Free Fire MAX is Garena's 'premium' answer to the battle royale craze, and the Naruto crossover is easily its most ambitious update to date. While the core game remains a fast-paced, 50-player survival shooter, the Naruto integration goes far beyond simple skins. The addition of 'Keepsakes' like Pain Tendo's gravitational manipulation or Itachi's genjutsu illusions actually changes the tactical meta of the game.

Visually, the MAX version shines with Ultra HD textures that make the Hidden Leaf Village reconstruction look stunning. The 10-minute match format is still the game's greatest strength, offering a more condensed and action-packed experience than PUBG or Fortnite. Lobby Freeze issues

This game is super fun to play but ever since the game has updated there has been issues. While in the lobby talking to other players, or even doing emotes the game will freeze out of nowhere. Causing everything to freeze but you can still hear the other player or the player in the group character will disappear but you can still hear them as well. I’ve been playing this game for over 6-7 years & I’ve never had a problem till now. Also my volume says that it’s “Low” while in matches which I’m not understanding because before it never did that & my volume is up 100% but people still have a hard time hearing me. It’s so frustrating with the new update meanwhile I just want to play for fun! Garena PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS BUG! Also it also says “Network Error” Not sure why because I have a steady network & WiFi that works just fine so I’m not understanding that either, just so many bugs within this update that doesn’t make the game enjoyable as it once was before this update.

Unbalanced and Overpowered Characters Ruin the Experience

I’ve been playing Free Fire for a while now, and I have to say, I’m extremely disappointed with the game’s character system. The characters’ skills are so unbalanced and overpowered that it completely ruins the experience for me. It feels like certain characters have a significant advantage over others, making it frustrating and unfair for players who don’t have access to these overpowered characters. This seriously impacts the game’s balance and enjoyment. I understand that game developers want to create unique characters with distinct abilities, but the current implementation feels like it favors a pay-to-win model. Players who can afford to unlock these powerful characters have a significant advantage over those who don’t, creating an uneven playing field. Moreover, it seems like the developers have not taken adequate measures to address these balance issues despite player feedback. The lack of response to community concerns is disheartening and makes me question the commitment to creating a fair and enjoyable gaming experience. I had high hopes for Free Fire, but the frustrating character system has pushed me to the point where I can no longer enjoy playing. Until the developers make significant changes to balance the characters’ skills, I cannot recommend this game to others. I hope this review sheds light on the issues with the game’s character system, and I sincerely hope the developers take action to improve the overall experience for all players.

I honestly do not get how this game has esports. There is no first person option. There is no gyroscope aim. And the Auto aim is my biggest enemy. I could be aiming just above an opponent’s head and it will aim at the opponent’s chest. Then I have to fight it to get a head shot. I literally have to fight the crosshair because of the auto aim. I do not like missing head shots and I have realized it is so much more difficult in this game because there is no gyroscope and it sticks way to much to the chest of an opponent. I could basically aim a finger length away from my opponent and it will auto lock onto the opponent’s chest. Please at least get rid of auto aim for ranked games it is absolutely ridiculous. Also add gyroscope aim. A first person option would be great. These three little things would make this game worth playing. It would make this game the best shooter game on the App Store. I got this game because of all the esports tournaments. Don’t get me wrong. I love this game. That is why I’m writing a review. I want it to improve. This game has a lot of awesome features like being able to customize your character’s appearance and add several passive skills through other characters you have obtained. Then there are these cool pets you can get that add additional passive skills. I basically turned my character into a tank with all kinds of health skills. I also like that it is not that play to win. This is because all the gun skills in the game have both pros and cons. For example if a gun skin adds damage it might also reduce range or magazine.

Hacker issues and developers don’t care

I’ve been playing this game for over three years and have advanced my character significantly but after three years I noticed the increase of hacking. Now when I play I notice when there are hackers in the game you have no chance to win or even survive. The only penalty these hackers face is a minimal negative mark on their reputation. It does nothing and shows how you don’t care about the people spending money. I know you can do more to stop this but you don’t. I’m sure the loss of people, like me, who spends real money will hurt this franchise so that is why I wrote this. DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS GAME. Also as the developers changed the seasons skins and clothing purchased is sometimes taken away, even if purchased with REAL money. So you’ve wasted my money too. I looked pass that in the past because I love the game but now it’s too much. YOU KNOW OF THE HACKERS BUT REFUSE TO HAVE ACTIVE MODERATORS TO KICK THEM OUT. Maybe you will take better care of your real clients (people who spend money) after some time with no income from this highly played game. Make a choice. The hackers or your clientele. The hackers don’t pay money. We do. Im sure you will not change since you haven’t after multiple complaints. I want all my money back and if you spent any money… you should ask for yours as well.

Fun But Unfair

The game is really fun to play with lots of different modes and gun skins. However, the game often pairs more experienced players with new players. This is fine in the low stakes matches but when in ranked mode this is simply unfair. In these ranked matches there will often be players without internet who are AFK or bots. Garena leaves these players in the match and forces the other team to go against a full team of four. If a player is afk for more than one round kick them out! Or end the match! My rank should not suffer for other people not having internet. In addition, as a player in the North America region, I see that my region does not have the same access to events and diamond opportunities as in other regions. In order to get literally anything players have to spend money in real life for diamonds. Lastly, many of the exclusive outfits are only for male characters. If I spend my diamonds on an exclusive skin I as a female player would like to play as a female character but then I can’t use my very expensive outfit because I’d have to play as a male character. It’s degrading and this is part of the reason why there isn’t a larger female player base. Make this game more equal!

I’ve been playing this game since 2018, I LOVE it. My complains about it, it’s the abilities, because it used to be competitive only because abilities weren’t so weird. The purpose of having a gloo wall goes to trash because of the ability that makes it so that you can kill people through it. Dimitri has me SICK along with Sonia, but the fact that you keep lowering Tatsuya’s ability for NO reason. What’s the purpose? now you can only use it once every 2 minutes, you can’t run away from the zone or enemies like you used to. The rank itself was fine but putting SO MANY? Too much, that makes it harder and tires me out. Veterans left because competition was gone after you started putting abilities, not rankings.

My review. A player that’s been around since the 3rd anniversary.

So when I first started playing I immediately fell in love with this game. It was fun, challenging, social and you had to get used to the system of the game to actually get good. Around the start of 2022 I started losing interest since they removed the world chat. I loved the world chat since I could talk to other people and team up. And I met some great people to. However you do have to pay money to get things such as cool emotes and cosmetics. Funny enough I spent around $150 USD. I left the game. Why? Toxic players, scammers, dull gameplay, boring game modes, and boring maps (excluding Bermuda. I loved that map with all my heart.) since then I came back to the game twice just to uninstall again. it hurts seeing my favorite mobile game destroy itself. Then again it’s hardly an uncommon fate. If someone is reading this and your thinking about downloading this game then I recommend you should, if you like a third person shooter and interesting system that takes time to get used to. Might get boring after a while though.

Dear Support Team, I am writing to formally complain about an issue that has been happening repeatedly and is significantly affecting my gaming experience. My Pride rank drops suddenly even though I am not leaving matches intentionally. The game often loads up to 99%, but then it fails to enter me into the match. After that, I am surprised to see a severe decrease in my Pride rank, as if I had quit the game on purpose. Additionally, whenever there is a connection interruption, my Pride rank decreases multiple times. This feels extremely unfair, as I am being punished for something that is not under my control. We live in an area where the internet connection is weak, and occasional disconnections can happen. However, it is very frustrating and discouraging to be penalized repeatedly because of this. Over the past two days, every time I started a match, the loading reached 99%, then the game prevented me from entering. Each time, my Pride rank dropped significantly. This issue is unbearable and very upsetting. I kindly ask you to review this system and distinguish between players who intentionally leave matches and those who are prevented from entering due to technical issues or weak internet connections. Please resolve this issue as soon as possible. I would also like to understand why I have to wait several days before I am able to play with my friends again. It is very disappointing to be restricted from playing due to a problem that is not my fault.
