Wool Crush Escape: Traffic Jam reinvents the classic escape puzzle with a cozy, tactile twist. Instead of cold metal cars, players navigate soft, colorful wool balls through increasingly complex gridlocked scenarios. The game features hundreds of hand-crafted levels that test your spatial awareness and logic. With its vibrant art style and satisfying 'squish' physics, it offers a relaxing yet mentally stimulating experience for players of all ages.

78/100

Wool Crush Escape: Traffic Jam is a surprisingly tactile entry into the crowded 'jam' puzzle genre. While most games in this category focus on cars or blocks, the use of fluffy wool balls adds a distinct visual and sensory appeal. The physics of the wool felt unique—there's a slight 'squish' factor when navigating tight corners that makes the movement feel more organic than a standard sliding puzzle.

The progression is well-paced. Early levels serve as a relaxing introduction to the mechanics, but as you move deeper, the 'traffic' becomes a genuine brain-teaser. You have to think several moves ahead to ensure the right colors are cleared in the correct order. My only real gripe is that the ad frequency can occasionally break the 'zen' flow of the game, but for a free-to-play title, the level of polish in the animations and the satisfaction of a clean 'escape' make it worth the download for puzzle fans.

Plus, even though I will give it a five, but if there was like six, I think I would only give a 5 1/2 but only because it cheated me and I totally won fair and square on another one and I think this is pretty easy Especially for five-year-old but I do love this game But they need to make it more challenging like where you have a storyline between the cat and the dragon because then maybe it would give us more theories like with the amazing digital circus that would totally be really cool like you have to like build your own town with those kinds of characters not just ones like Pomni and Jax but only just for the fun of it, but it would be more of like that Disney Kingdom game a little bit but only because I think that would be like way more fun like with these kinds of games

Fun game except creepy unnecessary violence

The mechanics of the game are super fun and it’s enjoyable to play, but I don’t know why all of these types of games have to have this weird cartoonish torture p*rn aspect where if you don’t win in time, the dragon burns a kitten or woman alive?! It would be much more fun if you just hit a wall and it said ‘you lost’ and then you start over. It makes no sense why this game and all the dupes of this game have some obnoxious cartoon violence, especially when it’s a game that kids play. I’m not a prude of against violence in all video games, but this just seems creepy and unnecessary. I really hope the developers could at least make an option so that you could turn off the part where if you lose, it skips the whole kitten burning part. I understand it’s not real but I play this game to relax and it’s just an unnecessary thing to include in otherwise fun game. So if the developers ever respond or add an option to turn that part off, then it would be easily a four or five star game but when the only option is to slowly burn up a crying cartoon kitten alive when you don’t hit the right color blocks in time, then I’m keeping it at two stars.

Really fun game, one issue

The game itself was extremely fun. I really enjoyed playing and miss having it on my phone. My issue was the content of the ads. I understand the need for ads and the ability to pay for ads to be removed, that’s not the problem. The problem is the ads started out fine but then started to be the ones where the person tells a scantily clad woman what to do and it is playing out inappropriate themes. I don’t want my children seeing that and for people who have survived abuse those things are extremely triggering and don’t belong in between levels of a game like this. I deleted and gave it a couple days and reinstalled and they were still there. I do not get these types of ads on my other games by the way, and I certainly have seen my fair share of ads on games! Anyway, I’ll maybe try again in the future and if the ad free price was less expensive I would pay it now and play because it really is a fun game. I’m just not going to have it installed until the content of the ads is a bit more appropriate for all audiences.

Not bad

The game is fun. The ads dont do it justice. In the ad, the person keeps picking colors that are stuck and the dragon just keeps moving forward until he reaches the cat… But in actual game play, its actually harder than it looks. The dragon moves faster than in the ad and its super easy to make a mistake. If had to start a level over so many times! Usually, it makes me angry. In gameplay, when i have to start a level over, i usually feel like its because of the game itself. They make it to where you CANT pass the level in the first couple of tries and slap on a hard sticker to sell the fact that they dont give you the moves that you need. But in this game, thats not the case, the majority of your moves are right there, you just have to be fast and multitask. See HOW MANY of those colors are on the dragon and pick the right size. Its a puzzle that requires strategy, quick whit, and common sense. Its hard af some levels but it feels so rewarding when you win. Like you actually did something. (Just dont use the amplifier. It cheapens the game. Any color you put up will bring the dragon back even if you dont see that color on the screen yet. And its timed. Its like a timed wild card that you can use countless times in that time frame… it makes it WAY to easy and makes you bored FAST) the other advantages help without winning you the game automatically. Needless to say, i love the game. I just wish the dragon move A LITTLE BIT slower.

Addictive game

Love this app. The best part is that it doesn’t get to a point where it’s so difficult it’s forcing you to pay. It’s fairly easy to collect coins and I do sometimes need to use the coins or watch ads to pass a level but not a force to spend actual money. I also like that ads play after a level or when you opt for them so it doesn’t interrupt the game. It would be significantly better if there was a way to mute the ads as a whole. Why would I mute the game but want the ads to make noise? I play on an iPad and having to turn it down and remember to turn it back up after playing is extremely annoying and causes me to miss FT calls. Also interrupts music. Crazy thing is, I download games from ads often which is why I like interactive ads (how I found this one) but the ones that force audio aggravate me and I immediately don’t want the game. Not sure why they do this.

Adds Distract From Adorable Game

I will usually spend money for a one time (life time) add removal, but it has a disclaimer that this add removal will only remove “forced interstitial adds and bottom banner adds but keep optional adds for game rewards”, so I’ve been playing as is. The game is impossible to play without adding the additional slots, which you have to watch an add for each slot, of which there are up to three additional slots. There are also power-ups offered throughout the game to assist in winning, you can spend coin or watch an add. The adds are not short either. It is so bad that by the time I come back to the game I have often forgotten what color or objective I was in the middle of working on. With a game that is so time crunch oriented requiring quick decision making this absolutely ruins the game, loosing all satisfaction and creating more frustration vs fun. Adds at the beginning or end of a game is one thing, but mid game play is brutal and annoying. Don’t waste your time or money. Such a shame. Cute game.

Ad generator masquerading as a game
Sat Feb 07 2026 Little Baby Seamus

WATCH OUT FOR SCAM POPUPS. They’ve now been reported. This isn’t a game, it’s an ad generator. Want to watch an ad that’s five seconds long but in a repeat loop that you can’t mute or stop for over 90 seconds? This game is for you!!!! Win a game and earn spins? Only if you watch three commercials in a row! How fun!!!! Win a game, guess what… That’s right you win an ad. So if you don’t watch the ad after you’ve completed and won the game, then you don’t get credit for it, cool!!! Then there are ads just to make it playable DURING the game. Creepy crawling little ghost positioned in front of the only two pieces you need to move to win the game? That’s right you may have to watch 90 second ads 10 times just to move those final two pieces! Awesome! All in all this is a game that you put on your phone so you can see how many ads you’re capable of tolerating. You can’t even purchase it without ads. So it’s pretty stupid all around.

Barely above one star due to ads
Thu Jan 22 2026 notTom

If you advertise on other games claiming your game does not require wifi (therefore data) and has no ads, but does have ads, often worse than in other games, then you are false advertising. Also, if you purchase an extra slot for yarn spools with coins, it is only good for that level. In other games an upgrade purchased is an upgrade you keep! Playing with just four slots is too few, so you’re forced to watch ads to buy each extra slot so the game becomes winnable. It’s pay to even be able to win. The worst is when you fail a level and you have the option to watch an ad to continue without losing progress in that level, you refuse (you must deny it twice), and because you opted not to watch an ad to continue, it plays a forced ad, and you don’t continue. So it was watch an ad or watch an ad… a real false choice! If you’re going to force the ad, give me the reward.
