The depth comes from the hole design itself. You have to balance difficulty and aesthetic appeal, adding trees, bunkers, and decorations to improve your course's ranking. Watching your pixelated golfers struggle with a tricky water hazard or celebrate a hole-in-one is genuinely charming. My only minor gripe is the somewhat unpredictable AI of the golfers, who sometimes make questionable shots, but it rarely detracts from the overall enjoyment.
