The first time I heard about this a year ago it was awesome

The first time I heard about this was when I was in the middle of a trip to Europe with my family in a few years ago I was in the same position with my parents when they asked if we were in a hotel room or a restaurant in a hotel or whatever they wanted to know what we wanted for the next day I said no one asked for a meal at all so we just had a meal together or a dinner together we had dinner at the restaurant or a meal or a meal at a bar at a bar we went somewhere or a movie at the day at the beach I went somewhere to do a bar somewhere or whatever so it wasn’t like I just wanted a good thing of the restaurant that we could do a restaurant in a bar at that time but then the restaurant I put the restaurant I didn’t want anything to be like I didn’t know if you were in a bar I just didn’t know if we were in the bar or a restaurant that we went there were like what happened so we oooooopened it just wanted something like I didn’t even think it just like a lot to eat it just kind like that we had dinner or a movie so yeah but like we had to get some thing I just thought it just didn’t want it I was just a couple drinks so yeah but yeah I’ll get some stuff to make sure it’s not a bad deal for us(this whole essay/paragraph was/is fake none of it was real sorry about that but I was bored)

Fun but lacking…

Really great concept. Fun game loop while you’re in the level. Really satisfying to watch the grass get cut. However everything else about this game is lacking. There are only 30 short levels and they are all roughly the same. This is a problem as a max 3-star rating can yield you 5 diamonds which is the only way to level your vehicle. The game on completion gives you the ability to upgrade once and 40 diamonds left over with the next vehicle set at 1200 diamonds. So your only way forward is micro transactions. There are power ups throughout the level so I had to use those to progress which each come with a 30 second ad. Before each level (30 times this happens) you’re hit with the same micro transaction advertisement. Which I finally did pay the $9.99 on top of the $3 to turn off ads. All in all, this is a half baked game with frequent enough crashes and poor user interface design. There is a severe lack of content the whole game can be played in about 2 hours once you are not gated by your gear progression. I would probably skip this unless there is new content and updates coming but… I’m not holding my breath.

Enough with all the ADS already!!!

I realize that for us to play free game apps that developers have to run ads but it’s bad enough on game apps where you have to watch a 30 second ad after completing each stage which is when I delete the game app BUT my gosh guys, you interrupt the middle of my game not just once but multiple times during just one level or stage which most gamers would agree just messes up your whole game and throws you off track usually especially on the harder levels. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS you have this many ads and have your game interrupted multiple times in the middle of a level. The sad part is that this could be such a fun game and I enjoy playing it and would probably give it 5 stars even if I had to watch an ad after every level like most game apps but you all have over done it with the ads but I’m still gonna give it 2 stars instead of just 1 star like I do on the very few times I find a game app that interrupts your game in the middle to run an ad and this is the most ads I’ve ever encountered in a game app. And maybe you do that intentionally so it’s harder for us to pass levels but I was only on level 1 and I’ll bet most players are like me who instantly delete an app that has too many ads which is why I bet you only have about 5%-10% of the players playing this game regularly of what potentially you could have if you just ran ads between each level like most games and I seldom if ever take time to write a review but I had to in this

Too Many Ads

This game is actually a lot of fun and can help ease time when bored. There are two problems that come with this game. 1. Way, way, way too many ads. Not short ads, but long ads. They have this trick in the first level where they ease you into the game and make it seems like an easy play, but level 2, it’s an ad every 30 seconds. Usually you can turn cellular data off for the game and avoid ads, just not get any power ups or multipliers. Unfortunately in this game, if you do this, the game will not work. A pop up comes us and prevents you from playing until you turn cell data back on or connect to a wifi network. This is cheap and a ridiculous ploy to get you to either pay them money to remove ads, or force you to play with them so they can get money for each ad. It’s frustrating and a nuisance. 2. Each level will introduce a new feature to the game that makes the game more enjoyable, but what they don’t tell you is that’s the only time it will be free. As soon as you progress to the next level, that new feature, it can only unlocked by watching yet another ad, or using gems. It’s a fun game, but a lot of frustrating nuisances that prevents it from being a complete game.

Could be a fun time killer but…

So it’s sad that the game is actually a fun little time waster but the ads are terrible. It would be fine if the adds were only for extra upgrades where you could choose but nope. They appear pretty much every minute or two. I wouldn’t even mind the forced ads as much if it were just something small like going to another level but the fact that it’s every 1-2 minutes is annoying and makes me want to not play the game. Like I understand the developed need money but come on. This is just ridiculous for no offense a pretty low effort time killer app that have the same cheap style as hundreds of other cheap ad infested little time killer games that basically rule half of the App Store. It would be fine if you could disconnect from the internet but nope, the app doesn’t let you even though it’s clearly not a game you need internet for. Anyways solid time waster game but is brought down by the obnoxious amount of forced ads

Add and crashed ruin this

This has the potential to be a good game but ads, crashes and redundancy hold it back. Maybe the frustrating ads are the marketing ploy they use to get you to buy the no-ad version. If so, it worked. I enjoyed the game enough to pay $9.99. There’s just something satisfying about cutting grass. However there are still bugs related to the ads. Often when I watch an ad to get free power-ups, there isn't a close button to get rid of the ad once it’s done. This forces me to close the app and loose any progress for that level. The game also freezes from time to time resulting in lost progress for that level. Additionally the levels are basically the same with some thicker grass as you move along. Collecting diamonds needed to buy better equipment or animals takes an unreasonable amount of time. However like most games you have the option to spend “real” money to purchase them. Unfortunately I don’t like any game that much. I hope the creators listen to some of the complaints here (which all seem the same) and make some updates.

Deceiving ads led me to spending money, fake restore purchase button!

I got the game because the ads made it seem like I would get a new vehicle OFTEN as I progressed through the game, this was far from the case. After spending money ($10!) on a little feature and to remove ads (because you cannot play more than a minute without being interrupted by a 30 second ad!), I played and found that every time I opened a world I got an ad for the game itself! While not a traditional advertisement, it was still a pop-up enticing you to spend money! Then when I wanted to restore my purchase (about two hours after making the purchase) because I was done with this predatory game design, I found that the restore purchases button was fake and didn’t even function! It’s ridiculous, I only made the purchase with in mind that I could get my money back if it turned out to be bogus, which it did. I absolutely want my money back, this is outrageous and I can guarantee the developers that I will look into whatever I can do possible to get that money back or file a claim on apples end. Money isn’t cheap!

The cons greatly outweigh the pros. It’s like an elephant vs an ant in a weigh test.

A very satisfying and cool concept for a game ruined by ads and the necessity to pay real money. I was enjoying the satisfying feel as I cut the grass, it was genuinely enjoyable and relaxing. When I cashed in my money I went to go see how much upgrades were going to cost me. This is where I found out that the only way to upgrade your lawn mower thing was through ads. I decided to watch one add and it was another add for a similar feeling game. Knowing I did not want to continue watching ads I decided to cut some more grass, this is where it started, for the next 5 minutes I was getting constant ads lasting about 30 seconds each, popping up around 20 seconds apart. Many of the ads were in another language making it so I did not know what button to press in order to exit. This constant stream of ads was enough to get me to delete the game. 2/10, would not recommend unless you are fine watching a massive amount of ads. The SCP foundation needs to look at this game just in case the mass of ads is something more than what meets the eye.
