Build to address an issue missed in 1.3.0 that affected the purchase and UI aspects of the game
Bloodline: Last Royal Vampire is a nostalgic trip for fans of classic mobile RPGs like Brave Frontier. It blends a stylish anime aesthetic with a deep, tactical turn-based combat system. The sheer volume of content is staggering, with over 400 heroes to collect, each with their own unique upgrade paths, Job Changes, and Tarot Card enhancements. The story—adapted from a popular manga—is actually engaging, following Lilo and Ren in their fight against the militaristic Holy Land.
The gameplay loop is very satisfying, offering a mix of PvE campaigns, intense Guild Wars, and cross-server PvP. While the game does have the typical 'gacha' hurdles and occasional power-creep (especially during collaboration events like Attack on Titan), the 'Play More, Grind Less' features like Auto-Battle and Raid help keep the experience from feeling like a second job. It’s a polished, content-rich RPG that honors its genre roots.
Over 400 characters to collect
Real-time Guild War battles

Auto-Battle and Raid features for easier grinding
Pay close attention to elemental attributes and character types. A well-balanced team with a strong leader (like Lilo) can counter specific boss mechanics and elemental weaknesses.
Use simple taps and swipes to unleash arcane abilities. Timing your 'Ultimate' moves is crucial for taking down tough bosses in both the campaign and the Arena.
Fate Links are special bonuses unlocked when you have specific combinations of heroes in your squad, providing powerful stat boosts.
To all of those who played Brave Frontier… you know the pain we felt when it was discontinued after 5 years… BUT! This game here, this is that with anime themed art styles. Absolutely fire, very similar to brave frontier so I highly recommend giving this game a try if you like turn based rpg. For the Devs : Please continue to keep this game going, maybe crossover with other anime? God of high school an other Crunchyroll exclusives? That would be sick. It would be nice to get units that have team damage mitigation. ( 30% team dmg mitigation? Could leave room for mechanics in boss fights where you can get wiped if you don’t have your special ability ready ) Also, eventually, can we get raids? Multiple players in one map, just like brave frontier? Multiple bosses you have to take down together, break parts to get loot drops ect. The game is amazing, I would just like a few more features when it comes to PVE, PLENTY of PVP in game and that’s already amazing enough. I just want this game to last, it’s too good.
Overall the game shows some promise down the road but as of right now, the game is really messy. There are TONS of characters in the game and it’s hard to see what they all do, which it makes things very hard to decide who to keep or use as food/exp. There are no filters in the collection to see who you want as your top few chars in a particular element. You can’t side scroll through them in this mode unlike the characters that are obtained. Skills aren’t shown on the main profile of the character but instead you have to click individually on the skill screen for each of them and then hit the back and scroll right , select , and hit skill again to see the upgrade abilities of the same character that isn’t just a simple stat boost, it’s almost a whole additional ability as an addition to the move that goes unseen from the skills shown on available characters at lower tiers. At first the simplest method is to use all the low star chars to use as exp but then when the best method of leveling is merging two maxed level, same star, chars to increase the level cap beyond the simple method of up tiering a character , it’s easy to delete a needed character material. Also said method is one of the longest grind method to maximize a particular character. With the expansive list and no particular stage to farm a character shard, a player would have to farm high amounts of tokens for a few shards to complete a moderately high requirement. Again, the events, dungeons, story are good but just explaining the details of the characters or even the explanation of upgrades are severely lacking in organization.
Hello, I would like to say I have had a lot of fun with this game. From character design to not being to much of a hand full with daily missions, it’s easy to keep up with. My only concern is even after a few months of Eren being out he still hasn’t been either rebalanced or someone to counter him atleast in the slightest. He breaks pvp for sure when someone like myself doesn’t have him and that is the only think I dislike, especially early game in the dungeon. Other then that I think the developers are very generous with tickets, gems, and good content to grab heroes! Thank you for your time!
Really wanted to be all in on this game, I love Brave Frontier style games. But this is the most poorly balanced game I’ve ever played. Currently the game is running Attack on Titan collab with character Eren being hands down the most powerful unit in the game by far, to the extent that he can single handedly wipe out whole teams of 70+ 5* characters even when low level. Not only does he gain bonuses to stats just for existing, he goes into perma SP titan mode which nearly doubles his stats AND regens his health if he’s team captain. Much of the game’s content utilizes other people’s team compositions, meaning you can get locked out of th games content if put against someone else with an Eren (even outside of pvp). Even worse, as a limited event character, if you don’t roll him, you’ll forever be worse than other people who did. There’s absolutely no competition and no point leveling any other character. You’re ONLY choice to be able to enjoy the game is to spend money rolling until you get Eren, then dump all resources into him and run that team forever and ever. Lame. No wonder this game originally shut down in 2015.
I went from a 3 star to a 1 star after finding out they are even using the same pictures for characters and adjusting their name slightly to where it’s a completely different character like hinaka the snoop and hinaka the thief! On a gacha game that’s a big no-no unless they are an advanced version or something but nope same rarity and everything, stats the same, everything besides the passive buff! Originally 3 star because good storyline and tolerable gameplay but the “similar but not quite” characters killed it for me on top of the following: Does not give enough gems to play free or even $5/week (only spent $3 thankfully)… 5 star chances seem lower than another game that has lower than 3% for a 5 star, I got 4 total and had to clear some character inventory already… Went to buy the monthly pass and it didn’t work at all… Went to buy the $8 event summon gem but it didn’t have enough details just that it draws from the event, not buying that… The further you progress the slower and slower battles are and they are not fast to start with…
This is a pretty good game so far. I played a bit and it is very reminiscent of another game called “Brave Frontier”. If you liked that game you’ll probably like this one as well. Another plus is that there will likely be future anime collars seeing as it’s a crunchy roll game. As of right now, the only issue I have is that the loading screens seem to be rather slow, taking anywhere from 4-8ish seconds to move onto the next screen after a battle. Other than that, I look forward to playing the game some more.
I played a bit after launch, and I do have a few thoughts. First, the dialogue and story seem very bland. Second, the entire game feels like a rip off of brave frontier, and some of the sound effects are the same (not even sure if that seems legally allowed?). However, I like the character models and portraits more in this than in Brave Frontier - I think the style is better. Third, it’s the second day, just tried to login, and my server is completely full and there are no others open. I feel like that’s too be expected with a new game, and I did notice that other servers are apparently under maintenance, but just noting that the size does need to be expanded for players.
So I expected much much much more from a game with Crunchyroll standing behind it. The first event was at launch, a crossover with Attack On Titan. And.. they have already had to nerf Eren as a character since he was nearly unbeatable. If you go to any PvP mode, and they are quests to WIN in these modes, you’ll see Eren EVERYWHERE. Teams with half or LESS than your power cannot be beat with him on it. Even a team with JUST him on it will beat any other. It’s actually insane. I thought I was doing something wrong and had to Google strategies for him.. there are none. He’s just broken. He’s got more HP and ATK alone than an entire team. When he hits you, he heals, when his turn is over, he heals. It’s NUTS! I have a starter mission that I LITERALLY can’t complete, because it has a 7 day limit and I cannot defeat through level 5 of the dungeon, and it requires through 8?? Real players defend the dungeon, and EVERY SINGLE one is Eren. Aside from him being broken, how boring is it to always fight the exact same teams?? There is no strategy there, just level that unit (that is now gone and no new people can get him) and win everything. I can’t even PURCHASE enough stamina or upgrades to beat this in the time allowed for a starter mission, which is absolutely baffling. I bought the cheap monthly gem card before I really got into the game, and I’m disgusted I did. They don’t even bother to fix grammar errors on the literal banners much less in the story. “The Firewor Event” makes me cringe every. Single. Time. Crunchyroll I am just.. blown away disappointed. I’ll never be able to finish the starter mission in time since I was a day too late to get Eren, and neither will people who start after me. Guess we just have to avoid half of the game. Woohoo.
