Minor bugfixes and improvements
Swim Out is the perfect digital vacation. It’s a turn-based puzzle game that manages to be incredibly relaxing despite requiring some serious brainpower. The 'one-move-per-turn' mechanic is reminiscent of the 'GO' series (Hitman GO, Lara Croft GO), but with a sunny, poolside theme that feels much more inviting. Each swimmer has a distinct movement pattern—some go straight, some zig-zag—and navigating around them is like a choreographed dance.
The game is beautifully presented with a clean, Mediterranean aesthetic and a soothing ambient soundtrack. With over 100 levels across 7 chapters, the difficulty curve is expertly managed, introducing new hazards like jellyfish and waves just when you think you’ve mastered the pool. It’s a smart, stylish, and polished experience that is absolutely worth the entry price for puzzle enthusiasts.
Over 100 levels across 7 chapters
12 different types of swimmers and patterns
Interactive objects: Buoys, fins, water guns
Environmental hazards: Waves, crabs, jellyfish
Full controller and Apple TV support
Relaxing, text-free atmospheric experience
Every time you move one square, every other swimmer in the pool also moves one square. Observe the direction they are facing to predict their next move. If you are about to collide, use an item like a buoy to stun them or a water gun to push them back, clearing your way to the ladder.
Gameplay involves identifying the patterns of 12 different swimmer types. Some swimmers do slow breaststrokes while others dive under the water. Players must use the environment, such as current-pushing waves or obstacles, to reach the goal without occupying the same space as another swimmer at the end of a turn.
Yes, Swim Out is non-violent and text-free, making it accessible to all ages and languages.
I’m not really a puzzle person, but was drawn to the aesthetics of this game. Turns out, I’m kind of a puzzle person after all, and this game is pretty rad! Well polished, super clean minimalism at it’s best. Looking forward to your future releases!
I like the relaxed approach. The colors weren’t comfortable for me, tiring, in fact. Also, was I the only one who wanted a way to see what levels I’ve finished. I feel like I’m never starting in the same place. How do you know what you’ve missed?
Beautiful graphics, relaxing gameplay, just beautifully designed, please make more like it or add new levels, Thank you !!
If you’re a fan of the Go franchise, this is a title worth playing. It’s sleek, stylish, intuitive, and filled with plenty of levels that slowly amp up the difficulty.
I like the game for the most part. It would be nice if there was some explanations of what all the "flippers" and "beach ball" things you collect in the pools actually help you with. I have to figure enough stuff out in my daily life as it is. I don't want to have to figure this out (by trial and error) when I want to relax.
Refreshing!
The fact I can’t change the screen orientation infuriates me.
I didn’t want to buy this it’s a waist of money
