Our Expert Score

88/100

Bullet Echo is a masterclass in tension and tactical awareness. Unlike your typical run-and-gun mobile shooters, this game forces you to rely on your ears as much as your eyes. The 'stealth-action' approach is brilliant; you only see what your flashlight illuminates, leaving the rest of the map in a terrifying fog of war where every footstep counts.

The roster of heroes is impressively balanced, each bringing a unique tactical layer to team play. Whether you're playing as a tanky Bastion or a nimble Stalker, the game rewards patience and positioning over twitch reflexes. The matches are bite-sized, perfect for mobile, yet they pack enough strategic depth to keep you coming back for 'just one more round.' It’s easily one of the most innovative PvP experiences on the App Store right now.

Fun game

Bull echo is without a doubt a pretty fun and addictive game. Starter tips would definitely be for new players to leave some ammo for the friends that only have a basic pistol or shotgun you can help by tapping on the crates if you find ammo before your friends to ping them also make sure to check your corners. In the game I advise for you to not play the character your best at but the play the character you like to play practice with them and find strategies to help you win with them. The game ranks people buy trophies you get trophies by winning you also lose trophies by losing the main way to get trophies is just by doing better than most of the teams in a match with the trophies if you win a lot of battles but just don’t have the experience of other players then you probably won’t have as many upgrades and will get a lot harder later on. This game can make people pretty mad if you get a bad spawn turn a corner into an enemy with a shotgun or get sniped from somebody you didn’t even see. Make sure you take part in the events events are pretty easy way to get gear and gear literally only boost your stats you’re also probably going to want to invite friends who you had a good time with in the game most of the time randoms can be pretty bad in a higher levels so having a good team is crucial when you get a team you’ll have more fun. But anyway see you on the battle field good luck and have fun.

My Favorite Phone Game Ive Ever Gotten
Fri Jul 18 2025 CeoJT33

I normally never play games on the phone because there boring or dont keep you interested for too long, and they burn out. but i was bored one day about 6-8 months ago and wanted to play a game. i scrolled through and watched a bunch of the trailers for the games and i was looking for a while. i came across this game and tbh it looked pretty dope and i was very interested. i downloaded and started playing. it takes a little bit to kick off because you start low but once you start getting more people leveled up, then the fun really begins with all the different gear and different characters having different abilities and different guns. then they introduced the drones and and so on an so fourth to the coils you can now get to customize your guns to your liking. this is an absolutely addicting game and i play it for hours sometimes. theres a lot of game modes. BUT thats the only thing i dont like about the game. is that the game modes close after a certain amount of time and cant be played again for hours and some even days. i think they should either be available the whole time or close them for about 3hrs and open them back up. ANYWAY…. to wrap this up. its an amazing game and they are always adding new things to the game and making it more fun and playing fir new goals and upgrades. just get it and try it. great game!!!

Honestly…

Heyo! For those of you who are just curious if the game is good; yes it is. For those of you asking if this game is worth playing it; it’s alright. While the concept and gameplay is AMAZEBALLS, the queueing is a bit of a downer, ranging from 10-60+ seconds. The overall gameplay is pretty cool, this game concept has LOTS of potential in my opinion. Something I want to point out is the extreme tactical skills needed. At first I didn’t think it was needed BUT when you’re the last survivor against the last team… you gotta position yourself pretty well(clutches). Some things I think that could be added are maybe bigger maps and new game modes. Bigger maps means more people, and much more intense gameplay! New modes, I was thinking something along the lines of a zombie survival concept similar a game called SAS(I don’t recall what the acronym meant), or maybe larger squads, or maybe a campaign or of the sort. There should definitely be an infected mode. I think the quick chat options are a little… bland. It feel irritating not being able to communicate with your team, especially with just simple things like “retreat” or “stay alert” and the most common “stay close” As a casual player, this is all I have to say, but as someone who intends to keep playing, I truly hope for more development and wish to express my gratitude for this game’s development. I have hopes of seeing more game releases similar to this concept and much more. Thanks a bunch!

I absolutely love this game but in recent weeks I think the developers are getting greedy. Things that cost one price two weeks ago cost waaaaayyyyyyy more. Now I get this game has in app purchase and in game currency, yada yada. But two weeks ago the same promo they are running today only cost 60 in game bucks now cost 700. Same goes for the new mimicry event. When it started it had reasonable prices to get bonus rewards while playing. The upgrade cost $20. This week they had two choices, $50 and $100. Now keep in mind that the three day event only actually is playable for two days. The third day doesn’t allow play and all you can do is claim rewards. Bargain huh. After I got screwed out of my money before discovering this duplicitous act they had also changed the reward structure for the event when starting prices were 10 coins then 20 then 30, etc. Now it’s like 34 then 68 then 101. This completely eliminates free players from ever earning a single reward because you must also purchase entry tickets beyond the 10 free you get every 24 hours. Last I checked is was 2 for $15. Wow another bargain. And don’t get me started on the new character specific gear that can only be obtained through paying in some form or another and the cost is a joke. Someone needs to teach them economics 101. Since this is all digital it costs you nothing, but lower the prices and make it more accessible to many more people. This generates buzz which generates more traffic and revenue. The only reason I grave it four stars is I do love PLAYING this game, just not always pay it.

Honest Review

Overall a fun game and as others have stated, has a somewhat unique gameplay feel. It’s clear from the start that you play a lot of bots rather than pvp, part of the reason I only give it four stars, it can change from game to game but this could be due to the smaller gaming base so looking forward to continued improvements. Another issue I have is you continue to spawn in the same exact spots for king of the hill. No matter what rank I am the spawn won’t change which furthers my belief that we are playing with a.i. players in at the very least the king of the hill game mode. Beyond that ads are nonexistent except for extra rewards which is a huge positive in my book, there are also no locks, no energy system, nothing that holds you back on how often you can play and gain XP which is once again reason enough to give a four star review. Characters are unique, abilities are fairly unique, grenades are a little over powered as I’ve been downed through a wall on a grenade, and timing/cooldown for actions seems to be relatively on par with what I’d expect in gameplay, I have had the issue numerous times being in a gunfight and my character stopping to “pick up” an item rather than continuing to fire at the enemy, which I’ve just balanced by avoiding ground items when tracking or battling but is more difficult in gunfights in the center of the map. Overall good game hoping more updates come including more maps and hopefully more pvp gameplay! Continuing to advance game modes and events will keep me playing, appreciate the effort from the game developers thanks!

Great game, major matchmaking issues
Sun Jul 25 2021 Flyingpigg1

This game is fun to play and holds a lot of potential, but sadly it all goes to waste due to matchmaking issues. Early on the matchmaking is well-balanced and the game is enjoyable; however, once you hit about 5.1k trophies the matchmaking becomes consistently horrible—probably the worst of any game you’ll ever play. Nearly all of your games contain teams of players 10 to 20 times your level with fully maxed heroes and equipment, and to top it off gameplay is dominated by clans of these maxed-out players who can carefully coordinate their attack. Meanwhile, your team usually consists of f2p players who can’t counter the opponents’ levels and upgrades. You’re extremely lucky if even 1/3 of your games vaguely resemble a fair fight. Sometimes, to “fix” the trophy difference between teams, useless bots with high trophy counts are placed on your team. Most players have lost quite a few games due to their bot teammates. The worst part is, the devs don’t care about the players. The matchmaking issue was brought up to the devs before, and they literally told players to just “deal with it”. Players have also noticed that some people need different amounts of hero cards to upgrade their heroes, and the devs told them that they intentionally made the card requirement different for different players. The developers just throw fairness out the window and don’t even act like they care, ruining an otherwise great game.

Great potential but…

Bullet Echo is a blast to play overall. Quick matches mean you can squeeze 3 or 4 rounds in quickly on a lunch break, & the line of sight mechanic is very cool. That being said, this game is EXTREMELY pay to win, which is why I just uninstalled it. All of the strategy and teamwork in the world don’t mean a thing when your entire team is wiped in seconds by a single player who’s much higher level and has better gear. Even getting the drop on such players doesn’t help, as you can’t deal enough damage to kill them before they just turn a 180 & zero you in a couple of shots. It takes forever to level heroes too, who don’t get a single ability unlocked until after level 10, unless you’re willing to pay. The resources needed to level heroes also trickle out very slowly, with the in game store popping up constantly to prompt you to speed things up by spending more. To the Devs: You guys have built an excellent game overall, but you won’t retain players when all of the newbies get slaughtered in every match by people playing with their credit cards instead. Take out the leveling systems, maybe retain gear, but make it’s benefits largely negligible. Give heroes their full abilities from the start, or at least make it easier to level them, & level them through play only. People love skins, focus on making new characters and a ton of different skins for them to monetize this differently maybe. Or even leave some heroes locked behind a paywall, but the current system is largely unsustainable as far as I can see it, and will not retain a player base.

Incredible gameplay, although a few major issues.

This game is very fun, unique, and addicting, although there are a few frustrating elements regarding some of the heroes within the game, along with some other, more troublesome, matchmaking issues. Some of the heroes in the game are overwhelming strong, to the point where being silent doesn’t seem to be of concern to them. Characters such as Raven do not have the damage output required to take about nearly any of the heavy units, even when attacking from behind, while sniper and shotgun units can almost always kill a Raven or even a Stalker in one single shot. Although I find this quite annoying, this wouldn’t be such an inconvenience if not for the matchmaking. The main issue is that I have been being matched up against people who are multiple ranks above me, with heroes I cannot access, and upgrades I cannot counter. This has been a problem not much time after I began playing this game with my friends. The fact that I must fight overpowered characters whom I cannot even use myself is just annoying. Besides this lack of balancing and matchmaking issues, this game is otherwise incredible. The graphics are unique, the gameplay is refreshing, characters are diverse and skill is necessary. I am really looking forward to watching this game expand, as I will be be playing it quite often with my friends during these hard times.
