As much s I liked this game in the beginning, I have played it long enough to realize I’m spinning my wheels. I get no where and after I finally get no where, it time to start over again. Sound fun to you? Me neither!! I’ve been trying to reach the levels shown in the ad for quite some time now, but have yet to get anywhere near that. I don’t think that level exist. I think it’s just an enticing ad to draw us in and the developers watch us beating our heads against the wall trying to advance. And when we don’t advance, they watch us dig deeper into or pockets to buy the magic wand that advances us to a higher level that really don’t exist. But we keep falling for it and the developers keep repeating the same old thing to all of us. Have you ever noticed their responses are a blanket that covers all complaints and they are always working on changes that NEVER happen. Will the real suckers please stand up! DEVELOPERS: Stop throwing blanket on our complaints and give us real honest answers. And is it necessary for us to have to sit through the same stupid game ads every time we do anything? Do you really need that many ads playing along with the millions buying power-up too?
DON’T WASTE TIME OR MONEY! First off the game works well. No glitches, smooth play, smooth transition between regular game and events and the graphics are on point. Initially I invested money into the game because after all who doesn’t want to see a good game get better? My low rating is because I keep getting cards for upgrades that I have already reached maximum level. I sent a message to the support team and was assured those cards would be needed in the future but that future’s future has come and passed and still no update. My point is that after a decent financial investment from me and a lot of time playing I continue to get low level upgrade cards for upgrades I have already reached maximum level on. Instead of rewarding players at higher levels for their investment into the game the game recycles the same low level upgrades. There isn’t even a tally of how many cards I have earned for those maxed out upgrades that I will use in the “future”. I believe in fair play and that includes the developers properly awarding rewards based on advancement in the game. I wouldn’t invest much time or money into this game if you’re a new player and I certainly won’t be spending much of either on the game.
The nerve of some people to make not just one ad, but multiple ads over 30 seconds. Advertising the same thing over and over isn't really a good selling point and quite frankly it makes the player want to download the game much less. When presented with a goal of getting to the end of not only a 45 second ad, but an entire minute advertisement and then having to wait *15 additional seconds* and doing nothing. Is this really supposed to make someone download the game? My main critique of the game is that at the surface, it appears to be just another idle game. However, offline idle games with no comp tend to be just a wee bit worse than online idle games. I'm glad to see this game move in another right direction. Anyway, no critique to the actual game, but the ads are horrendous. Mobile games are usually much worse so credit is due there. None of this is actually meant to be said about the game, but I oly downloaded it to complain about the strange advertisements. At least it isn't Evertale-level of ads. Actually, it's still false advertising as far as the beginning of the game goes. The whole concept of it being an idle game but a player controlling footage in the (did I mention multiple yet?) ads is already incorrect. I hope this review helps 6•12•22
I want to share my honest review of a game that I recently played. Normally, I don't bother giving reviews as most games are just cash grabs, but this one left a bad taste in my mouth. The game is completely backwards in its concept. The goblins only level up one at a time, so even if you have a level 10 or 11, upgrading will only take you to level 11 or 12. And to top it off, the weekly events require players to level up quickly to get rewards, which is impossible without spending money. I tried to play fair and spent some money to give the game a fair chance, but it's just not worth it. To achieve first place in the weekly events, you need to spend $50-$60 every two days. The game is designed to push players to spend money. It's not worth your time or energy as it doesn't make sense. You can only use 2-3 goblins at a time, and the mines in the game are too small. Even at level 15-16, I couldn't utilize the game fully. I just wanted to share my honest review to help other players avoid this game. It's not worth your time or money. If you're looking for a game to enjoy and have fun, this is not it.
The mini game in the video is a bulldozer getting to upgrade and then getting a bigger bulldozer so getting more more stuff out of a pile to upgrade and the actual game is you just pick away at Roxy you don’t get to do anything and all the bonuses that you earned don’t carry over and then you get a little tiny thing that crush bonus game is the same and you crushed the rocks and the bonuses you get don’t help you with all or carry on into the next level and money that it takes to do things is hundreds of millions, but it’s just the same thing with like over and over again and it takes longer longer therefore it’s simply the same thing every level and the bonus game is also the same. Every time is not near as the videos that are Clickbait because they never have anything to do with the game that you see in the video where the tractor that scoops all the money into the collector, which is the game I would like to play that looks at a mini game at least I’m not having to level up my castle 30 times like everything else. I usually play just to get to a mini game.
As others have noted, the gameplay is not as advertised as it is a top down idle game with very different graphics than shown in ads. That being said, I still found it to be a fun game to kill time periodically. The reason for the low star is the deliberately deceptive game mechanic surrounding in-game events. The event leaderboard is intentionally vague so you do not know how many points other players have. If you secure a top three spot (which is only possible by spending actual money for most events), you will have no way of knowing if the person behind you is closing in or if you have a reasonable chance at securing the top spot. This results in increased spending to maintain positions that may not even be necessary or to try to secure positions that would actually require significant spending ($100+ easily) to “catch up.” You also have no way of knowing if you are up against actual players versus bots created to drive spending. Efforts to find out more specific information on the leaderboard dynamic lead to evasive answers. Support has taken the position that providing specific information on the leaderboard is somehow “unfair” to players. Incredibly scammy practices.
The adds make it look like fun, you control the action with a little touchscreen joystick and move your goblin(s) all around, hacking at ores, running over and collecting the rewards that stack beautifully on your back, then depositing them into your buildings for more goblins and better upgrades. Everything from the graphics, animations, camera angle, and promise the ad delivers is missing from the actual game. In reality it is a flat, two dimensional, tap-tap game where you do nothing but tap the screen as the goblins slowly, gruelingly, hack away at ores then stand there idly waiting to be dragged over to the next ore while you tap on the gold pieces. There is no puzzles where you mines through numbered blocks to collect pickaxes to increase your own pickaxe strength, no great big bulldozers you can control and rip through different ores and gems then collect them in the trunk, none of it. Plain and simple, false advertising for a bland and boring game with maybe 10% of the same art assets used in the fake ads. Despicable. Gonna be contacting the USFTC and opening a claim because I’ve had it with these money grubbing mobile games falsely advertising their weak products.
Fake ads. Not even remotely close to gameplay. This company lies blatantly about their content. Maybe put the time you put into LYING to a consumer base into the GAME CONTENT. Tactics like this are comparable to spending months planning to cheat on a test when you could’ve just studied. It’s outrageously poorly thought out as a business model when people delete the game almost instantly BECAUSE you lied, and YOUR game isnt one they want to play. Why would you want people who are going to rate you poorly for lying to play your game? Maybe think before you act next time. Either take down your fake ads, make the gameplay ACTUALLY what you’re advertising, or genuinely, go out of business. Therapy and education for everybody in charge of this app would be a good choice, too, given that the level of incompetence from them is astounding. Side note: stop gaslighting reviewers in your responses. You are LIARS. Your ads are NOT “confusing” as you incessantly spout to refuse responsibility for your BLATANT LIES; a LARGE percentage of your ads are COMPLETE FABRICATIONS UNRELATED TO THIS APP. PERIOD. Seek professional help. You are literally perpetuating narcissistic abuse via gaslighting. You ARE the problem, and it’s inexcusable.
