Psychofunk is one of the most stylish and mechanically unique platformers on the App Store. Instead of controlling the character's movement directly, you control the platforms themselves, pushing them in and out of the screen like the buttons on an old cassette player. This 'Z-axis' interaction is perfectly suited for touchscreens and feels entirely fresh. The aesthetic is a psychedelic trip through the 60s and 70s, featuring trippy visuals and a funky soundtrack that perfectly complements the action.
The game is challenging, especially during the creative boss fights that require precise timing and quick reflexes. It’s a relatively short experience, but every level is handcrafted with care and introduces new ideas. Entertaining and cool art style!
Fri Jun 04 2021 aaaaalibraaaapsI always have high expectations whenever I buy a game for more than $3 on the App Store for my phone, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised! The game dynamic is really cool to play through and learn. My phone is updated to the latest IOS update as of 6/4/21; it doesn’t make my phone overheat or anything like that (as of yet at least). This game is fun and still has a challenge element to it. Props to you guys! Personally the only thing that I think could be ‘improved’, was if some part of the scenes that you go through moved with the beat of the music. I think that’d be cool :)

Wed Jun 02 2021 jsamiThis is a fun platformer. Once you play a few levels you’ll understand the game. My only reason for not giving a full 5 star rating is because the game heats up both my iPad and iPhone pretty quickly. If this problem gets fixed, I’d recommend five stars. Get this game.
Charming
