We’ve made some behind-the-scenes improvements to enhance overall performance and fix a few bugs to keep everything running smoothly.
Thank you for playing and supporting us.
Tangled Rope: Solve Puzzles is the ultimate digital 'fidget toy.' There is something deeply satisfying about untangling a mess of colorful ropes, and this game leans into that psychological 'ah-ha!' moment perfectly. The 3D physics are impressive; the ropes don't just feel like static lines, they have weight and react realistically when you pull them across one another.
The puzzles start off simple enough to be meditative, but they quickly evolve into complex knots that require genuine spatial reasoning. It’s a great 'commuter' game—you can solve a puzzle in 60 seconds or spend ten minutes on a harder one. It doesn't overcomplicate things with unnecessary mechanics; it’s just you, the knots, and the satisfaction of a clear board.
Satisfying 3D Physics
Hundreds of Levels
Calming Visuals and Sounds
Progressive Difficulty
Always look for the rope that is on the very top of the pile first. Moving the topmost ropes to the outer pins makes it easier to see the core knots.
On harder levels, you can swap two pins. Use this sparingly to bypass a central knot that seems impossible to move traditionally.
No, most levels have no time limit, allowing you to untangle the ropes at your own pace.
This version of tangled ropes is very satisfying to play. There is actually a professionally designed game structure, so it feels like you are progressing up the levels. This one is the Best of the 15 rope games I tried. There are some ads at appropriate places. But not after each game. You aren’t constantly hit with ad after ad. Some game levels are hard, but not ridiculously hard so that you have to buy your way a win. This game is based on a timer, but the times are reasonable enough so that if you play carefully, you can win. No tricks, not just a money grab.
I downloaded this game based on an ad that let me try it out. The ad was a circle of ropes to be untangled and seemed to present a brain challenge that was both engaging and a bit challenging. However, I have yet to discover that same level of challenge in the actual game. Additionally, the puzzles in the game are not tangled in a fixed circle but rather on large square boards. I’m on level 60 and have not struggled yet. The game has all sorts of power ups that I have not yet needed to use. I was gifted some scissors in an earlier level that automatically cuts a rope at the start of each level and while this could be a nice feature, it takes what little challenge this game presents and makes it even easier 😕. There’s no option to shut it off and so I have to intentionally lose a level to make it stop. I love the idea of this game but it seems to be designed for kids based on the level of difficulty. Even the levels marked as “super hard” are easily beaten within 30 seconds. The graphics are beautiful and the game runs smoothly. There are ads but they are not intrusive and only play every few levels. I was really hoping this would be a fun brain puzzle game forcing me to flex my mind and think but it’s not. I’ll give it a few more levels just to see if the challenge increases but if not, I’m already bored and will likely quit playing.
The game that I’m playing with this title is different than the pictures that are in the listing in the App Store. The graphics are really nicely done. The colors and icons are bright, and it has really good animations within the game. There are even different side quests that happen in a different times that you can do instead of the main game in order to get prizes to go through the game. There is even a level that is the difficulty level that is outside of the game, where you get different ropes of different complex complexities and that one is really fun.. It varies, depending on how many levels in the game you have achieved in order to be able to do that special board. I’ve played a lot of puzzle games and this one has some interesting features that make certain boards more challenging. I specifically like the plate parts where they take up multiple places on a board and they’re harder to maneuver around. That’s a nice touch. But all in all the game is too easy. I’m at about 400+ levels and I have over 30,000 coins that I don’t know what to spend on because I keep beating each level. I’ve maxed out the different progress bars many many different times and at this point it’s getting kind of boring because everything is so easy.
while the game itself is free to play, you’re forced to watch ads unless you purchase the no ads feature. Plus the amount of time they give you on the higher levels and due to the difficulty of the levels, there is no way you can complete these levels without the special helps. This forces you, if you want to be successful in the game to have to purchase the special items like the scissors to cut a rope. I refuse to pay more money on a game other than the no ads and now I’ve gone as high as I can, reach the level that was too difficult to try to finish in the time given, and now I’ve lost all the special effects that I gained by having a winning streak, unless I purchased one of their packs or more coins or special items and things like that. I hate games that appear to be free but in the end, you really need to spend money in order to be successful. Hence, why I gave a two star review. If the game wasn’t as difficult as it is, I would’ve given a five star review actually play the game without to spend money. I would not recommend this game to anyone who is a free to play player and you don’t want or can spend the money on it.
I understand that these games are designed to try to make us spend money. They want us to fail so we have to buy the extra coins, tools, etc. (that being said, this game is fairly easy). However, this game says the quiet part out loud. Even when playing by the rules, the game blatantly rigs itself against you which is really aggravating. When you move one end of a rope to a free space, the space lights up acknowledging you’ve chosen it and that it will accept the rope, then whips it back to where it started, often tangling it more with the others and setting you up for failure. Sometimes you get areas where there’s literally nowhere to move a rope and you’re forced to use the expansion tool. And the ads are…. A lot. It’s a fun game, but ffs if you’re going to design it to cheat, make it less obvious. Update: the algorithmic cheating was so bad I deleted the app and will never play again. I will also not play any other games made by this developer. I know they don’t care, but it’ll make me feel better, anyway. Trash.
The game has little ways to cause you to lose a level the first time you play it which is annoying. IE stopping play ability when 3 secs from running out the timer. What is concerning? Is that the videos that you watch for extra points will not play when the VPN is on. Also, if you find yourself covering the front camera on your phone, you’ll find that the characters in the advertisements change from what they are when you uncover your camera. For instance, the character was always a woman with dark hair and blue eyes. When I covered my camera she was black, the next time I covered my camera she was blonde. I never had this happen again, unless I covered my camera.
i'm 550 levels in and i haven't lost once, so this leads me to either one of two conclusions. I'm REALLY good at untying knots, or this game isn't all that difficult. great game to play when my adhd is boinging and i need a random task for my brain to accomplish. Although, when a level it quite difficult and there are a bunch of ropes layered on one another you can just flick the random ropes around and 70% of the time it will just untie itself but 30% of the time it will make the level 100% harder. i like the minimal ads.
This game is cool, but there’s random other games and pop ups ever single time you open the pop up screen. It’s extremely annoying I just want to play the game I downloaded. I also don’t like all the random add ons they give. There should be the option to activate the cutting scissors when u get them and to be able to choose which string to cut. I actually enjoy a challenge and the cutting across its u get after 10 games ruins that challenge for me. I literally loss every 10th game on purpose cuz I don’t want the scissors to ruin the fun and make it way too easy. It’s also not strategic at all when u don’t get to choose what string to cut. I just miss when games were simple without pop ups and flares and you actually had to think.
