, and uses the new features of the newer iphone generation. The haptic vibration and music are great touches, it really is great to play.
This is a creative match 3 game that I love! It’s hard. But it’s ingenious that the developers designed it that the game keeps a collective score from all of your runs. And when you reach certain score milestones you’ll unlock new characters and features! Bravo! Please continue to update game and bring new features to it
Ya'll remember Dungeon Raid, right? The phenomenal matching RPG hybrid that launched on mobile more than a decade ago, but was more or less...
