I never write reviews on mobile games. In fact this is probably the first review I’ve made. That’s just how good this game is. Everything is perfect. The music is amazing I just wish there were more tracks to make it not feel so repetitive. And the little mini games are super fun. I hope for more. And the designs of the bosses and items are super cool looking. Also hoping for more bosses. MAJOR note. There are no forced ads. All ads are completely optional and that’s amazing. We all know how hard that is to find now. And in app purchases are not necessary to be able to play. You can easily play and win while 100% free to play. That said the prices seem super fair so it doesn’t feel like a scam if you do choose to buy stuff. Overall this game is a must have to kill time and actually have an enjoyable game to come back to on your phone. I 1000% recommend you at least give it a try. Now if I had to make one critique, it would be that once you start a level you are not able to stop and pick up where you left off later. Sometimes I want to start a new level but don’t have enough time to play through the whole thing. So I would like a way to pause a run to finish later. That’s all! See you there!
I was bored and had nothing to do so I went to the App Store to find a game to play for the next few days before never playing it again, as per usual, and I saw this game. Now I’ve played roguelikes before and thought I’d just be a short thing before I’d have to buy a full version but no, I really liked the game but I thought it’d be the kind of thing that shoves stuff in your face and it super difficult unless you buy something but this game was nothing like that and doesn’t even give you ads! (unless you choose to for a reward) and the gameplay is just genuinely so good and has a lot to it, and it’s also pretty funny, I even showed this to my friend and he loved it, and he’s the kind of person who doesn’t play mobile games at all unless they’re ACTUALLY good. Pretty safe to say that this game exceeded my expectations by a LOT and I’ll definitely be playing this for a while! And there’s a lot more that I could say but gotta keep things rolling heheh (iykyk)
The game is basically one button Monopoly. You go around the board X amount of times until you get to the boss. Along the way, you try to gear up and acquire as many blessings and loot as you can in order to stay alive long enough to get to the boss m, let alone defeat the boss. Each encounter is an auto battler. You just roll and hope you get a good roll, land on a good square, survive the encounter, pray to the loot gods, replace your legendary 6 with a gray 7, all to die from landing on a boss influenced square as you were rounding the corner and had just bought an op skill if you could survive the next turn. Ya, this needs some balancing. I think there should be a blessing each time you go around, not only land on a square or buy it. The gear needs to be balanced too. I should not be replacing a legendary 6 with a gray 7. I once remembered replacing my mythic 5 piece with a blue 6. Like what!? This game is truly a luck of the dice roll. That’s all you do in this game. Press a button to roll the dice. Watch your character move on the screen without your input. Oh maybe your guy gets low and you press the “potion” button to try and save him! Now it’s a dice roll for the blood you got! Now you press the button to roll the dice again! And same thing every turn. Roll the dice. Pray you get lucky. Die after getting to level 10 out of 15.
This game is fun, but I soon realize that it’s not even random. Every role is predetermined. You can restart the app and try to get a different role, but each role is already determined and it’ll just be the same role each time even if you restart the app there was also these glitches where the game would roll back on an update and if you bought something with real money, it would take the items away from you but it would still charge you so you’re just paying for no reason I pay for the VIP package which honestly is really good but I recently just got banned for no reason I got this game on a high because I was bored and wanted something to do and I’ve been playing it consistently but recently I’ve been a little bit more busy and I’ve only been logging in to get my daily bonuses and I occasionally play it when I got spare time to do so well I came in to the game this morning and found out that I’ve been banned for no reason, I tried to ask for help and some said that it was because I was using chat and violated the terms on the chat by using a slur, but I’ve never used the chat when I tried to reach customer support no one responded. I couldn’t get a refund for none of the things I bought with actual money that was taken away by a rollback glitch and I normally don’t write reviews of games that I like or that I don’t like I just delete them, but this one really moved me to write a review
Short review: this game is so unique and fun and carefully thought out. Be prepared to grind. If you watch lots of ads, you will go far. People are complaining and saying that’s it’s pay-to-win, that it’s impossible to progress unless you pay money. These people are lazy and not willing to put in the work. I have been in the top 2% in the arena, and I’m currently on the final level, and I haven’t paid a penny. Yes you have to grind. Yes you have to watch ads. It’s a free game, what do you expect? For a game like this that has so many elements, awesome animations, unique gameplay, and variety, you would expect mandatory ads every 15 seconds. But nope, it’s up to you how much or little you want to watch. Learn the weapons and pets and relics, use the bonuses, ask questions in the forum. This game is incredible.
It’s a game where the concept is very nice in the start, but gets repetitive very quickly. The fact that speeding it up isn’t always accessible also makes the game just go by rather slowly. I know that the bosses have their own individual tiles that they can spawn, but it doesn’t really feel that different when it’s just a new enemy that’s a little tougher. I also don’t really like the fact that accuracy goes down as you go through a level; regardless, I do like the fact that it forces the player to switch out their gloves as they ascend towards the boss’s floor. It’s just annoying that every new glove you get doesn’t always have 100% accuracy, even when they’re higher tier/level. It’s still a nice little game though, especially with the heroine who just wants to get out of the tower and the hero who just keeps on rolling.
I’ve been playing this game for a while now and absolutely love it. This is everything I like about a roguelike packed in one. My only issue and it’s a pretty big one is that I lose significant progress when I open the game. After trying for a very long time to beat level 8 I took a break. When I came back to the game it said my progress was resumed and rolled my entire account back as if nothing happened. This happened several times and I lost hours of progress. What makes it worse is that it rolled my account back to where I lost items I payed for. I was still charged but all of the items were wiped. These are significant issues but the game is newer and I absolutely love it. I unfortunately just can’t play until these rollback issues are fixed. Hoping support reaches back out to me.
Now obviously, when talking about dice games, it’s to be expected that there is going to be some element of luck with it. That’s not my problem. Rather it’s when you have other gambling games within the game that have real world counterparts. For example, there are scratchers, slot machines, and a variation of Twenty One played with dice. Luckily, I did not notice any way where you could actually pay money to get more plays in these games but I honestly didn’t look deep enough in the shop to check. Talking about overall gameplay now, it’s kinda boring. The gameplay loop is just not very engaging. Most of it is just figuring out which equipment will be best to choose. The minigames throughout the board are also just boring and feel incredibly rigged against you. Overall just a bunch of gambling games and boring gameplay under the mask of a cute art style.
