World Conqueror 1945 is a standout title for fans of grand strategy who want a deep experience without the overwhelming complexity of PC-based wargames. The game successfully distills the global conflict of WWII into a turn-based hex system that feels both tactical and accessible. You aren't just moving tanks; you're managing a delicate balance of resource production, technological research, and diplomatic posturing. The 'Conquest' mode is particularly addictive, allowing you to pick almost any nation and attempt to rewrite history on a massive world map.
Technically, the game is polished with a clean interface that respects the player's intelligence. The AI provides a genuine challenge, especially in the later stages of a campaign where resource management becomes critical. While the graphics are functional rather than flashy, they serve the purpose of clear communication on a mobile screen. My only real gripe is that some of the smaller nations feel a bit generic, but the core gameplay loop of 'just one more turn' is executed perfectly. It’s a must-play for history buffs and armchair generals alike.
27 different nations and 300+ territories
Authentic military units and medals
Researchable tech tree for advanced weaponry
Military Career and World Conquest modes
Prioritize capturing cities with high industrial output early in the game. Without a steady stream of resources, you won't be able to replace your front-line units or research the advanced tech needed to break late-game stalemates.
Movement and combat take place on a hexagonal grid. Terrain modifiers apply, so keep your tanks in the plains and your infantry in the mountains for maximum defensive bonuses.
Yes, players can build and command submarines, destroyers, and aircraft carriers to control the seas.
Easy inc. This is definitely the best game you've made out of the others like it. I would really like to see you make your future games more like this, it seems much easier to control everything and I really enjoy how all of the cards and things to purchase do not look cartoonish but more realistic unlike the games after this.
While I enjoy this game, and others like it (which is why I have given it 3) I have noticed some irregularities. Among these irregularities is the 48 Turns (both attacking and defending) equalling 96 consecutive Rounds of Complete losses by various unit types vs. various unit types, in various campaigns. These losses continued with all available bonuses applied to the units while attacking and defending. There were also 17 Consecutive Rounds of '1' being rolled on an 8 sided Die during Air Strikes which (given it's truly staggering unlikelihood) should not realistically happen. The counting of these failed rounds, turns, ect. started after noticing the an ongoing trend, meaning this is an issue with the Random Number Generator. The other option is the complimenting of the AI by ensuring more favorable rolls. This issue should be addressed.
Worth the cheap price. Took me a little while to figure out, but i'm enjoying it. Each tile can only hold one kind of unit, which means alllies, and even your own forces, can frequently cause frustrating roadblocks. It actually makes it easier to play the axis side, which is a bit dubious. Also, you can attack your allies and neutral countries with no obvious penalties. But if you just avoid doing so for reasons of good sportsmanship, it is possible to maintain the thin illusioon that this has some connection to ww2. Obviously could be much richer, but sufficiently complex to kill lots of hours!
This game is one of my favorites, I've had it for a long time and I really like it. I gave this a 4 star because this game needs a multiplayer. This would make the game 10x better. Please add multiplayer. I think everyone will agree that this app needs multiplayer, the game is simple and fun to play and I have been wanting multiplayer for a long time, I don't know how hard it is to add it but if/when it happens this app will be definitely a 5 star
I'm hooked on this game. This game is so simple to use and You do not need an introduction. The only thing I do mot like is that in campaigns it gives you an option to attack you allies, why? In conquest allies country will say fail when you take the land(conquest?)?Other than that its a must buy.
The game is awesome but there is some potential for some levels I thought of like in invasion of Canada by the US in 35 that never happened and a level for the invasion of Britain by the axis and needs to have 2 or more troops on one space and a multiplayer mode and I and a cool thing I thought of maybe a diplomacy page? Where you can make pacts with the countries in conquest
I have bought European wars 1, 2, + 3 and I liked those, however I wanted a more realistic game and I found it! If anybody is confused on whether to buy European war or World Conquest, I would buy this first. However we should be able to declare war and make peace in conquest.
I just updated my phone and when I go to the app in the App Store it say the developer needs to update it so it can be played on iOS 11 please update the game so it can be played on it really love this game and would like to play it again
