As the title suggests, it’s a pretty good game. Get it and try it, it’s a fun way to burn time. Now to get in depth, as the other part of the title suggests it has issues. Every game does, no game is perfect. But let me start with a few good things about the game before the bad. It’s the only mobile game where I haven’t deleted it after a few months, I’ve never gotten bored with it. It has frequent updates, it doesn’t have bad graphics like most mobile games ( the graphics aren’t amazing, yet there not under good ). They are quick to fix bugs. I could list more but I still have the bad to say and the reviews already to long. So for bad, upgrading like most games takes sooooo long, I’m at the point to where it takes almost 3 days to upgrade something and I’m not to close to the end of the game. Base Defence is way to hard, attackers have so many solidiers to choose from with different abilities that it’s not even worth it to build walls. It’s not like the ads you see, progression is slow in 5 months your base isn’t going to be as good as they say in the ads. It’s really hard to find a good clan, and if you decide to make your own it’s really hard to get people to join it. There’s a lot more things I could list, but my fingers are tired and the review is long. I hope all the bad things I’ve said haven’t stopped you from getting the game, just try it. And if the developers read this, congrats you’ve made a good game, but please work on the issues listed. Cheers

I’ve played this game for years and years on end. Sure I’ve had my times of not playing. Maybe consisting of a month or weeks at a time but I always come back to this game and I am able to pick it up without worrying about anything. Sure I may have lost my ranking but it’s super easy to just get your rank right back. This game has always been a nice family game as-well. Started out with a family clan for our whole family, cousins included, then it branches out to others. Eventually the clan did kinda die down. And so I went and made my own clan. I had a few people join but never really got past 7 members. Nevertheless the game is fun and I enjoy it so much. The graphics are also great. The textures and stuff really fit in and make it feel how it should feel. The troops got in and look goofy enough at times but you don’t even notice it with time. I love the gameplay aspect and it really makes you enjoy there game. Sure, building and upgrading times are long; but without the long wait you would progress to the newest town hall way faster. One thing I would like though is the ability to change your clan name once. I would love this as I made my clan when I was young and dislike the clan name. I wish I could change it even if it were just a one time per account or something. It would be a game changer Overall this is a great game and I would highly recommended trying it out if your looking for a new game to try out. Pros - everything? Cons - ok, maybe the upgrade timers may be a little and I mean A LITTLE long.

My biggest problem with this game is their slow update cycle. I’ve been playing this game since that fist Super Bowl commercial way back in the day. Alas! After countless hours, I am now a maxed TH. At first this was a fantastic feeling. Then, a couple months later, an update got released. No big deal, I’ll just continue my upgrades and do it again. It made it fun. This process continued for about a year. What I noticed during this time is slowly but surely, everyone in the clan was becoming maxed as well. Also, the time between updates kept getting a little longer than the previous. The result is everyone end up getting bored for about 2 months waiting for the next update. When the update finally drops, it’s only one or two TH levels and maybe 5 royal levels. Once you’ve played the game as long as I have you can get max again in a few weeks. Then, the cycle continues. More of the clan becomes maxed. The wait time gets longer. I finally gave up and deleted the game. It was tough. My clan was like family and we’d been together for many years. Some of us since the beginning. What SC needs to do is release an update that is substantial, massive maybe. Double the TH levels ... something ... anything to break the cycle. But alas, the recent update FINALLY dropped and it was exactly the same. Thanks but no thanks SC. I am done for good. I feel this is a trending feeling with a lot of other players. In a year or two, we will all say, “hey, remember Clash of Clans?”. “Yeah, that used to be a fun game before they got greedy”.

Omg this is like one of the only games that I consistently play and have a good time with it. It’s not like all the other games that you just ”build an empire,” this is a game where you have clans, wars, clan games, have another builder base that you can work on AND build attack and defend against other players! My whole family has been playing this game for a really long time and we have always loved it! I know a lot of people who don’t like the builder base, but I think it is VERY fun because when you are waiting for your army to train in the other base. I wish the builder base wall were different though because I always have too much or too less and I alway have a gap. If this is changeable that would be AWESOME!! But I understand that everyone would have to change their base and that would cause lots of bad stuff. I also love this game because it is a way to connect with family and friends through a game and you can talk about who’s going to attack number... in war and what troops you want to give! The list can go on and on. I did find a bug tho. When you are in the regular base and you are training troops and you pick up a troop category it isn’t on where your finger is. Another thing that is SOOO annoying is that when ever you are in the building section, and you go up and down it moves too far and it makes it so I can’t see them as well. I really hope this gets changed. Thank you for reading this and I LOVE this game!!!

Coc is my favorite mobile game I’ve ever played. Every aspect of it appeals to me. The troops are amazing. Being able to customize your own base is awesome. The night base had some very new and interesting concepts of defenses. These are not critiques but more of ideas for the developers to add into the game. Everybody always wants a new townhall level and the developers must be running out of ideas for new features. Something I would like for a potential town hall thirteen would be a new troop like the ice wizard or the electro wizard from clash Royale. (I know that the ice wizard is a limited time troop, but I think it would make a good permanent troop) A new addition for th13 could be defense troops, you could have a maximum space of 45 to hold defense troops, and you could train almost any troop you want (I would suggest not allowing the training of electro dragons baby dragons golems or ice golems.) I would also suggest a new defense “The ice wizard tower.” Another feature I would suggest is the ability to gear up standard wizard towers with a new level that would be included with th13. The gear up option would make the wizard tower multi target, but to 1/3 of the damage it originally did with each wizard on the tower. Another suggestion I have would be for a new trap called “ice bomb” it would do a little bit less damage than the regular bomb but it would slow down troops that triggered it. I hope a member of supercell reads this and takes my ideas into consideration.

Clash is a wonderful game but it is plagued with non game nuisance like upgrade timers and artificial length. The game could be about playing it but it becomes just about waiting for upgrades to finish 95% of the time. The solution clash of clans introduced from the beginning I believe is still just spend money to speed things up. If I wanted to catch up to another player that has been playing longer than me, I would need to spend hundreds of dollars maybe even thousands to speed up something that could be a click of a button. The game isn’t even about raiding to get enough gold or elixir, it’s about playing for a day in between a 3-7 day window while you wait for your town to build up instead of playing the game 3-7 days to earn enough resources to upgrade your buildings. The involvement with clan wars and I guess the rank system are the only thing you could consider to be daily playable progress and you are going to hit a level of base you can’t make progress on until your troops are high enough level eventually anyways. It’s just a shame that this could be a game I play instead of a game I look at. I shouldn’t be angry at a simply game but it’s hard not to when I look at it and can’t upgrade or progress for 5 days while my builders finish making my air defense do ~5-10% more damage maybe. The clan bases and daily incentives are cool but it doesn’t matter when you have full storage for a week and can’t do anything.

To start with, I have not put a single penny into this game in the years of me playing it. I rate the game a strong 5 stars mainly because of this. The fact that I have watched this game grow and change just the same as my base, shows the time and devotion developers have put into it. Even though some updates have been disliked by the community, they have come to make the experience all the better. For example the removal of global chat. Although everyone was upset it ultimately eliminated a lot of hateful players who were not there to even play. This strengthened the coc community and I can ultimately appreciate it, which is evident through me being able to join any clan now and it being full of people with the utmost integrity. Clans without integrity fail and the developers have helped every clan to have some integrity with one update. Really the only thing I can pick at, my one wish if I had one to improve the game now, would be to allow players to buy gems with excess currency. This I believe would fix any time management problems players like me may have. The addition of the gem mine is great but I only have one and I can only get a max of like 14. I guess it’s really not necessary but in my opinion there’s nothing more you could do to improve the game because it’s already so great. That’s why I get so blown away by the growth of the game but yeah love this mobile game and I don’t care how big it gets it will always be on my gaming list on par with my console games!!! Seriously though send me some gems y’all lol

This is the most used app I have. But I have two improvements, like being able to buy trees and rocks and such or my favorite one, naval warfare. You have introduced ships to us with the builder hall update and in a Clash-a-Rama episode. But I’m talking like firing goblins from the port goblin cannon onto a ship full of Barbarians. Now you can imagine the rest, but it will be set up like this. There is a shipyard at the top of the shore. You have to be level 5 Town Hall for it, because you introduced sailing at Town Hall 4. Fight against other players will be like clash royal. Except the person who loses all of their ships first loses, and the winner gets all the other persons gold and gunpowder. Now let’s talk about gunpowder. This resource takes elixirs place in naval warfare. You collect it with mines. Back to the ships. After fighting both players have to repair their ships, except the losing player has to pay more. Oh I forgot, you have to buy ships. Each ship has a capacity, so a small goblin ship lvl 1 might have a capacity of 2, but a giant wizard ship level 7 might have a capacity of 10. There could be a ship for each troop and you can upgrade the ships, once a ship is level 4 you can combine it with another ship. To get in my example a giant wizard ship, not giant wizard, giants and wizards. Each ship might have different properties, like a giant ship has giant cannons, no the the defense in builder base, instead of the long range goblin cannon of a goblin ship. This was based on a dream.
