Police Department Tycoon hits that sweet spot of 'management itch' that keeps you coming back for 'just five more minutes.' As a veteran of tycoon games, I was impressed by the balance between micro-managing individual officers and the macro-development of the station. Seeing your small precinct grow from a single desk to a high-tech crime-fighting hub is incredibly satisfying.

The progression loop is well-tuned. You upgrade dispatch, build holding cells, and improve the forensics lab, with each upgrade providing a tangible boost to how quickly you can process cases. While the game does feature the typical 'wait-or-pay' mechanics common to the genre, the frequent milestones and mission rewards keep the momentum going even for free-to-play users. It’s a polished, engaging simulator that makes administrative work surprisingly fun.

I love this game, its fun and enjoyable with a variety of different characters to collect and play as. Events are fun to even if they are not many. For future updates, I would like to see more playable characters added to the game and upgraded tiers so there is a common, rate, epic, legendary and even mythical rarity for character cards. Also, i would like to see more locations to build police stations at since once you develop them all you have nothing left to do. Maybe add more events too with better rewards in the near future and give the option to rename your police stations for a more custom feel. Other than that, i really enjoy the game.

Solid idle game

I’ve played many of the idle style games where you build up businesses and such. A lot of them have a terrible pay wall or adds that okay randomly in their own. Which can ruin the experience. But this game is fun, there’s the prison to build and the police station. It doesn’t make you feel like you have to pay to win. I would recommend this game!

Fun game but has bugs

I like the game but it has bugs. For example, the research improvements, I started the first one for the kitchen and the 10 minutes has well passed but it’s stalled out. I can’t start it again and it won’t complete. I tried using diamonds to “skip” the time and watching an add to achieve the same result but since the timer bar is blank, nothing happens. Yeaterday I was making $4k/30s and now it’s only giving me $1.66k/30sec. The dogs are also having issues. I need to level up their experience in order to continue doing the harder missions, which give experience points, but I can only do the easy mission which gives no experience points. My dogs are maxed out on health/food and happiness for their level but I’m stuck. Developers, please address the bugs.

Unable to gain rewards from special event

I have noticed recently in the special events that when I step away from the game, and come back, a short time later, that buildings will have been built/upgraded on their own, which you wouldn’t think would be a problem, but it prevents me from getting the rewards for the upgrades. A few minutes ago, a new special event started, and when I went to build something new, the game froze, and when I relaunched it and went back into the special event, all buildings were built and maxed out, and I’m not getting the rewards for building those things. This event is a complete waste of time if I’m being cheated out of getting any rewards due to a glitch in the system.

This game is glitchy. You hit the discord button or the write us button and it kicks you out of the game. I’m confused on some aspects of the game mainly the events. It gives you tasks but when you click on them it doesn’t show you what to do or how to do them. I have just stopped playing the events. The game in regular mode is fine. I just watch ads and upgrade stuff cuz there is no way unless you wait forever to upgrade stuff with the money you earn. If you wants something to pass the time for a few days this is a good way to do it. I am going to give it another couple of days if it’s more of the same I will delete and find something else.

Fun but there's bugs

This game is a lot of fun and I enjoy playing it, but there's a few bugs. I have multiple improvements that I've done and the timer shows zero but it won't complete them. Also the coming soon for a few different things is taking the fun out of if for me. I also hate with the pets how I keep getting the same l same rubber ducks. I have 50 rubber ducks. I wish there was a may to merge them and level them up. It's impossible to keep my pets happiness up when the hard mission is coming soon and the normal mission keeps giving me rubber ducks.

WOW!!!! What’s not to love??!! This game keeps you busy from the start, gets you arresting perps and sending them through registration then off to jail then off to prison, no step left untaken. The police officer pops up every time something new needs to happen other than that you run the show!! Arresting!! Booking!! Locking up!! That’s the way to make cold hard cash!!!

Xp rate way too slow

Solid game as far as tycoon games go. Nothing terribly original. My biggest problem is that xp is required to level up in order to build new rooms. Xp is only gained while online and it’s really slow. I have to gain 9 levels to build the room required for my quests and it looks like I’d have to leave the app open and running for a week to get there. After that there is another room that will require another 20 levels. It’s game breaking. If this gets fixed it’d be a very solid game.
