McPixel 3 is a glorious explosion of 8-bit absurdity. Following in the footsteps of its predecessors, it tasks you with saving the day in 100 chaotic levels, but the twist is that 'saving the day' usually involves the most nonsensical solutions imaginable. The humor is visceral, crude, and consistently surprising—you'll find yourself laughing out loud at the sheer unpredictability of what happens when you interact with the environment.
Beyond the point-and-click chaos, the inclusion of over 20 genre-bending minigames keeps the pace lightning-fast. The software-rendered engine gives it a unique retro charm that feels authentic rather than forced. Exploring McBurg and finding 'Steve' levels adds a wonderful layer of discovery. It’s a game that rewards curiosity and 'bad' ideas just as much as correct ones, making it a must-play for fans of indie comedy.

Steve is hidden in unexpected places throughout the levels. Finding him transports you to special 'Steve' levels where the gameplay shifts to mundane but hilarious tasks like fishing or cooking.
To get the gold prize for a level, you must discover every possible solution—both the ones that save the day and the ones that end in disaster. Use your coins to unlock new areas in McBurg.

I was skeptical about downloading this game, seeing is how there wasn’t even a “McPixel 2”. But I’m not disappointed. Like the original, "McPixel 3" revolves around its titular character, McPixel, who finds himself in a series of absurd and comical situations, usually involving some form of impending disaster. The player's objective remains the same: to solve these bizarre scenarios in the most unconventional ways possible. The humor, a cornerstone of the McPixel series, is as strong as ever. It's a unique blend of absurdity, slapstick, and the occasional crude joke, which might not be for everyone, but certainly appeals to fans of the series. The game retains its predecessor's point-and-click mechanics, with a notable addition in "McPixel 3", the introduction of mini-games. These mini-games are cleverly woven into the main gameplay. They range from simple puzzles to quick reflex challenges, adding an extra layer of engagement to the game. This is the sequel McPixel needed.
This is just brilliant game design. I am fully immersed and every level makes me surprised and keeps me giggling while simultaneously cursing Sos’s name and “of course! It’s like that…”. I am so impressed with this title and think anyone who is considering trying it out to do so ASAP. Save your day by playing this game!
This is the best game on the App Store. I promise you will not regret buying it. Mcpixel is amazing. Hail mcpixel.
This is one of the worst games I have ever seen. Enjoy my $, I will keep an eye out for more of your (cough cough) games. Save your bucks. Do not buy this stupid game.
