Love it 10 out if 10

Why I rate it five stars is because this game is so addicting and so fun and I just love how I serve food to the customers and people might say that the customers have a little wait time but if you have coins, just buy the speed and be out faster and your customers would be a lot happier and I love unlocking every new stuff every new restaurant and getting new skins this an amazing game and please keep it on the App Store. It will never ever get banned and I played literally every day so best in the whole entire world in my opinion, Thank you developers 🩵

Don’t waste money on this app

I love cooking fever so I was happy to see this new app. I figured it would be something like the duels in the old Restaurant Dash app but instead it’s just a cash grab. The app consistently matches you against people so far ahead of you in ranking points and upgrades that there’s no way to win without spending large amounts of money. No skill involved- if you pay big money to get your equipment fully upgraded, you win. There’s no guaranteed way to get boosts without buying bundles either. You might win one or two if you can manage to level up but that’s rare. Overall it’s just not much fun. EDIT: after the vague non response of the developers on my review, I started looking for other people’s opinions on the huge issues this game has and found out that it’s happening to almost everyone playing. Most people think the devs are using AI players to wipe you out with the hope that you’ll pay to upgrade everything and that honestly sounds plausible. I decided to give it one more try before deleting. Played three matches and somehow everyone I played against had an endless supply of cakes or hamburgers and hot dogs and could provide them instantly. No point continuing so I deleted. I’d suggest everyone else do the same until they decide to run a fair game.

Mixed Feelings

• As just a Review, you may not think is too important. Well my evidence is that I loved playing cooking fever when I was younger, recently I just got back to playing cooking fever again. Then I got introduced to this game, Cooking Duels • I love the ideas that it makes you become more competitive by making you go against other players. Although, I did encounter a few problems. • The touch precision is very off point, this game is all about rushing and the horrible touch precision is really affecting the gameplay. It’s very frustrating when you give the costumer the food and just the tiniest distance from the customer can prevent the meal from going to the customer, which gives the other team an advantage with giving them the food. • The opponent selecting and sorting is unreasonable. I am beginner and went against people with 200+ wins. The opponent selecting is crucial to the game. This needs to be fixed, I’m not enjoying the fact that I have to go against high win players when I can just go against someone my level, PLEASE fix this. • With both the horrible touch precision and going against the high wins players, I feel very stressed when I play the game. • I rate this game a 3/5, it needs some improvement, but I know you developers will exceed our expectations because you brought to this world the iconic game “cooking fever” 😊❤️ I look forward to the improvements😊

Customer wait time is so short

The customers do not wait even long enough to get prepared food from the table top to them. I thought if i made sure to upgrade enough items all the way so at least they get one item and increase their patience it could solve this, but it doesn’t. I have been playing the other nordcurrent games Cooking Fever and Airplane Chefs for about a year, so I appreciated the new challenge at first, but if it’s impossible to even have a chance, I feel i am wasting my time and money on this game. In addition, there isn’t anything you can even buy to increase patience. Also I completely daily challenges several times and never got my rewards. Disappointed. I love that there are several ways to get lots of rewards, but come on with the customer wait times nordcurrent. It’s not fun losing every game because you can’t even get the food off the table top before they cancel.

This game is good/okay

In the beginning of downloading this game, I was excited, because I thought you would get free gems in cooking fever, which luckily I did! However, when I try to message in global chat or in friendliest of social hub, it won’t let me type for some reason. I want to say hi, but it doesn’t let me. Also, whenever I play a match, it always pairs me up with someone WAY higher in rank than I am, which is unfair. Whenever I lose a match, I manage to lose roughly 30 points, even if the opponent is higher in rank, which is also very unfair. Please take these improvements to consideration, and make this game run smoothly. -NiaLenna 🥀

Okay, But Lost Its Use For me

This game is okay. I was pretty excited when it came out because it’s related to Cooking Fever. The game was very generous at the beginning and gave out lots of rewards, so I didn’t have much of a problem with that like other people. It’s clear that I won’t be able to progress very far without spending some money, though. I’m not super into competitive games, so the main reason I played it was to earn rewards for Cooking Fever. I was able to get a good number of diamonds for Cooking Fever just by playing Cooking Duels. Now that the launch is over, though, I can’t do that anymore. I don’t see myself playing it much in the future.

Fun game but

This is a fun little app but the daily tasks are on a 24 hour basis so when I work different shifts I get screwed out of being able to play. They should be on a set time so at midnight or 8pm or whatever time you pick they change. Similar to how the original Cooking Fever is now. That app also used to be on a 24 hour basis and I quit playing it for just that reason. Not only that but the goodies, tasks, and shop all end up having different times on them. I want to be able to go into the game and do everything, not do my tasks at 6am, get my goodies at noon, and then go into the store at 8pm. If you put Cooking Fever Duels tasks so they all reset on a single set time I will definitely change my rating. But to me this is a serious flaw that effects my enjoyment of the game.

It’s alright

Very cool game, but major thing that needs to be fixed! The touch response is awful. It wants you to be very exact and precise, yet in this one we need to move quick! I can’t count how many times I missed the party into the bun or dragged food to a customer and it wasn’t precise enough. It’s worse than the regular cooking fever. Fix it please. Also, add more opportunities for those boxes that contain coins and tokens! I feel like i’m always lacking coins and the pink tokens! Not as money hungry as cooking fever though which I appreciate. Matchmaking could use some work, i either get someone insanely better or someone way lower.
