I only care about idle miner tycoon

Over the last several months, I have built up an incredible fortune within this game. It’s safe to say idle miner has completely taken over my life, in the best possible way. When I first started playing this game I never thought I would enjoy it. I had seen the ads and thought it was a boring looking game. But I finally succumbed. I was almost instantly hooked. I went my first two weeks of idle miner tycoon without talking to anyone (except my beloved managers: Cody Casner, Kecia Kindig and Earl Evelyn to name a few). After getting this blessed game, my social life went to zero; and hey, I’m not complaining! I had been needing something to use to escape, something to get away from it all, and the coconut water just wasn’t doing it for me anymore. This game was truly a blessing in that regard, a gift from god. It makes me feel like god! I have control over someone else for the first time in my life. I just sit back and watch as my incredible persevering miners just keep mining—how do they do it anyways? I feel that my relationship with my workers in idle miner tycoon is not a controlling one, but one of compassion. My addiction to this game has frankly ruined my life. But you know what, I don’t care anymore. Idle tycoon IS my life. I love my managers. I love my workers. Let us pray they never stop their all-preserving mining!

Please Read My Epic Idea

I play idle miners almost every single day and wonder to myself how could this game be better and more fun. And I thought well I like having rare things that my friends don’t have. So I thought well how can this feeling be in game like Idle Miners. So why not have rare Managers with special abilities that are obtained by a special event. I don’t know what are gonna be managers name and event name but I know you guys can come up with something good. The Mangers should have a unique custom look that makes them look RARE. And The abilities should last forever But they will not be over powered. for example one Rare manager should have the ability to make the miner it is assigned to, have 10% faster mining speed, 10% faster walking speed and 10% larger loading size. these numbers are just an example and can change it to something more realistic. Im sure you guys can come up with More unique managers. I don’t recommend to make too many. Make only Like 6 rare managers so that it deserves the title “Rare”. I Hope that this Idea can be part of some update some day because i really like to play Idle Miners and this has to be an idea worth putting in the game. Interesting game but rigged

As an idle game, it is an interesting game and is enjoyable. If you just want to kill some times a day, don’t play this game unless you don’t care for progress or events. I deducted two stars due to a lot of lags in the game after watching a video. It can take from 15 seconds to a minute before the game can be fully controlled again. This issue starts after you have been playing the game for a while (around the time you open Ruby mine or so). Another issue is similar to any gacha game, rigged. How rigged? I spin the free wheel which happens once a day and I got the lowest prize in consecutive 5 days. And last but not least, the game keeps forget idle time when I get back online after I wake up. So all the idle time is never counted; thus no coins gained but those in-game selling pop ups instead. Overall the game concept is nice as an idle game. Fast pace. But it could be frustrated and it lives with ads. Stuff is not cheap. Though I spent about $3 to try some stuff out. If you want to compete in their event, be prepared to spend some money or you won’t get much but if you all F2P and chill, then it is a game for you. Update: The game still crashing from time to time. The new event promotion pop up is ruining the game because it replaces idle money, so you get no money if you switch map. Overall the game is not really what I would recommend to others yet.

Too many VERY long ads to progress in game

I have enjoyed this game, I really have. But after playing for several months I have gotten to a point where if I don’t “boost” production, the game goes nowhere. So I’m stuck watching ads. I often play at night when my partner is asleep and the white background ads are VERY bright and you have to click “next” four (yes, I said 4) times every 13-14 seconds to clear them. So it is basically a full minute ad. Ads should be 30 seconds MAX with an option to skip after 5-10 seconds. I then come read reviews and find that other reviewers have complained about way too many long ads for YEARS. Which tells me you’re not listening to your customer base. There has to be a balance between making money and keeping your customers happy. I can’t say I’ll play much longer if the ad scheme doesn’t change FAST. And because you’ve ignored your reviewers for years, I don’t have much hope. No one wants to play a game where over half of the active time playing that game is watching ads that don’t pertain to me. I don’t have metastatic breast cancer or ulcerative colitis. I don’t listen to podcasts, I play games. Decent games. The white background ads have GOT to go. I’m actually relieved when the ads don’t work and I watch the digging man for 30 seconds to get the boost. That’s really sad. I’m bummed because I really enjoyed this game for about the first 2 months.

Great game but it does have a couple of down sides.

I have been playing idle miner for about 5 months or so now. I love the game it a great way to pass time very simple but addictive. There are a few issues though. Firstly as I said I have been playing for about 5 months daily and have only ever gotten 4 legendary chests and out of those I have only ever gotten 1 legendary worker. You can’t get the legendary worker cards to lvl them up and they basically become useless. My common workers are at least double that of the legendary workers. Secondly the event mine prizes have gone way down hill you used to get so much more in prizes for completing the mine and why is there no legendary chest in the prizes for fully completing the mine? They did add daily log in prizes in which at the end of it is a legendary chest which is great but it isn’t helping players as much as intended. Third mines can only be prestiged 5 times and for most of us our idle cash comes from upgrading mines trying to save 4800 cash for legendary chests but what happens when mines are maxed out how do you get idle cash? Getting idle cash from expeditions is a very long slow process and probably wouldn’t keep players playing. I really do love the game and shall continue playing if it wasn’t for these couple of issues I would easily give the game 5 stars. So devs if your out there and listening any solutions to these issues?

Suggestions!

Heya! Please read to the end! I play idle miner everyday, and I have some suggestions. One, with the collect all button, we should be able to collect all our stuff without unlocking all our mines. We can’t because we have to unlock the mines! That’s ridiculous. We should be able to unlock the button when we buy the gold mine! Two, the event mine money should be converted into our regular mine money. If that would happen, the event mine would have more of a purpose. Three, I unlocked the mainland mine and I need to buy dawn continent gears for research. It says you need to unlock the dawn continent. Ok how am I supposed to get more income if I can’t buy the gears?! Four, why do super managers cost so much? I know they are better managers but really? One hundred green gems? You have to replay every mine and you don’t even keep the shards you made! I was at aw and I have to start all over. Sure we can keep our money for the regular mines but not for the mainland mine?? That seems unfair. Five, the chests are great, the rare chests give me epic cards sometimes but I think the chests are overpriced. The idea to earn super cash by working in your mines, but 400 super cash for a common chest?? Seriously overpriced! Most of the time you don’t even get rare cards from it. I would recommend this game, it just needs A LOT MORE!

Stay away from this game! Awful updating of the platform

I’ve been playing this game for a couple of years. I’ve easily invested hundreds of dollars during that time, to advance through the game. It used to be fun and entertaining, and I had no issue supporting the developers, although I sometimes felt guilty for spending so much on it. As of the past four or six months, the game platform has consistently been getting more glitchy, and the money required to finish events, or get a super manager, has steadily increased, when Instead they shortly be figuring out ways to make the platform more reliable. Just today, I spent some cash on the Black Friday offers, and was considering spending more to get the new SM, when suddenly it is impossible to change continents or mines, without the system kicking you out. In the past, I used to be able to log back in after the first kick, but today I’ve tried it no less than 5 times, and every time I try to switch from Frontier to Elemental, I get kicked out. Utterly frustrating and completely unacceptable. If you’re contemplating playing this game… please don’t… unless frustration brings you joy. The only reason I give it two stars, is because I did get enjoyment the first year I played it. But if it had started as it is today, I would not have spent a dime.

Recent update purely for monetization

The most recent update for this game made a big change to the “chest” feature. Players could previously buy legendary chests and were told exactly what they would receive. Each chest came with a legendary card, which justified its high in game currency cost. Now, however, they mad it a 50% chance to get a legendary card, which means I will now waste half of the money I have spent hours collecting in game on useless cards just for the hopes of a legendary card. They did this purely so people would waste real money to buy more chests because they can’t get they cards they need now on the first shot. They tried to justify this by saying the other chests will have better cards but any card other than legendary is useless and the epic chest only gives a 5% chance of a legendary card while costing half the cost of a legendary chest (which is already too expensive). This seriously disappointed me because they have changed over to this “loot crate” system that has plagued the gaming world in the last few years. They now expect their players to waste half the money they grind for on basically nothing. This was a dirty move and changed a 5 star game into a 2 star game overnight. Nothing pisses a player off more than a greedy company and this is the definition of greed. For new players it is not as catastrophic, but for those at higher levels it was a vital game feature to advance in the game.
