Metal Slug 2 is the quintessential 'run and gun' experience. This ACA NEOGEO port captures every frame of the beautiful, hand-drawn animation that made the original a legend in arcades. From the desert landscapes to the frantic city streets, the detail in the sprites is unmatched—just watch the way the enemies react to being idle or the way the 'Slugs' bounce.
This sequel introduced characters like Fio and Eri, as well as the 'Laser Gun' and the hilarious transformations (like becoming a mummy or getting fat). It’s chaotic, difficult, and incredibly fun. The mobile version features a 'Rapid Fire' toggle which is a godsend for touchscreen players. While it can be tough to play without a joystick, the sheer joy of blowing everything up on screen makes it worth every penny for action fans.
