Optimized and adjusted current levels for smoother experience.
Plus, even though I will give it a five, but if there was like six, I think I would only give a 5 1/2 but only because it cheated me and I totally won fair and square on another one and I think this is pretty easy Especially for five-year-old but I do love this game But they need to make it more challenging like where you have a storyline between the cat and the dragon because then maybe it would give us more theories like with the amazing digital circus that would totally be really cool like you have to like build your own town with those kinds of characters not just ones like Pomni and Jax but only just for the fun of it, but it would be more of like that Disney Kingdom game a little bit but only because I think that would be like way more fun like with these kinds of games
The mechanics of the game are super fun and it’s enjoyable to play, but I don’t know why all of these types of games have to have this weird cartoonish torture p*rn aspect where if you don’t win in time, the dragon burns a kitten or woman alive?! It would be much more fun if you just hit a wall and it said ‘you lost’ and then you start over. It makes no sense why this game and all the dupes of this game have some obnoxious cartoon violence, especially when it’s a game that kids play. I’m not a prude of against violence in all video games, but this just seems creepy and unnecessary. I really hope the developers could at least make an option so that you could turn off the part where if you lose, it skips the whole kitten burning part. I understand it’s not real but I play this game to relax and it’s just an unnecessary thing to include in otherwise fun game. So if the developers ever respond or add an option to turn that part off, then it would be easily a four or five star game but when the only option is to slowly burn up a crying cartoon kitten alive when you don’t hit the right color blocks in time, then I’m keeping it at two stars.
The game itself was extremely fun. I really enjoyed playing and miss having it on my phone. My issue was the content of the ads. I understand the need for ads and the ability to pay for ads to be removed, that’s not the problem. The problem is the ads started out fine but then started to be the ones where the person tells a scantily clad woman what to do and it is playing out inappropriate themes. I don’t want my children seeing that and for people who have survived abuse those things are extremely triggering and don’t belong in between levels of a game like this. I deleted and gave it a couple days and reinstalled and they were still there. I do not get these types of ads on my other games by the way, and I certainly have seen my fair share of ads on games! Anyway, I’ll maybe try again in the future and if the ad free price was less expensive I would pay it now and play because it really is a fun game. I’m just not going to have it installed until the content of the ads is a bit more appropriate for all audiences.
This game is good and entertaining. Those that say it’s too fast and gives you anxiety then it’s not for you. I’m on level 70. I have managed not to see ads if I don’t have to. The system will make you see ads if it’s too close to move the dragon further but I have been able to decline and coordinate my colors. The time I have seen ads is after every level or if I have no choice to add another roll because I can’t get to the color I need. My brain is used to being active and high functioning at work maybe this is why this game is easy for me. Just a tip; coordinate your colors from the back of the dragon not what is in front of you, that way you can kick the dragon back further😜
If you advertise on other games claiming your game does not require wifi (therefore data) and has no ads, but does have ads, often worse than in other games, then you are false advertising. Also, if you purchase an extra slot for yarn spools with coins, it is only good for that level. In other games an upgrade purchased is an upgrade you keep! Playing with just four slots is too few, so you’re forced to watch ads to buy each extra slot so the game becomes winnable. It’s pay to even be able to win. The worst is when you fail a level and you have the option to watch an ad to continue without losing progress in that level, you refuse (you must deny it twice), and because you opted not to watch an ad to continue, it plays a forced ad, and you don’t continue. So it was watch an ad or watch an ad… a real false choice! If you’re going to force the ad, give me the reward.
I appreciate thus game is as advertised but it is so difficult to beat the levels. It’s almost as if they made each one as difficult as they possibly can where it can technically be completed without watching an add or purchasing coins but you get so frustrated you do so anyway. I’m not new to games like this and I am stuck on level 8 going on my 4th or 5th attempt. This isn’t the first level that’s taken me multiple tries to. I chalked it up to learning the feel and pattern of this particular game, but it’s not intuitive like that either. Unfortunately for me I’m too stubborn to just give up because I like the concept. It’s definitely one I’ll open if I want so,thing more challenging going for sure Oh also, when you continue to the next level it just starts automatically. Really frustrating if your attention is turned elsewhere when you navigate in between the levels.
I’ve been enjoying the game, it’s faster paced than most games similar to this because your on a time limit with the dragon moving. Each level the blocks and layout are a static color set, but the dragon seems to be completely randomized in colors. When you fail a level and start it again the blocks and layout are the same as before the dragon will be in a different color order. This randomization makes it so the dragon will occasionally start with colors that you have don’t have immediate access to (they are in the middle or end of lines that you have to move a ton of other blocks before reaching). In order to beat these levels you either have to watch a ton of ads to get power ups and extra slots or be very patient and eventually get a dragon that will be solvalable for the current layout.
I’m not downloading Gossip Harbor! I’m not doing it! You can spam all you want but when your game starts cheating to push this super weird depressing game about fake tragedies involving little kids every chance it gets; it’s gotten your game deleted. I recommend prioritizing your own game and possibly finding a different ad generating system. When an ad is disturbing but keeps being forced anyway; that will drive away a customer. Well… this customer anyway. I have no issue with ads for support! This was just ridiculous how much this other game is pushed and it’s across multiple games right now. I watched the red spool sit up in the corner and not unravel. It was in a spot that had unraveled the previous time a color was there. This was about the 5th time the game had made me choose between an ad or starting over. Which I never chose ad because I knew you’d drop Gossip Harbor for the 900th time but I know what I saw and this was bogus! What a shame! I liked this game too. I read about 20 of your reviews and a lot of them over the course of at least a few months say this game is fun but a cash grab. They tell you the ad content is offensive and disturbing and described the same awful game I complained about!!! Even expressed also deleting the game because of it! This shows genuine lack of care for customer concern!
