Great app but with a catch
Sun Nov 24 2024 NED DadoThis app is beautifully designed and initially seems well-maintained, but it’s misclassified as an entertainment app when it should clearly be labeled as a gambling app. It’s deliberately built to create an addiction, pushing users to continually purchase diamonds, gold, and other in-game resources. As you progress to higher levels, you face increasingly difficult opponents who have the same tanks but are heavily customized, which compels you to spend even more money on gold and diamonds. Let’s be clear: about 99% of your progress hinges on making purchases within the app. This is not entertainment; it’s pure pay-to-play, akin to slot machines that serve only the developers’ profit motives. This app is not suitable for individuals under 21, especially given its addictive nature and sophisticated design aimed at hooking users. The clan and server structures are similarly manipulative, encouraging further spending. It’s overpriced and overrated, and it should not be considered a top free game. This is a gambling platform disguised as a game, lacking appropriate parental guidance. Additionally, the chat feature can expose users to unsavory individuals, making it an unsafe environment. Overall, this app falls far short of being a good app and should be treated with caution.
Great game, $ hungry company
Tue Sep 18 2018 a-a-ron1579The actual game is phenomenal. I would have given 5 stars if the company wasn’t so money hungry to not make it fun. I am all for companies trying to make money on a game they’ve developed but to strategically gear your game around making your customer base spend money in order to advance in the game to an unrealistic level is ridiculous. I mean EVERYTHING is taken into account to make you spend money. Example 1, it’s easy to spend coins on upgrades since gain a lot of coins through battles. The catch is when spend coins on upgrades then put a ridiculous time amount (sometimes 18 hours) before you can claim it or you can “claim” right now for 75 diamonds. They are banking on the player not wanting to wait 18 hours and spending money on the diamonds. 80% of the game runs on diamonds and diamonds cost money. Example 2, they allow you to gain “free diamonds” by watching a video. Say you need to watch 3 videos in order to play a battle. They will purposely allow you to watch two videos and then claim there’s no more videos to watch. Hmmm weird. No more free videos just literally right before I need to watch one more video? Example 3, they will keep upping the price for ammo, power ups etc. that is just out of your reach in regards to how much you have in the “bank”. So if you have 25 diamonds they will charge 30 diamonds to get high explosive ammo. Next day it’s only 10 diamonds. Totally geared around you needing to spend money to progress in the game
What Do You Get For The Money?
Thu Oct 29 2020 fivepicksLet me start by saying this game is fun. Let me finish by saying that this game is frustrating. We all know what we consider fun. Let me tell you what I consider frustrating. 1) The developers of this game don’t respond to frequently occurring issues like players not being able to connect into the game. Their response? It must be your internet. BS. We have chat rooms in which our clans chat...all have the same problem...can’t connect into the game. Why is this an issue? Because despite the claim that this is a free game...it most certainly is not. We purchase items that have limited time use. When servers are down the clock continues and our purchase is wasted. This happens FREQUENTLY. 2) Glitches within the game...twitchy aim, shots missing despite point range, spawn within a building, and many more. 3) Response to complaints go unanswered for weeks and sometimes never. I myself have 2 unanswered complaints that are close to a month old. I could go on and on but it wouldn’t matter. What matters is that the developers of this game have no respect for the paying customers. I have one simple expectation...I should get what I pay for. Here, sadly, I don’t.
Greedy Developers
Sat Oct 02 2021 IlyanananaReally fun game when you start out but once you reach certain ranks you start to face off against opponents with stronger tanks and using customization. You are forced to purchase coins/diamonds in order to buy a stronger tank, upgrades or customization. Trying to collect coins/diamonds is not going to cut it when upgrades cost so much. In order to be competitive at all you have to run customization on your tank or you will be lucky to obtain a couple of kills. I have a strong tank but if I don’t spend 2200+ diamonds for 5 days of customization I will be killed easily by opponents. Just no way to compete. And of course purchases are extremely expensive. You will spend several hundred dollars if not thousands if you get addicted to the game and want to compete. And of course as you progress in rank to the general level you start to face opponents that are superior even though you have a strong tank. The matchups become extremely unfair and the developers are obviously trying to get you to spend money to upgrade your tank. Even if I purchase diamonds/coins for $99 it is still not enough to get me one upgrade since it now costs me so much to complete one upgrade. I am done spending money and when I deplete my current coins/diamonds I will find a new game or create a new account and play for free until I am not competitive anymore. Don’t get roped into this game unless you are willing to spend a lot of money down the road.
Good game but could get very expensive
Fri Jul 22 2022 MoresongspleaseGreat game if you’re a casual gamer who is content to play for just 10-15 minutes at a time (3-4 matches). It is possible to progress nicely but slowly without spending real money but you gotta be very patient. If you’re willing to stay with tier 1 tanks, you may be able to play decently with just pure skills for a while. Remember, once you get higher tier tanks, you’ll need more diamonds to buy special ammo, thus you will be tempted to spend money for those diamonds and coins. Regular ammo are still free but quite useless in higher tiers. Tip to newbies: stick to the free tank and keep upgrading before getting a new one. Upgrade your new tank before using in battle. NOW: If you like playing for hours with the best tanks and ammo and power ups and customizations be prepared to spend hundreds of dollars. Suggestions for the developer: At least make those coins convertible to diamonds or better yet just make it a single currency. Limit the effect of customizations and improve match-ups (4 fully customized tanks vs regular tanks= plain massacre). Don’t be too greedy, be nice to your paying customers.
Love the game BUT.....

The only thing that I really don't like about this game is all the money you have to spend in order to stay challenged in the game. You spend money to buy diamonds you have to use diamonds to buy fuel and when you buy a power up for your tank which is camouflage or something like that it only lasts for either a few hours or a day or so. To me that's not fair I understand you have to make money but you're basically robbing your consumer by making them spend so much money on a game where you really don't have the opportunity to grow and less you spend money. I can pretty much guarantee you that out of 30,000 reviews this game really doesn't have that many five star ratings it is literally impossible unless the people leaving these ratings are millionaires. Think about the consumer and stop being so money hungry because the game is awesome but to actually stay in and play the game you literally have to be rich. Also stop making it so difficult to open crates that actually gives you power ups. You need to let the crates be able to be opened with coins instead of diamonds because diamonds are the most expensive item to buy on the game and less you have diamonds you're really out of luck on everything because diamonds are use for almost everything in the game including fuel, opening crates, camouflage, opening war crates, and to speed up tank development. Like I said.....the game is awesome but the amount of money you have to spend to actually have a good time in this game is utterly ridiculous!
Run by marketing, not by programmers

It's a great game, lots of fun, but all geared towards the high dollar player. Used to be able to earn 20 diamonds by watching ads. Which is not enough opportunity, in itself. Now it's only 5. Otherwise you can earn 6 diamonds a day doing missions. Can get lucky and earn 2-4 per battle. I average far less than 1. To buy max paint and decals for your tank costs 800 diamonds and lasts 3-4 days with premium subscription. You can also earn some diamonds in crates and clan wars. In total, maybe 20-30 a day if you are REALLY lucky. Game glitches alot. Sometimes kicks you out after 1/2 a battle, and you lose any resources you have earned or used. 1500 diamonds costs $50. The game can be played like this, but it becomes tedious and irritating to be blown up 10 seconds into a battle, while inflicting 1/8 or 1/6th in damage. I don't know, but it seems to me that the high dollar players are not really interested in wasting their time watching ads to earn single diamonds. I have spent around $400-$500. Sucked me right on in. Once I have used up my resources, I am sure I will abandon the game. Hopefully the programmers (sic) will have geared some of the game to low or no budget players by then. I seriously doubt it. It is a trend that is constantly gearing things to get the big bucks from the big bucks players. I do recommend you try the game and leave your own opinion. ☹️

Sat Jun 15 2019 Mercenary❌After playing this game for about a month you realize that it isn’t as fun anymore because you go up against people who have spent money on the game. There’s several tanks and you unlock them at a certain rank but in order to get them you have to be willing spend Lots of money, if you’re the type of player who is willing to earn their way up than pay then this is not for you. You can only get lower tier tanks which don’t have a chance against higher tier even after fully upgrading them. They offer “Discounts” for diamonds and gold coins but you have to spend a lot of you want enough to buy the tank. The game itself isn’t bad but it’s the amount of people that actually spend money on this game that prevents you from getting enough points even with the power ups you get from crates which takes hours to open, I have the patience for that but the fact that you battle just to earn a speck of points isn’t worth it. The only way your winning is if you’re on a team with people who spend money or if you spend money yourself. These type of games will always ask for money and they charge you a lot for what you really need. Looking for a game that requires skill and luck?...yeah this isn’t the place. Games such as PUBG Mobile, Fortnite, and rules of survival offer this. Money there only gets you things to look cool which isn’t bad. Try a game worth playing then a game full of spenders. Don’t expect to find a game like this that requires you to keep spending. If you do spend money then don’t do it till you unlock tier 3 tanks and premium is up to you
