Zooba is a chaotic, hilarious, and surprisingly tactical take on the battle royale genre. By shrinking the player count and giving every character a distinct personality and kit, it avoids the 'walking simulator' feel of larger BRs. Playing as Bruce the Gorilla feels appropriately heavy and powerful, while Nix the Fox is all about hit-and-run tactics.

The map design is clever, using 'zoo' environments like tall grass and water to create genuine stealth opportunities. The progression system is robust—perhaps a bit heavy on the crates and timers—but the gameplay itself is so polished that you'll keep coming back for 'just one more match.' It’s the perfect middle ground between a MOBA and a Battle Royale.

need better match making

great game, it’s easy to get new characters if you try really hard with the path of paws and the free pass but the match making is literally terrible, i have a new character lvl 7 and somehow there are still lvl 18 to even 20 joining the same server i am which it’s literally impossible to beat those lvl characters even with a full team against them. it’s as easy as inviting one high lvl character (lvl 15-20) on my team with four other characters (lvls 4-10) to beat everybody in the game lobby but i see that as exploiting and abusing yalls bad match making because tbh it’s unfair and everyone deserves a fair chance to win the game by fighting other characters around the SAME lvl as you not TEN lvls above you. i also refuse to spend up to $100 on an new character, even when you put it on sale it’s the most ridiculous price! sooo moment hungry i won’t even pay for the battle pass. not to mention the fact that the more gems you acquire the more everything costs in the store so if you have 500 gems and there’s a new skin in the shop for 600 gems you’ll never be able to get it for actual 600 gems bc once you get 600 gems it’ll now cost you 100 more they just keep it going so that you have to spend money to buy gems to get that new skin even tho they advertise it for a certain amount they up the price once you have the money/gems for something bc they’re soo money hungry with this game.. but just fix the match making so i can enjoy this game like i have been for the past couple years..

I Miss The Old Zooba

I love zooba, but there is some cracks in it. I am on Level eleven but I only have NINE characters. I have a few friends that are on level 9 or something lower than me and they at least have 4 more characters than me. I don’t know if it was something I did, but I feel like I should at least have some character opportunities. And just to say, If someone dose not read this, I think I might not even get Henry, Frank, Elaine, Suzy, or Romeo. Another thing is I really miss the old Zooba. I have been playing longer than I can even remember. I miss the old faces of Fuzzy, Molly, Shelly, and Nix. Also can you please add a sloth? Sloths are my favorite animal. And the thing they can do is scratch characters with their very sharp claws, but since that’s kinda what Jade does I thought maybe you can like add algae so it gets other animals effected, kinda what iris and Romeo do?I don’t care if it’s a girl or boy but if it’s a girl the name can be Sofia and if it is a boy, it can be Sebastian. Also you can get him or her on level 14. The skin you get when you are on level ten should be a leaf costume. And another skin should be the sloth in a green robe in white bunny slippers and it could be called Lazy Sofia (Or Sebastian) Well I know that was long but please fix everything thank you! Also who ever said they were ads in the game, ( please don’t be offend!) There is actually no ads in my game, maybe it’s just for you...only to get coins and gems in the right corner, those are they only ads I have.

This game started out great, the crates gave you an amount of coins that was viable in character progression and the matchmaking was ok, since they announced the great “changes” that were coming it has suffered a lot. They took away the coin amounts from crates to “level” the unfair advantage but it only hurts lower level players and then raised the amount of coins needed to upgrade characters in the new character progression. The trophy loss and matchmaking was supposed to be fixed and have seen nothing of the sort. I unfortunately have put a few $100 into this game and it was absolutely not worth it at all, save your money! If I wasn’t so invested in this game I would have deleted it by now, it’s more frustrating than enjoyable which is a shame because when I first got it I enjoyed the game ALOT! Since the big update last year it has gone downhill quickly and new character introduction do not make up for what appears to nothing more than a money machine for the developers and their friends. If you are not already heavily invested I would encourage you to wait and see if they actually fix the issues with this game. Add on to all of that they now have in game ads! That is a new addition that is quite frustrating because they were NEVER there until a few weeks ago so apparently now I am supposed to pay for the premium pass to be ad free…disappointing!

I have been playing this game for a couple of years, and personally love everything about it. Whenever I had a rough day, and just need to take my mind off things I play this game. I love how they are always adding new characters, skins, and emotes. I disagree with people who don’t like the match making, and think it is fun because you never know who you will get teamed up against, and in the end it’s all a game if we’re going to be real. I also love the adrenaline of the idea of loosing trophies if you don’t survive a certain amount of time, and gaining them if you survive farther. This game has no ads (unless you choose to for rewards), and although there are many things that you can purchase, it is more of a play to win than a pay to win. In closing, I definitely recommend this game, but a piece of advice, don’t give up because there are sweats all the time. All you have to do is practice for a couple of weeks, and after a while you will get into the medium level matches where there are a lot less sweats, and you won’t tend to encounter them until you become one (yes, there are more sweats in the beginner matches than the more average player matches, because all you have to do is not have a lot of trophies with a new character to access these matches again). I was not paid to make this review, and I hope it helps encourage more to play this game I love.

Hello, I’m going to talk about things you should do for free to play players first of all, put the same level as the characters in a match as everyone else is because when you’re trying to play, let’s say your level seven on a character and you trying to play you go on as you’re about to win but there a character that’s level 13 like how is that fair that’s paid to win. You need to fix this because you’re just trying to have fun, but there’s a player who’s pay to win and he just wins like that like you need to put the person who’s in the same level as a game as everyone’s the same level look I don’t know if you understand, but it’s really annoying when you’re trying to play a player he’s like level 17 killing you like that’s not fair and second of all I understand you guys are trying to make free to play players be happy by all these events and but the ticket I don’t understand like give them Morgan five give them six cause at the same time they’re trying to get the things, but it’s hard cause same problem as last time how your people were higher levels you guys need to fix this, but at the end of the day it’s a great game and I hope to see more characters and the one more thing you should give out some characters to free to play that might sound crazy but the same time what matters is that players are happy the people who play your game are happy because they’re gonna play more if you give them free characters like not too much cause they still gotta play the game but yeah, so this is good things I think you should fix and yeah game

DEAR ZOOBA DEV :(updated text) It’s so hard playing this game once you get to a certain point like at league 13-20 also when you have a lot of trophies that’s when the match making get hard because people would by pass it by making their trophies low to join small level players while their level 16-20 which is really annoying and makes the game unfair for the small level players that are level 10-12 going against level 15+ player it’s already hard to pass leagues and go higher to get better rewards in stuff but fighting against level high players when your character is really small makes it even harder and stresses me out especially when people have all the OP items so please Zooba fix the match making plwase allow every level player to play in a level group like level 1-5 players fight each other level 5-8 go against and level 12-15 ya know? ,SO PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE ZOOBA TO MAKE THE GAME GOOD FOR ALL edit: there’s also a lot of people who Would double team me even tho it’s not team mode its solo can you please add a report button or something to stop the teaming on solo cus it’s really annoying how I would constantly die by two fuzzys or nix or other characters becuase people decides. To cheat and to Team up,Which is really unfair. Also to at least avoid level 20 people who obviously trys by passing by loosing trophies to go to small level servers to grind kills or something just take the loosing trophy thing off zooba or do the match making update I asked you to do please.

I LOVE zooba soooooo much and I’m addictive to this really fun game! I recommend it a lot!! 👍🏼👍🏼it’s really fun and entertaining and there’s a lot of stuff to do like leveling up and and playing other modes and clans and all the other stuff but there’s somethings I don’t really like about this game no offense! So something I know other people don’t like is really high level people because so many times this happen to me like one time when I was a level 5 I was playing with nix and I saw a level 16 frank and I was like oh nah do NOT get next to me and it’s just not fair for players. I would like if the game had a level or 2 or 3 tops or lower than the characters level and if that’s not possible then at least put CPU’s . Another thing I don’t like about this game is that it takes forever to level up once your character is a level 10 or higher it takes a pretty long time if you don’t buy any coins/gems but I did so my characters are pretty high level and it was pretty easy but I would like for the higher crates to be free for people that don’t want to pay but like obviously the higher the crate the more rare it is to get if they were for free. So over all I still LOVE THIS GAME but there’s just things I know other people don’t like about it too so we would really appreciate it if you did these updates and it would be a lot better 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 (also pls reply because In other games they never reply to my reviews 😕)

For a fact, I love the game zooba. It is a really fun game to play. But, there are some issues. #1 issue: Matchmaking The matchmaking is zooba, is not great. If you are at 1,200 trophies and are a level 8, 9, or even 10, your chances of surviving are very low. The only thing you can do to gain just a few trophies is hide in a bush or barrel because you will fight level 10s, 11s, 12s, 13s, and sometimes even level 14s!! So basically if you are playing and are in grandmaster and are lower than a level 10, you basically don't stand a chance. #2 issue: Crate chances Another thing i don’t like about zooba are the crate chances you have for getting a new character. The only way where you can just get new characters is from winning events, which is extremely difficult, or paying money. If you have 9 or 10 character you have a 1% chance of getting a new character from a gold crate!! And a 7% chance of getting from an emerald crate, or even a legendary crate!! I dont like the fact that, the more characters that you get, the less chance you have of getting more. It’s very difficult. But yeah, thats the point I’m trying to make. I really hope that soon, there will be some changes for these issues. If these issues would change, it would definitely be a big change, but in a good way. Overall, even though all of what i have said, i still really enjoy the game zooba. There are a few problems but I’m sure they will be fixed soon, and I definitely recommend this game for others.
