- Performance fixes for some devices
Egg Goes Right is the definition of 'frustratingly addictive.' It takes the simplest possible premise—move right and jump—and turns it into a grueling test of reflexes and timing. The minimalist art style is perfect because it removes all distractions, leaving you with nothing but your own mistakes to blame when you hit a spike for the twentieth time.
What I love is the instantaneous restart. There's no fluff, no loading screens—just a quick crack of the egg and you're back at the start or the last checkpoint. It’s a game that understands the 'just one more try' mentality. While it can be infuriating, the sense of relief when you finally clear a particularly nasty set of obstacles is genuine. It’s a pure, distilled arcade challenge for the masochistic gamer in all of us.
Challenging, reflex-based gameplay
Sleek minimalist art style
Dozens of levels with increasing difficulty
Competitive global leaderboards
Master the double jump early. Many gaps are too wide for a single hop, so tapping twice with the correct rhythm is the only way to progress.
Look for the golden flags. Passing these will save your progress, which is vital because the difficulty ramps up significantly in the later levels.
Yes, you can unlock different shells and hats by collecting coins throughout the levels.
The only complaint i have about this game is there aren’t enough levels. Everything else is perfection, from the sound effects to the simplistic graphics and physics. If you’re looking at reviews to see if you should download it, just do it. There’s no ads, it takes one finger to play, and it’s fun. A few things I would add; a timer to see if you can beat previous times, maybe a multiplayer mode to beat your friends which would add a lot of chaos and fun to the game, and I would add more levels.
Rage games are still supposed to have a proper difficulty curve. Rage games are still supposed to have somewhat lenient input periods in order to succeed at a jump or movement. This does not have either of those things. The first 5 stages are considerably easy, and then stage 6 may take 10 to 15 tries to memorize the inputs for (and you can still mess up on the last part if you fire slightly too early or late), and then stages 7 through 9 are easier again, and then stages 10 and 11 are a bit more difficult (which is fine), until stages 12 through 15 (especially 13) are extremely difficult or annoying to perform. Regarding 13, you need an almost frame-perfect input on the first “peg” in order to fire the egg through the hole on the right. If you fire too early, the egg will fall onto the last peg & then go onto the 4th or 5th peg (depending on whether or not you are holding) and if you start to hold or let go it will either fall through the floor or go back left. And if you fire too late, it will bounce off the wall back down onto either the 4th/5th peg again or the 3rd peg: firing or letting go of the 3rd peg leading back to it going onto the 4th/5th peg again with nothing to do about it. The thing that makes this even worse is that 14 is considerably easier than 13- as I was able to beat 14 on my first or second try. And then I didn’t even know what to do for 15 with no hints given by the game. It doesn’t even save your progress after you quit.
This game is so fun, endless pick up and play while you’re brain dead puzzles for when you wanna pass some time, I think everyone should try this game, or even put it on the iPhones on display in carrier stores. Just needs one touch. Please please please add a feature to start on the level you left off on, it could even be toggle able for people who want to restart every time, but I want to get to 100 without sitting down for an hour plus in one session
This game is so much fun! I really appreciate that there aren’t any ads. It’s certainly a rage game, though! Even so, I don’t get mad at it like I do with other rage games. The tiniest tweak I think the devs could add to make it better is to add haptics when the egg lands or when the platforms move. I’m not sure exactly where (I’m not the dev, you are!), but devs, hear my plea: please just add haptic feedback somewhere in your game. It’s so satisfying to my ADHD ridden brain. Thank you lol.
This is such a fun/rage baiting game I can’t get past 14:( but I love this game had it for like 5 or 6min and it’s great. I have some stuff that make the game a bit fun and different than it is . Mabey u could add some skins but if u were a hat it would affect ur egg or the egg could look different also I know u have the brakes but I’d really like a pause button it make it easier but that what I think love it :))))))) thx
This game is super simple, but very fun and even difficult at times. I WOULD say that this game could entertain you for hours, but unless you’re just incredibly terrible at games, it won’t take you very long to finish the game. There are only twenty levels! This game has so much potential, especially because of its offline capabilities and ad-free gameplay. However, I probably never play it again because I already finished after three days of playing for, maximum, 30 minutes!
Without a doubt the best little challenge I’ve ever played. I enjoyed the way you’re forced to keep going and enjoyed being punished for failing each level. I went from 11 all the way back to level 4 at one point and started to truly feel something. I’m so sad it ended so quickly. I need more.
Only 20 levels and 0 ads. If you're reading this, just get it. The game asks nothing of you and it's easy to get ahold of. It's only a levels but making it that you have to replay the previous level if you fail the current level is very cool. Akin to the Darksouls idea of you have to take back your losses. Not that it's anything Soulsborne. Great game!
