River City Girls on mobile is a fantastic port of one of the best modern beat-em-ups. For Crunchyroll Mega/Ultimate members, this is an incredible value. Playing as Misako and Kyoko feels fluid even on touchscreens, though the game truly shines when you pair a Bluetooth controller. The pixel art is stunning, and the synth-pop soundtrack is easily one of the best in gaming.

What makes RCG stand out from other brawlers is the 'light' RPG elements. Buying gear at shops, eating food to gain permanent stat boosts, and recruiting defeated enemies as 'Assists' adds layers of strategy beyond just 'punch everything.' The humor is sharp, the anime cutscenes are top-notch, and the inclusion of Crunchyroll-Hime as a shopkeeper is a nice touch for the mobile version. Aside from a slightly cumbersome login process, it's a near-perfect mobile port.

Definitely a great game, but playing RCG2 when I enter the movie theater to fight the boss the game is restarting to the menu screen I’m trying to figure out what’s happening can the developer reach out for assistance

Why is it that I’ve fought Misuzu like 15 times and it always crashes idk what it is but please fix this it’s a great game just why can’t I progress.

Just started, really liked it but the first boss was tough with my CRKD Neo S controller because double fwd to run is not reliable. Switched to PS5 controller and seems much better.
