Fix the Ai

I love this game, really one of my top favorite games to play on my downtime. There are many things that are so good about it and very few things I would say are a problem. One of the biggest problems is the weak Ai companions that are supposed to help “support” but overall make it almost impossible to complete time challenges due to how weak they are. Example, during some of the main story missions. You are required to have two-three Ai companions. However, they are so weak that they will distract a singular enemy and move them away from the fight making time challenges almost impossible. I have been stuck trying to kill 40 enemies within a minute due to one of the “support” bots taking a single enemy to the other side of the map. I’ve changed the build of my hunters and player many times to no luck. As there is still that one bot that will drag an enemy to the other side and only manage to damage it for 30% of the enemy health. I never write reviews but I believe in the potential of this game and am only sharing what I believe to be the biggest issue so far. Thank you

Mobile Lags tremendously

This game has some of the worst servers for mobile play!!!! It's fun and entertaining forsure, but you will not get far. This game will LAG during matches throughout the entire match, and by the time you get the Boss down to 2 or 3 on the health bar, it will either Lag worse, killing you, or the game will close out. Im playing on a newer IPhone and this game is so annoying. I've been playing two weeks after it premiered hoping it will get better and it HAS NOT!!! I'm tired of replaying matching that I should've won, I'm tired of 45 mins worth of daily tasks taking 2 hrs plus with lagging and app shut downs. They provide lower to higher frame levels to choose from and it truly does nothing, It's fun but honestly don't waste your time unless your on a computer. (Addition) so it's been three months, I'm back to the game, not only has everything been fixed for the most part, I had a beautiful package waiting for me when I got back to the game full of all types of stuff to get me rolling again, I had my complaints before, and they were well received, and well addressed. I'm not crashing, the game is not lagging, text has been fixed, animations has been fixed, and they've added some extra fun things to do to keep the game going, and they adjusted the power levels which was great cause it was getting real rough with what they were giving you but it was a new game so I knew I had to fall back for a little bit, great job guys.

Surprisingly good

First need to address how it seems how the App Store seems to be hiding this gem. Should be top 5 in many categories but it’s not even listed in any of them. Great new game especially since I’m into the manhua and the anime. Has some issues on mobile, that I don’t see happening to reviewers using pc, that took away a star. Biggest issues are special attacks not landing, camera angle doing what it wants, attacks going after the wrong enemy, artifact’s abilities seeming sabotaged, target lock applying to everyone except the target in front of me, and target lock disengaging. Also, later content demanding 100k champ pwr levels to complete but the items needed to level up to that pwr level beyond to hard to get and It’s not even purchasable. Which forces me to only be able level up 3 to 5 characters out of 25. So 20 champs stuck at 50-60k pwr level are in a useless purgatory. Because I can’t raise their power levels I can’t use them. Why even put them in the game if we can’t use them. Besides those issues I’m loving all the other aspects of the game. Pros to the game are weapons, character drawing system, adherence to story, road map through the game, strategy needed to complete fights, plethora of content, fighting mechanics, challenges, and I love how jinwoo is a set character (no need to unlock him.) They have something special with this game. Worth playing even with the issues imo.

Leveling system

Yea not really a fan of the level requirements for stages. It’s restricting and makes the game less enjoyable. It also makes the game slow paced and boring. Still a really good game and the graphics are beautiful but still really don’t like level requirement for stages. It makes no sense why it would be there other than to force players to pay for diamonds to get more keys for gates or passes for more activity funds or be forced to fall behind while waiting for keys to play gates and collect activity funds just to catch up. Don’t restrict it so they are forced to wait even though they are way above required power level. Even if your power level isn’t enough, it shows that you can strategize around it and beat a level that is meant for when you are stronger. It would be wonderful if this system would be removed and let players play the game. Your game will die off because it’s boring and people don’t want to pay just to progress in the story or gameplay. Even if you have wonderful graphics it, doesn’t matter if your dumb level system outweighs it. No games with this type of level requirements for stages system last long. Just a thought to make your game more enjoyable and not make players feel forced to pay real money to progress.

Had high hopes for this

I was really excited for this game to release but unfortunately after about 2 hours of playing, just had to stop. The battle mechanics are choppy and unsmooth, it feels unfinished with my character swiping at the air and completely ignoring the enemy half the time despite being “locked on,” other times when dodging, it had an input lag of about a second or two. When using skills, you can’t animation cancel and instead will just continue until it’s done, even if you’re not aiming at the enemy. The graphics are good, the character models aren’t exactly accurate to the source material but it isn’t bad. I do like the weapon system and skill system, the options available to you enables you to play in various ways. The gacha system is fine, but the fact that they made a $20 outfit available on the day of release rubs me the wrong way. It makes the game just feel like a cash grab. Mostly because the game still feels clunky and overall unpolished but they’re putting their focus towards in-game cosmetics instead which is in my opinion ridiculous. Overall i would say if you enjoyed the solo leveling manhwa then try out the game. I wouldn’t say it’s the best game adaptation out there, maybe not even mid tier, but it has potential to be good, it just needs further development and polishing. Overall 2/5.

Bad attempt at recreating a popular Manhwa

Let’s get to the point, everything in the game is too repetitive. It was really fun at first, but then eventually it got really boring because every fight was basically the same the layout of the map is the same too. It really gives me headaches doing the same thing over and over again. I wish it was more of an open world story mode game over a Gacha, so that there will be more investment into the actual story of Solo Leveling. I want to feel as if I am Sung Jinwoo not this pay to win thing. But if you like Gacha games then maybe this is for you. Just know you’ll be having to do the same boring fights every time. The mechanics is pretty good, but it’s kind of hard to play on mobile. It’s better to play on a PC. I feel like these 5star rating are just people glazing because this game is based on a popular manhwa. I could be wrong and people just like this type of game. I guess it’s just not for me. It would be nice though if there was more investment into the story of Solo Leveling. It would draw a bigger crowd if you can recreate the feeling that readers felt when reading the manhwa. When I play this game I just don’t feel the same excitement that drew me onto this Solo Leveling story. Overall I think this game had potential to be a great game if the developers didn’t make it into a Gacha game.

Probably best game I’ve ever played on a phone “but” they aren’t really be honest about minimal requirements I got an I phone 12 not the newest model but not a dinosaur bone either. I loved this game so much ( fan of the anime too) I played through all the crashes till chapter 20 when it just crashed every time I tried. Not being sour with the 4 stars but I feel like it’s the devs job to say what phones the game works on. I dropped some money( but honestly I don’t think it’s necessary to enjoy it) but then couldn’t progress any further Been a few weeks since I deleted this game from my phone with a tear in my eye. It was trying to be the best moble game ever and it kind of was if it didn’t crash every 5 mins. I gave it 4 stars thinking it’s a great game I just don’t have the right phone. They lost a star though because I was hopping they might try to fix the problems but nah all I see is people with newer phones then me having the same problems and all the updates just introduce new stuff and not addressing them. So now it’s just like they are doubling down on pushing a defective product which I got to call out. If you fix the root problems I’ll change this to 5* if not this rating will eventually get to 1*

Fix the constant iOS game crashes with the update

The game is still crashing on my iPhone . Which wasn’t happening on global launch, until you released either the first or second update and it started crashing. I’ve done everything you asked me to do and u still didn’t fix this issue after 2 months. Pls fix it, I can’t take it anymore. It crashes at least 4 times in 20mins of game play, most times I can’t even play story, daily’s or POD, Workshop or nothing. I’m getting fed up Netmarble. I love the game but I can’t take the constant crashes anymore, I can’t even Make content on the game because of the constant crashes. I have done everything u asked me to do, nothing worked and it got worse after evey update u made. A single path can fix this pls pls, devs, don’t push a whole iOS mobile community away, cos that’s happening, most of us are even pay 2 win players. Fix the issues. I won’t want to delete the game at such a high end game content I’m in cos I can’t take the crashes. My phone play’s other high games just fine. With fantastic performance. Most people have started leaving ur game because of this issues of crashes and loading screens. Even phone cooler and lowest graphics settings doesn’t help, the game still crashes after 4mins gameplay which is terrible. Thanks Netmarble I know h would fix it this update coming.
