Network Issues.

The games is a good game but the network issues are way out of control. I must have to start and restart my game at the very least a dozen or more times a day and I play the game everyday. It is very very frustrating but I haven’t quit over it yet👌It does need to be fixed or you will lose players for sure. I use a new IPad when I play and I have a very strong in home network with only a desk top on it and I still have problems. The game should not have to be restarted so many times. Please fix it permanently!

Busy Game with Poor Network Capabilities

I have been playing the game for a few months now and it has a ton of moving parts, some which are easy to pick up and some which really need better understanding or an active cheat sheet to keep up with everything. The game does keep you busy and it can be both fun and challenging to keep up with. My biggest complaint is that maybe due to all of the things they have going all of the time that their own File Servers or Network cannot keep up with it or maybe it is the large amount of players they have playing online. I don’t know but there are way too many dropped network issues on their side and you have to do too many restarts or take a pause in the game and wait for it to catch up with the action. They have to fix this problem or eventually people will stop playing as it can become quite a bit annoying. This issue has gotten worse over the past month and just when you think they fixed it or did some sort of an upgrade…..it starts again. That won’t work much longer for me and I will start to lose interest.

Lost and abandoned

This game can (and mostly is) very interesting. It can easily pull you and captivate you. You are able to develop some wonderful contacts and new friends from around the world. However, if you happen to begin on a dead or “test” server, then your experience will turn from fun to frustration. I began on a server (296), developed a stronger player / base. Unfortunately, I was assigned to the server as a “newbie” after nearly everyone on the server had weeks, if not months, of playing time ahead of me. That being said, I never was accepted and developed connections within the server. I thought that the Transfer Order option perfectly fit my situation. But… and here is the HUGE CATCH… I am NOT ALLOWED to transfer. The developers have decided that this server (296) and a handful of others are deemed test servers. Non of us may leave the server / zone. We are trapped and our game is become boring beyond words. I have invested money in this game and was very optimistic, but when the official word came down that we can never leave, it destroyed any hope for fun. If you chose to play this game, then be aware you may become trapped in a dead game.

Really?

Aside from a few differences ie the sub thing although it’s a very thin submarine thing - the rest is kiss of war- I have kiss of war and all the ladies with it and this game funny enough guess what has all the same women and same looks except they have some vocals the club the bedroom the gambling for affection ratings - it’s all kiss of war with a different name and a few differences in the sub and ship area - dear developer you guys do you I am not judging but don’t call an apple a pear either- my bases and my level is way further ahead on KOW and am part of the quality control community there and have been with it for a long time - trust me I know that this is the same game with a few extra perks or rather different perks - I would be happy to provide video of both playing and screens for development and research from both too to prove the point.

Randomly Banned

I was playing on a server. I was the guild leader of a top 5 guild on the server. Without warning or notice I was abruptly banned without reason or cause. I literally have no idea what or why I was banned. I contacted customer service and received an automated chat line with no information. I put hours into a game with no explanation of why I get a character kicked off. I have been respectful of everyone. I played fairly. I have NEVER been banned from any game in my life… and here I am. 1 star. Glad I didn’t waste money on this. Response to the developers reply: I did not violate community rules. I did communicate though the chat and received no response—no reasons for the ban. I did nothing wrong. I will not waste more time on a game that you get randomly banned from. I suggest people delete this game. 1 star. I would give you zero stars if I could. Absolutely dishonest developer response.

Enjoyable. Just not as advertised

I was sucked in to this game called “Sea War.” However, it is actually a cool game called Kiss of War with a steam-punkish, mid-20th century “pin-up” vibe. Don’t get me wrong - it’s fun and engaging. You can advance (albeit VERY slowly) without purchasing anything. Pros: great strategy, fun resource management, base development game, simple but entertaining combat system, really fun mini-games. Cons: the naval combat that got me to download is a very, very small part of the game and becomes less available as the game goes on. You only get to play the submarine “shooter” game for a handful of times after each base upgrade. And those become a real grind after a couple days - it can take weeks. So if you got reeled in by an FPS or naval combat game, just realize it is only a rare mini game within a resource management sim. Which is a serious bummer. It would take very little to make this a more significant part of the game and should be considered by the developers as the advertising for the game is quite misleading. I am very deep into the game and manage a large guild on an active server at this point. Bottom line: Fun, but not as advertised at all. Can be a money pit if you are not careful.

System crashes

This game would be a whole lot better if it didn’t crash every 5-10 minutes. Customer service is an AI. No resolution so far. Update: success, to some degree. Actually received a response from a human after this review. The downside is in the email I received from them there was a link to contact them. No where in the page it directed me to I found that. I had a follow up question & I guess leaving reviews is the only way to get a response. The follow up question in response to your answer. The AI said I at least needed 6GB of memory for the game. I have 128 & only a 1/3 of that is used. Also there are no other apps running when I’m using the game. Thanks

This game is terrible and support is worse

This game is terrible. Items disappear without using them regularly. Support will never agree with you or will you ever get what you are supposed to receive from finishing events. Tanks , planes, infantry, artillery will disappear and support will tell you they found nothing. Items disappear regularly if you never use them. I have played for years and have brought thousands of items to their attention and not a single thing has been resolved with the exception of they find nothing wrong. My advice is delete the game and play no games tap4fun puts out. The bottom line is they want your money in China but will do nothing in customer support to support the customer. Make them go bankrupt.

Kiss of War is a war strategy game set in the late modern period. It tells a story about a group of charming women with different pasts...
