Look, this game is difficult. I think they call it a rogue like which means you will fail often that is how the game is designed. that said, it is so fast and fun and quirky and cute and has so many different synergies to discover and unlock it is the perfect mobile game. I first started playing it on PC and got so excited when I saw it come to mobile so I’ve actually purchased this game two times but it’s so worth it and I play it so much more on mobile because it’s the perfect form factor for this game. I have failed hundreds of times I only recently made it to floor two for the first time so don’t be discouraged when you can’t pay your rent I keep playing because I like everything about this game. It’s just so cute and fast and easy and there is so much to unlock. I don’t know if I’ll ever make it all the way to level 20 or whatever the boss fight is and all the surprises that people talk about. It may take me thousands of games to achieve victory but that’s the point, just to play. This game is near flawless and perfect for mobile. It’s worth every penny. There’s nothing else quite like it, so just get this game already!
Don’t listen to the naysayers. There are 20 Ascension levels and a few item unlocks along the way. The game doesn’t say “you unlocked xyz capsule!” They just show up in your rolls through the first 7 levels I believe. Level 7 unlocks a new type of “item” that makes the game more fun too. Level 7 is also where you get another endgame surprise. (Trying not to spoil for those who don’t know) As well as new added challenges for each level 7-20. I had a BIG head start since I watched many videos of streamers on YT playing this game and it took me 68 games to beat Level 20. Don’t be discouraged! -Certain rare symbols early can carry you to a win(Ex: Early Diver=LOTS of common symbols for him to eat). -Certain item synergies can carry you to a win(Ex: Frying Pan: Two chickens=endless omelettes… add a Chef and loving life.) -Certain symbols also have very few synergies whereas other can help you grow exponentially, so choose wisely. Hope this helps somebody! And hope this game can evolve even more someday. :)
I’ve genuinely enjoyed this game, and I’m always happy to find an original game that doesn’t have any in-app payments or ads. But there are still ways it could be improved. More game modes or variation would be welcome, but if I had to make one change, it would be not having to do the “boss fights” every game. It would be nice if I could choose to go back to the game modes where rent keeps increasing until you can’t make it any more once you unlock the other version of endless It can also be a little frustrating to try to start a good run when none of the spins are meshing - in some ways it feels like there are too many options.
This game is very fun, addictive and is everything it claims to be. Looking forward to a sequel or remake. A few things I really appreciate about this game: - moves very fast and the math is calculated quickly, so you’re never really bored or made to wait but you do have to keep up. - lots of ways to succeed, you’re never pigeonholed into one better play style and you learn to love certain symbols you would’ve otherwise ignored. - as long as the app is still running, it’ll save your spot without having to reload. So if you’re playing at work or with any interruptions, it’s easy to pick up where you left off. - higher levels are not easy, so expect a challenge. -music and sound effects are great and make sense for where they fit into the experience
This is a really fun game and suited for mobile. Buy it if you want something offbeat and different, plus you get to show your support for quality indie games in the App Store. Unfortunately the game isn’t perfect, and my main complaint is that there is no meta progress in the game. Nothing changes from run to run. You don’t even unlock new items as you get into the higher levels. This feels like a missed opportunity and diminishes long term enjoyment of the game. That said it’s still a fun time and worth the $4.99 entrance fee.
This game has been such a refreshing gaming experience. One of the most unique games I’ve played in a while. This game has you failing time and time again without feeling like you’re not making any progress toward succeeding. Runs vary from I can’t believe how horribly this has gone to wow I didn’t think I was gonna pull this win out. Highly recommend spending the money for endless good times!
I applaud the developer for monetizing this game so fairly, with no ads, IAP, data collection or gimmicks. This game is enjoyable to play. Gives you a slots fix without spending actual money. It’s very chill, perfect for relaxing a bit. You definitely want to keep giving it another try. It seems really hard to win though. I try to create synergies, and that’s successful to a point, but if the right items don’t show up for you to choose, you simply won’t win. I can only go to floor four or five it seems. So that’s a bit frustrating. I realize this is a slot machine though, and you are at the whims of luck. If you aren’t lucky, you can’t win no matter how you strategize. Still, it’s enjoyable overall. I hope I can win sometime though!
Never given a mobile game a review, but after probably around 20 hours, and many floors, I still can’t get enough of this game. In my opinion it is even better than the PC version because of how easy the user interface is. This game was MADE for mobile. Everything is super smooth, no lag (even when you’re making 100k coins a spin). I have honestly never enjoyed a mobile game so much. The only thing that would be a great add, is the option to add some of the more popular mods from the PC version, just to switch things up every once in awhile. Cant wait to see what the future of this game holds on mobile if the beginning is already so close to perfection. Thank you developer for bringing this game to my phone!
