Minor bug fixes, and performance improvements
Sushi Empire Tycoon is a delightful evolution of the idle management genre that perfectly captures the aesthetic and logistical flow of a high-end sushi restaurant. You start with a humble fish market and a single chef, and eventually, you're managing an industrial-scale operation with high-speed conveyer belts and celebrity customers. As an expert in idle tycoons, I found the progression to be expertly paced—there's always a new upgrade just within reach.
The visual style is charming and 'bubbly,' making it very inviting. What I particularly enjoyed was the 'supply chain' management aspect; you aren't just selling sushi, you have to manage your fishing fleet and ensure the ingredients are fresh. This added layer of strategy prevents the game from feeling like a mindless 'number-go-up' clicker. It’s a polished, cozy, and highly addictive title for fans of management sims who want a bit more flavor in their idle gameplay.
Deep restaurant and supply-chain management
Dozens of unique sushi recipes to unlock
Interactive 3D environment and animations
Offline earnings and idle progression
The biggest bottleneck is often the waiters, not the chefs. Upgrade your staff speed and capacity early to ensure that prepared dishes reach customers before they lose patience. A happy customer leaves a bigger tip, which is vital for early-game expansions.
Invest in your fishing fleet! Higher-tier boats can catch rarer fish, which allows your chefs to prepare premium sushi rolls that sell for significantly more than standard tuna or salmon.
Yes, your restaurant continues to operate and generate profit for a set period while you are offline, which you can collect upon your return.
Phone gets overheated after an hour of playing this game. Fun to make different types of sushi. I now have over $1 MILLION but am waiting for the bonus gems and purple tokens to expand my kitchen and make my tables larger. They fit six people when maxed out. Once you unlock a roll that uses shrimp, you cannot fish for shrimp unless you have 50 purple tokens, but you can build a water tank that is quickly emptied. The quick emptying of the water tank limits the amount of avocado you can harvest for the California roll.
Overall, I really love this game and have spent and ungodly amount of time playing, but there are a few issues. The first one, as many have mentioned, is that it is difficult to progress due to the extreme lack of the purple research points. In the beginning this isn’t a big deal, but now it’s honestly so annoying. Another issue is that the farmers are way too slow to keep up with demand. This game is great and I can’t wait to see future improvements :)
It would be nice if I didn’t get stuck because of the amount of Research Points I have. All I ask for me and future customers is to add in more ways to get research points or just up the frequency of when I can watch a add for Research Points. On a side note, I have only watched 3 total ads for Research Points (because that is seriously the amount I have been given to be able to watch) and I only got rewards from only 1 of those ads. So I’m in debt of like 35. Just pls add in more ways to get research points.
As always, I am enjoying this latest idle game. However, as a couple others have already pointed out, one big hiccup is the research points. While I understand their function, at a certain point in the game, it becomes difficult to progress. I've been at the same spot for two or three days now, all simply because I lack the research points to upgrade what I need to. I would be more than willing to watch some ads, but that's not even an option. If this is fixed, I'd be more than happy to give this four or five stars. Thanks!
Make a game called idle America empire where there’s these types of houses: small home (p1)average house (p4) large house (p8) small mansion (p10) average mansion (p14) large mansion (p20) small apartment (p100) average apartment (p140) large apartment (p400) the p is for population and maybe get some stores add how people think about your city and have restaurants, small job buildings, big ones and of course have different cities and add Mexico Japan Korea china and lots others!
I liked the art style and the concept of growing a sushi restaurant. In practice, I found the game painfully slow to progress. It would be better if you could upgrade faster and move through the levels. Without paying for anything, you quickly hit long roadblocks to progress to the next level. Also, it auto-plays ads when I interact with free portions of the game. I hate that. I’m okay with watching an ad for a temporary boost. I shouldn’t be forced to watch ads to engage with basic parts of the game, like collecting tips or upgrading the level of a table.
This game is great! But the only issue I’m having is that, when you need the purple tokens to unlock and upgrade things it’s hard to get them without buying them. And when you get the gems, it’s not a lot. We need more ways to getting gems and tokens without getting stuck at the soy sauce and the upgrades
Even after paying for no ads. It is almost impossible to play the game after the first 8-10 hours. You need to purchase blue gems or you have no chance of completing your research or additional areas in the game. CodiGames needs to stop stealing peoples time by making them pay money to have fun. I normally will pay $15-$20 if a game is worth it. But you will have to pay much much more to finish this one. VERY SAD!
