84/100

HeRoll: Dice Roguelike is a brilliant marriage of tabletop RNG and modern dungeon-crawling. It takes the fundamental excitement of rolling dice and builds a deep, strategic combat system around it. Unlike some roguelikes where 'bad luck' feels unfair, HeRoll gives you the tools to manipulate your odds through a cleverly designed upgrade system. You aren't just hoping for a six; you're building a character that can turn a one into a lethal blow.

The minimalist art style works in its favor, keeping the focus on the UI and the numbers, which is essential for a game this tactical. Each run feels distinct thanks to the 'Relic' system which can fundamentally change how your dice behave. It reminds me of 'Dicey Dungeons' but with its own unique mobile-friendly identity. It’s easy to pick up for five minutes, but you’ll likely find yourself an hour deep into a run before you even realize it.

Easily a top tier mobile game!
Wed Jan 21 2026 For Deoksoon!

I never write reviews on mobile games. In fact this is probably the first review I’ve made. That’s just how good this game is. Everything is perfect. The music is amazing I just wish there were more tracks to make it not feel so repetitive. And the little mini games are super fun. I hope for more. And the designs of the bosses and items are super cool looking. Also hoping for more bosses. MAJOR note. There are no forced ads. All ads are completely optional and that’s amazing. We all know how hard that is to find now. And in app purchases are not necessary to be able to play. You can easily play and win while 100% free to play. That said the prices seem super fair so it doesn’t feel like a scam if you do choose to buy stuff. Overall this game is a must have to kill time and actually have an enjoyable game to come back to on your phone. I 1000% recommend you at least give it a try. Now if I had to make one critique, it would be that once you start a level you are not able to stop and pick up where you left off later. Sometimes I want to start a new level but don’t have enough time to play through the whole thing. So I would like a way to pause a run to finish later. That’s all! See you there!

Way better than I thought

I was bored and had nothing to do so I went to the App Store to find a game to play for the next few days before never playing it again, as per usual, and I saw this game. Now I’ve played roguelikes before and thought I’d just be a short thing before I’d have to buy a full version but no, I really liked the game but I thought it’d be the kind of thing that shoves stuff in your face and it super difficult unless you buy something but this game was nothing like that and doesn’t even give you ads! (unless you choose to for a reward) and the gameplay is just genuinely so good and has a lot to it, and it’s also pretty funny, I even showed this to my friend and he loved it, and he’s the kind of person who doesn’t play mobile games at all unless they’re ACTUALLY good. Pretty safe to say that this game exceeded my expectations by a LOT and I’ll definitely be playing this for a while! And there’s a lot more that I could say but gotta keep things rolling heheh (iykyk)

F2P Balance Issues

The game is basically one button Monopoly. You go around the board X amount of times until you get to the boss. Along the way, you try to gear up and acquire as many blessings and loot as you can in order to stay alive long enough to get to the boss m, let alone defeat the boss. Each encounter is an auto battler. You just roll and hope you get a good roll, land on a good square, survive the encounter, pray to the loot gods, replace your legendary 6 with a gray 7, all to die from landing on a boss influenced square as you were rounding the corner and had just bought an op skill if you could survive the next turn. Ya, this needs some balancing. I think there should be a blessing each time you go around, not only land on a square or buy it. The gear needs to be balanced too. I should not be replacing a legendary 6 with a gray 7. I once remembered replacing my mythic 5 piece with a blue 6. Like what!? This game is truly a luck of the dice roll. That’s all you do in this game. Press a button to roll the dice. Watch your character move on the screen without your input. Oh maybe your guy gets low and you press the “potion” button to try and save him! Now it’s a dice roll for the blood you got! Now you press the button to roll the dice again! And same thing every turn. Roll the dice. Pray you get lucky. Die after getting to level 10 out of 15.

They don’t care
Tue Oct 21 2025 Glitches no support

This game is fun, but I soon realize that it’s not even random. Every role is predetermined. You can restart the app and try to get a different role, but each role is already determined and it’ll just be the same role each time even if you restart the app there was also these glitches where the game would roll back on an update and if you bought something with real money, it would take the items away from you but it would still charge you so you’re just paying for no reason I pay for the VIP package which honestly is really good but I recently just got banned for no reason I got this game on a high because I was bored and wanted something to do and I’ve been playing it consistently but recently I’ve been a little bit more busy and I’ve only been logging in to get my daily bonuses and I occasionally play it when I got spare time to do so well I came in to the game this morning and found out that I’ve been banned for no reason, I tried to ask for help and some said that it was because I was using chat and violated the terms on the chat by using a slur, but I’ve never used the chat when I tried to reach customer support no one responded. I couldn’t get a refund for none of the things I bought with actual money that was taken away by a rollback glitch and I normally don’t write reviews of games that I like or that I don’t like I just delete them, but this one really moved me to write a review

Fun & Fresh Game
Mon Feb 02 2026 ItsSchiz

If nothing else, hands down, my number one favorite element of this app is the fact that the developers allow you to mute world chat. Everyone in the chat when I first started were people that should never be allowed to anonymously voice their opinions ever. So I loved being able to mute it and go about playing in pure bliss and ignorance. It was also really cute and funny that when you block someone, it turns their avatar into a frog and changes their posts to variations of “ribbit”. Despite the horrific player base, the game itself is a fresh and fun take on old-school RPG’s. As is typical to most apps, any type of reward requires watching an ad, but I’ve so far been able to skip all of them without much detriment to my progress, and as long as there are no forced ads I’ll definitely continue playing and supporting devs that are putting out something new and funny, with QOL implements that makes games fun for the average gamer.

Good, very good 😊

While the medieval period is often reduced to a simplistic caricature of muddy peasants and shining knights in popular media, its digital evolution in 2025 has transformed the era into a sophisticated laboratory for systemic storytelling, where hyper-realistic simulations like Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and grand strategy epics like Crusader Kings III converge to challenge players with the brutal complexities of feudalism, dynastic politics, and authentic physics-based combat. This transformation is further accelerated by cutting-edge advancements in Unreal Engine 5, enabling photorealistic European landscapes and AI-driven NPCs that exhibit complex daily routines and reactive social behaviors. Modern titles are increasingly eschewing traditional "health bar" systems for physics-based combat that calculates weapon weight and armor penetration in real-time, effectively moving the genre away from simple power fantasies toward a "ruthless" realism where every decision carries genuine weight. Furthermore, the genre is currently witnessing a divergence into two distinct yet overlapping paths: historical realism, which prioritizes authentic survival and heritage details like historically attested tools and Latin herb names, and high fantasy, which uses the medieval aesthetic as a "palimpsest" to explore contemporary themes of trauma, anxiety, and social identity. By bridging the gap between ancient traditions and 21st-century expressive forms, medieval video games in 2025 allow millions of players to act as "agents of history," navigating complex interactions between economic, religious, and political forces that once defined the pre-modern world. Ultimately, our enduring fascination with the Middle Ages lies in its unique reflection of human ambition and societal struggle, proving that the era remains a living, subversive presence in contemporary digital culture.

Very good game some ideas
Sun Feb 22 2026 Tedtheboymon

Overall this game is one of the best indie games I’ve played on mobile. It has an excellent variety of different things to do in the game itself and the overall idea of this game is genius. Quick and easy gameplay makes this game fun and addicting on the go or chilling at home. I love all the additional content like the first anniversary events and the mini games on the Home Screen. One idea is maybe developers could add a permanent mode where you actually have a village to build with citizens to protect. This could bring so much new and interesting content to the game while keeping the same content as the original. This would be executed perfectly if you can switch to the regular screens and features we have right now and a button to go to your own village. This would be perfect.

Stop complaining and start grinding
Tue Nov 04 2025 Irishman3673732

Short review: this game is so unique and fun and carefully thought out. Be prepared to grind. If you watch lots of ads, you will go far. People are complaining and saying that’s it’s pay-to-win, that it’s impossible to progress unless you pay money. These people are lazy and not willing to put in the work. I have been in the top 2% in the arena, and I’m currently on the final level, and I haven’t paid a penny. Yes you have to grind. Yes you have to watch ads. It’s a free game, what do you expect? For a game like this that has so many elements, awesome animations, unique gameplay, and variety, you would expect mandatory ads every 15 seconds. But nope, it’s up to you how much or little you want to watch. Learn the weapons and pets and relics, use the bonuses, ask questions in the forum. This game is incredible.
