Game improvements and bugfixes.
Train Station 3 is a comprehensive tycoon game that manages to be deep without being overwhelming. As someone who grew up with model trains, this game feels like a digital version of that hobby. You start with a small station and a few steam engines, but before you know it, you're managing a global logistics empire with high-speed electric trains. The level of detail on the train models themselves is impressive; rail enthusiasts will definitely appreciate the historical accuracy of the various engines.
The gameplay loop involves balancing resource collection with contract fulfillment. It requires a good bit of planning—you have to ensure your trains are equipped for the distance and the cargo they are carrying. The UI is a big step up from Train Station 2, feeling much cleaner and more responsive on smaller screens. While it is an idle-heavy game, there is always something to optimize. It’s a slow-burn experience that is immensely rewarding as you see your tiny station turn into a bustling transport hub.
Hundreds of Real Trains
Global Map Expansion
Dynamic Resource Economy
Stunning 3D Environments
Assign your fastest trains to short-distance contracts to maximize your gold-per-minute. Save your high-capacity, slower engines for long-haul resource gathering.
Don't just buy new trains; focus on upgrading the ones you have. An upgraded Steam engine can often outperform a base-level Diesel engine in the early game.
Yes, the game features a vast collection of historically accurate trains from various countries and eras.
The experience I had playing Train Station 3 has been enjoyably satisfying. I witnessed an advertisement for the game while watching a Facebook video last week. I normally never play mobile games whatsoever. Although, the video advertisement for this game seemed very compelling. Even though I was initially interested in the game, I still was not expecting much for a mobile game. However, once I started to play I was immediately impressed. This game is very well put together and has a multilayered gameplay and graphics output. I am extremely satisfied with the level of immersion and innovation within the game. I would recommend this mobile game to anyone. It is extremely intuitive and might be one of the best mobile games I have ever played. I have had nothing but a positive experience while playing. I am now looking forward to playing Train Station 4. I hope it comes soon!
Please incorporate or add the function for iOS 26 handlebar resizing options or functionality as this is a major letdown currently. I've spent a substantial some of money on this game and I am currently hooked on it but a major issue with it is being able to maintain events and time in the game while during my coursework we're watching shows as side-by-side view does not work properly. When my iPad is turned sideways I end up having to drag the vast majority of the game of screen. Also, please add a one time purchase of an ad-free pack for a VIP program that gives you this. Also note that the wording on the premium pass on the regular part of the game is extremely misleading in this aspect and I have contacted you guys regarding this. It should specify clearly that the ad-free part of this past only relates to the stages that are achieved along the way and not other ad content in the game. When you state ambiguously that this pass will allow you to skip ads or remove ads without specifying restrictions like the event passes do, you are opening up yourself to refunders and had I not been petty, I might had just done so, heh.
This is probably the best of all the train games out there. It’s great building up the areas and array graphics. The only negatives are that the game is very expensive to play unless you want to wait for hours between tasks. All trains should not breakdown before each train has made at least 3 trips not after one or 2 trips. We should be able to earn more gems as we play. Currently it is taken me 7 days so far to be able the get close to opening up the 1960 stage. I have completed everything except the passenger train portion as I still have 4 more to complete. Passenger counts should be refilled every hour like the fuel and most everything else does. Cut down the costs to purchase gems as semmai as lower the amount of gems it takes to buy the passengers because 70, 120 & 200 gems is highway robbery or should I say railway robbery especially when you only get 4900 passengers for 200 gems. Lastly lower the amount of parts it takes to upgrade our trains.
Graphics are excellent trains are beautiful although I met I didn’t like them having to deal with maintenance and fuel cause you don’t get to run your trains very long like you do in train station two but as I can see the more you upgrade the longer the fuel ratio gets in a longer the trains can ride same way with Vegas like Tom help me out with an issue. I had earlier in the game where you don’t just have to click on the item you have to click and slide. Don’t know why I had missed that part that caused me not to be able to play and I admit, I don’t play train station two anymore. I think one train station game is just enough for me. Second event was a little bit difficult asking for too much stuff not being able to accomplishthe goals because of the warehouse issue but still it’s a great game.
This third game is definitely an improvement from the previous one in graphics and other features. There are some issues and suggestions I’d love to lay out: 1. The game itself strains my device and causing its temperatures to rise. I hope you can optimize the game so it can run on some lower-end devices. 2. I believe that the choice of 3D characters is not in the best interest of the game, since it doesn’t fit the art style shown in the introduction of the game. 2D detailed characters like the previous Train Station game would feel more tailored to this game. 3. The icons can do some work. They don’t really fit the style of the setting like the 3D characters. Maybe a UI overhaul sometime later? 4. There should be some more attention to detail (the cranes actually grabbing the materials from the cars properly, a more realistic acceleration and maximum speed of locomotives, and railroad infrastructure (signals, rail switches, switch houses etc.) That’s all I have. I know this game just released, as I saw from the news in Train Station 2. I took the opportunity to be one of the first people to write a review on this app’s page. I hope my review is seen and my suggestions are considered by the developer team behind this game. If my remarks are already in the minds of the developers, I greatly appreciate the developers’ dedication to this new edition of Train Station. Best regards to you, Pixel Federation.
I was looking for a casual builder, to relax and gave TS3 a try. It quickly became my favorite game. Here is a quick summary of my experience as a f2p player. I believe you start in 1930, with one rail, couple buildings for production, and a new city with a small amount of buildings. I slow play, and focus on the days long side events where you can win new city buildings, get unique cultural buildings, etc. The main story is engaging and you will need to progress here to upgrade your rails both commercial and passenger, as well as progress years where more innovation becomes available. I only play for free and have every new train or building prize from the events. I probably have 25 trains, each can be improved and there are always more to get. I am the rail tycoon of 1949 right now having maxed my rail profits for the generation I am in.
First, I pushed my thoughts about the TS3 into ChatGPT and let it edit and clarify my points. So this review is my honest opinion cleaned up by AI. As a longtime fan of the original TrainStation Classic—where I reached well over level 3000—I approached TrainStation 3 with high expectations. I’m happy to say it delivers. The graphics are excellent, with a beautiful 3D perspective that brings the world to life. The visual upgrade feels like a true evolution of the series, not just a re-skin. I skipped TrainStation 2, as it didn’t quite align with what I was looking for in the franchise, but TrainStation 3 brings back the essence of the original while pushing the concept forward. One of the things I’ve always appreciated about Pixel Federation is their consistent delivery of meaningful updates. They’ve clearly invested time into improving not just visuals but also gameplay objectives—especially the construction of various locations and the central depot, which adds depth and purpose to your progress. Monetization is fair and familiar, especially for those who know Pixel’s model. I’ve never felt pressured to pay, and their player support has been top-notch over the years. Overall, TrainStation 3 is a worthy continuation of the series. I’m impressed with what the developers have created and look forward to being part of the game’s journey.
This game has a similar feel to Train Station 2, which is a good thing, but it just doesn’t seem finished. The UI leaves a lot to be desired. Unlike TS2, it is difficult or impossible to find basic information that you would want to know, and it is pretty buggy. It also seems really unbalanced. Typically games will try to get players hooked into the game early with easy achievements and a quick pace, and then slow down as you advance. This game has so many stop points. You can’t play for more than ten minutes before you have to wait an hour for a few drops of fuel. You can only produce a few items before you have to wait for more workers. You can only do a few missions before everything is locked behind a slow age/xp progression. It’s like they don’t want you playing the game. I’ve played TS2 for a while pretty regularly, but playing this game seems more like a job and not satisfying at all, especially when you can just play TS2 and get a better experience.
