Archero is the game that practically invented a new sub-genre of mobile action. Its 'one-thumb' control scheme is a masterclass in elegant design—you move to dodge and stand still to shoot. This creates a rhythmic dance of combat that is incredibly satisfying and easy to pick up, but brutally difficult to master. The roguelike elements mean that every run is different, forcing you to choose between power-ups that could make or break your attempt at a boss.
The progression system is vast. Beyond the individual runs, you’re constantly upgrading your gear, unlocking new heroes, and developing 'talents' that provide permanent boosts. It hits that perfect dopamine loop of 'fail, upgrade, try again.' While the difficulty spikes in later chapters are legendary, the sense of accomplishment when you finally clear a room of a hundred projectiles is unparalleled in mobile gaming.
Unique one-handed control scheme
Thousands of random skill combinations
Massive variety of monsters and bosses
Deep equipment and talent progression
Prioritize 'Ricochet' and 'Multishot.' These two skills combined turn your single arrow into a room-clearing volley, making it much easier to handle the larger mobs in later stages.
Every boss has a tell. Spend the first 10 seconds of a boss fight just moving and observing. Once you learn their firing rhythm, you'll know exactly when it's safe to stand still and attack.
An internet connection is generally required to save progress and access daily rewards.
Spinning wheel, can we actually get it to be more likely to land on a perk than coins? I have 100k+ coins with nothing to spend it on and when I’m deep into levels I’d rather get something that will help me pass the following level like double crit, heal, or something other than 300 measly coins. Healing, when I clear a boss level like ones on World 7 with no damage taken and receive health could we get an over charge meter or something? I feel like that health is just wasted and there’s times when going into the following boss you take much more damage than the previous one. For example, the spiders/skulls heal you after destroying the first big one or next 2 medium ones but in reality all the damage is taken once the small ones are running around super fast but when you kill those you don’t receive health. Next, allow us to destroy weapons, rings, etc for scrolls I’ve received 2 Epic swords but can’t do anything with both so I’d much rather be able to destroy one to level up the other. Lastly, please allow us to see what perks/abilities we have when selecting a new perk as well as a percentage increase, there’s been multiple times where I’m unsure of what I’ve upgraded when I’m 45 waves deep and about 15 perks added on and idk whether to decide on attack or speed and what percentage increase will be better. Those are the major “flaws” I see with the game, besides that I’ve dropped around $25-$27 on the game, one of the most addictive mobile games I’ve played in years!
I love this game everything down to the gear upgrading and the amount of stats that go into your character, I could go on and on about everything I like but I want to give some ideas. I have been buying the battle pass recently and maybe you should make it to where you go up in tiers based on challenge completions or if you advance to new level it should advance your tier. This would get rid of the repetitive wave modes we abuse over and over to get the kills and give the game more ingredients instead of us just fighting the same room over and over. You could also add a mythical or dark matter color to weapons witch would require 3 golds to fuse. This would be cool and insane if someone had one I’m sure you know how hard it would be to get. Pets should be outlined like your character to reduce confusion between monsters. There could also be a exchange shop for items you don’t want for advanced players that already know there layout. You could exchange items you don’t want for weapons scrolls, coins, etc. This could create players with different layouts and push them to upgrade what they like instead of them getting 1 blue weapon after the next wishing they’d could get a drop of the same weapon. This means they can exchange what they didn’t like in turn for some coins or scrolls to upgrade what they like and hope for a better drop next time. This game can be expanded in millions of ways and I’m already in love, all I can hope for is you find these recommendations inspiring and use them to create more content. ❤️
I’ve been playing this game for nearly a year and I enjoy the difficulty of this game, its nothing like I’ve played before, although the reward for completing a difficult stage/world doesn’t match up. And the chances of getting a actually decent item in the shop are pretty low. Enhancing a weapon or armor you have is a nice feature but its so rare to get three of the same item that I only do it on worthless common items. This game is only good for those who are determined enough to continue but if the player doesn’t get anything good even after playing for months, it’s easy to loose determination. I only have one purple/epic item and it took me months to get it, just imagine how long it would take to get a legendary. As I said before I do like the difficulty but perhaps it should go easier on beginners, maybe like a difficulty option and depending on the difficulty effects what loot you will likely get. I’m totally fine with the ads since this game has to earn money somehow and I like how it’s optional. The skills in this game are fine but some of them are completely copies of others, like dark arrow and holy arrow. In conclusion I’d like to summarize all I said…Difficulty should be optional to change, the rewards you get from worlds/expeditions is far to low considering the difficulty is incredibly hard, ads are fine, the skills are ok but maybe needs more helpful ones.
This game is highly entertaining. I enjoy finding loot and the fusion system is great. However, finding loot in the game is a rare experience and usually results in a common piece of gear. The diversity of gear is also very limited. It would be great to acquire new gear at a faster rate. There needs to be a balance between how much I’m grinding and finding new gear. The treasure chest system is ok the wait for the high quality chest is a bit extreme and after all the wait I still have to watch an ad? The in game leveling system is a nice touch it’s adds an extra challenge to the game. I find that some of the perks are absolutely useless or under powered. There are a handful of perks that are great and actually give you an edge in game. The level system for the character has become frustrating. At a certain point in the game you have to completely level up before rolling for a new skill. I am at level 36 and quickly losing interest in the game. I feel like I’m just constantly grinding to try and level up. It’s a bit ridiculous. Also at this point in the game money becomes useless and gems are hard to come by. Please address the leveling system and make the game more entertaining. I want to progress and earn it but I don’t want to play the same level 90 times just to level up. Also, the random perk selection is highly disappointing. I shouldn’t be grinding just to get a perk that is useless. This game is so close to being 5 stars. Please address these issues and make your game awesome!
Can you make it so certain enemies in the game such as the dogs and the ghosts that throw the fire bombs, the three at a time ones, can you make it so that they don’t throw them as frequently? Literally, I was stuck on stage 36 or 37 or something like that for a few days now and then I finally went past it and got to stage 49 of chapter I believe it’s 15 or 16, like I said the dogs and the fire ghosts that throw the bombs the three at a time and the frequency that bosses are able to do that charge at you that is very difficult to dodge, I have died so many times, I’m not saying make the level easier, All I’m saying is make a longer cool down on certain attacks that the bosses and certain other enemies do. Also another thing(I have every single piece of purple advanced gear I think except for one piece of equipment, I do 8300 something damage, I go into one of the levels and I’m destroying the enemies and then I go into another level of the same dungeon, and before when it would take five hits to kill an enemy with critical hits included now it takes like triple that, even when my critical hits are still activating) look I’ve had this game for quite a while already and I have spent no real money in this game, everything I have I have gotten through playing the game, my 23,000 gems, I have got by playing the game naturally, all I’m saying is make it a little bit easier for people who naturally play the game versus people who buy their way to the top. (( I really hope the developer of the game sees this and not one of their people that they normally have commenting to these ))
Found this game through an ad playing another mobile game and it looked extremely fun. Decided to give it a try as I usually do with games from ads. And this game is a ton of fun. My only complaint is how ridiculously pay to win the game becomes after reaching around chapter 3-4. The grind is insane to get good gear and basically impossible without sinking hundreds of dollars into the game. Just glancing at the store it is apparent how much this game is pay to win. There is not one but TWO battle passes and a vip subscription on top of that. And of course this is all on top of usual payments like gems. There is also chapter bonus packs and they are for each chapter and go up in price. I’m currently at chapter 7 and that pack is $20. There are 38 chapters currently so I don’t even want to think how much those packs cost. Unlocking characters also costs money, and it is not cheap. And the grind is pretty much built around you purchasing these packs, vip bonus, and the battle pass which makes free to playing this game a nightmare. I haven’t spent a penny on this game and I don’t plan on it, so hopefully I can still find enjoyment in this game in another week or so. With this being said I would still try out the game. It is very fun and really interesting, even when rng isn’t on your side. Hopefully the devs balance out the game a bit more to cater more towards free to play instead of pay to win, with paying adding an additional bonus instead of feeling like the only way you can play after a certain point. Definitely one of my favorite mobile games I’ve found and I would recommend anyone to trying it out.
This game was a lot of fun until you hit stage 7. It’s a world full of just boss after boss and is completely ridiculous. I have spent about 50 bucks on this game and still cannot pass world 7 with full purple gear and fused purple bow as well. This game is so addicting either way trying to get further and further. The energy is a big problem for this game. No way to level up your max energy or anything. Never played a game that didn’t want people to play the game for long. This game is completely beaten by rng and not skill or paying to win. Getting the right combos of skills while going through all of the many skills that are completely useless is the key to any good run. You basically just keep trying the level until you can get the right skills. They need huge rebalancing. They also need an endless mode so that when you get a good build it doesn’t end as soon as your done with the world it would be fun to just mess around with all the skills and see how far you could go. Hopefully this helps someone who is looking at this game. It is very Grindy but gives a very rewarding feeling when finally beating a level you have been stuck on. Overall I would recommend playing this game and hope that there are some better updates soon! Update: still on stage 7, full purple gear, all items over level 35. Chest level 40 and weapon level 42. I myself am level 50 and no end in sight with beating this stage. Just ridiculous it needs to be nerfed that’s for sure the last boss is just ridiculous the rest are fine. But having 50 things to dodge on the screen at all times and they hit 1400 it’s crazy
I’ve been playing since release. Spent a little money on it, and a lot of time... they keep adding too many confusing and pointless layers to the game, and it’s just getting too complex and tedious. You’re not rewarded for practicing, and it takes too long to level and grow your gear. Don’t waste your time and please DO NOT waste your money. As soon as you upgrade an item or some gear, they add new stuff to the game that takes months and years to upgrade, or MONEY if you want to speed the process up (and it’s all random/luck). The mechanics in this game are awful, it doesn’t matter how much you grind or how good your gear gets, mobs always hit for proportionally the same amount of your total hit bar, and your attacks hit for the same %... it’s the same game over and over again no matter how high your get or how good your gear gets, the experience doesn’t change and it will leave you feeling tricked and cheated by the developers. They need to add more ways for new players and players in general get gear and upgrade their items, not add new and better items that you can’t obtain or upgrade without spending money to do so. Video games, especially mobile games, are such a joke and are absolute robbery. If this was a complete game with fair mechanics and content updates, I’d happily pay $40 for it plus a battle pass, but if you want the “full” experience and the best gear, you’d have to spend $1000 at least to get your gear leveled up.
