Block Blast!+ takes a very familiar puzzle formula and refines it with an incredibly satisfying layer of polish. Placing blocks onto the 8x8 grid feels tactile, and the visual feedback when you trigger a massive multi-line combo is undeniably dopamine-inducing. Because this is the '+' version on Apple Arcade, the complete lack of interstitial ads elevates the experience significantly above its free-to-play competitors.
The addition of the Adventure Mode and Daily Puzzles gives players a reason to log in beyond just chasing a high score. While it doesn't reinvent the wheel of grid-based block games, it executes the concept flawlessly. Amazing! (+update ideas)
Mon Sep 07 2026 ander-dingussI’ve loved Block Black for probably a year and now that there is an Apple Arcade version, I can finally play ad-free! My only complaint is that there are no themes. You should add a toggle to turn on and off the regular themes that change as you play and add back the button in the regular Block Blast that lets you add a custom theme from an image. You should also add back the “other games” option on the home screen that let you play other games. If you read this, please add these as it would make everyone happy. Otherwise, love the game!
Disappointing
Wed Sep 16 2026 illreviewthatWas really excited for this game but it falls flat in many ways, especially adventure mode. I prefer adventure mode over endless but it seems pointless? Like there’s no trophy section to show past adventures you’ve completed or any kind of reward for completing. On top of that, there are many levels that are clearly meant to be a grind in the version with ads because they’re nearly impossible to complete and feel intentionally so. I shouldn’t have to play hundreds of times on one level to just progress, especially since there’s no items or anything to help you if you get stuck. You can even tell when you’re about to lose a level because the blocks they give you are impossible to place aside from one. Also, I feel many levels where you have to collect gems just take too long. It’s exhausting playing so long (usually to failure) when you’re only collection one gem per cleared line and you need to collect 60+ per color to complete the level. Please add an undo button or at least lessen the difficulty of adventure mode because that’s ridiculous, especially if you don’t have time to waste grinding out a level for an image you’ll never see again.
Fun but limits winning
Tue Sep 15 2026 thisissuzyThis is a fun and easy game, but you can't just binge and play through adventure mode. Every so often, it repeatedly forces pieces that never fit to make the level unwinnable. I played level 47 over 100 times yesterday, and was always forced to lose. Update: I’m now stuck on level 83. It’s been 2 days of playing for hours a day. On the same exact level. The pieces you get rarely vary. Yeah, I know, I have no life other than iPad games lol. I’m getting really tired of actually memorizing the level up to about 1700 points and that is where it gives you pieces that will never fit. Dozens and dozens of times I’ve made it to around 1700 points, and then the level fails. It makes no sense that they make the game unwinnable like this, adventure mode you only get an image of a trophy on your account and it’s Apple Arcade so it’s not like they get any ad revenue from you playing this game and forcing you to look at an ad to progress. It’s like the devs just decided to make an unwinnable level so that you would feel like you’re awful for not being able to win.
Great Game but too Easy!

However it seems much easier than the original, I’ve been able to get my score seven times higher than I used to. I still love block blast and I’ll play it but id also love it to be a similar hard difficulty that the original is. Thanks devs overall though you have left quite the incredible legacy.
Fun Game!
Sat Sep 05 2026 RJWolfeBlock Blast so far has been a lot of fun. It hits the same kind of dopamine hits from Tetris and organizing games, and without ads and such it’s really approachable. The only problem I have with it is that I’d love to play with sound on for the chill piano music and the casino style sound effects, but there’s a voice. A voice that only says “Amazing!” and “Good!” and you’ll hear it over and over and over again. I’d love to be able to turn the voice off, but it’s not an option so instead I have to play with the sound off entirely. :(

We have to just standard block blast backgrounds that would be so amazing but other than that this game is the best and I like I just love it so much.

Highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a really easy and straightforward game to pass time with. I even got an achievement for being on the game for 1 hour 💀 Only 4 stars instead of 5 because I think additions can be made to the game to make it better. 1) an undo button. Sometimes I let go of the block at the wrong time by accident. 2) block color options 🤗

Fri Sep 18 2026 Hi👌😚😉Games fun it’s just I don’t like it that much I love her, but they need to fix something. You need to try the one with ads cause it has better stuff in it. I love this version too cause I have no ads. Does the one doesn’t PopPop ads as much but you have to watch an ad to redo it. I love it. Please put this on your list of most helpful reviews. I love your guises games.
