Devs if you’re still out there developing this app the most important critique I have to bring to the table is that I would love for chords to be there own color. Notes are blue, holds are pink, I understand that chords are comprised of notes but it would make it much easier the sight read the difference between chords and two quick consecutive half notes. Yellow would go well with the other colors as well as stand out a lot There is one little teeny thing other thing too tho I would really appreciate at least having the option to turn on to have the notes make some kind of sounds indicating how well you hit it… I get that this game is rather old and I see complaints about the disappointment in the audio chart sync. I’m assuming the lack of note timing accuracy (I can miss entire notes and still have a perfect combo) is probably due to this and it doesn’t seem like a problem that’s going to be solved. I personally don’t mind it though because as long as I’m having a fun way to pass the time playing any of my favorite songs in a j rhythm game style that’s really all that matters. I believe if you guys added these to the game it would significantly passively improve note accuracy and score, for me in my opinion at least. Love the app I’d love to see some improvements and maybe a one time $10 purchase for unlimited songs and no ads instead of a sub model I would absolutely invest in this project if you guys offered that
Yes, the generator has trouble sometimes generating songs, yes people who play those rhythm games filled with anime characters will be disappointed by the quality of this, but it still plays EXTREMELY well, for a game that can AUTO GENERATE a song out of LITERALLY ANYTHING. I don’t care about there not being anime characters literally everywhere, I don’t care it has trouble with fast songs, I don’t care about the mediocre graphics and I don’t care about the ads or micro transactions. You can generate a PLAYABLE SONG (that’s pretty fun as long as it’s not something super fast) from ANYTHING. like a boss theme? PLAY IT. Wanna try a chill beat to study to. Play it. Want to play someone who owns a mansion’s vlog about a giant ball pit? Odd choice but go ahead and play it. There aren’t many games out there that will provide as many hours of entertainment as this, and I really hope this concept takes off, the AI can get better, and maybe this can turn into a triple A game. I love it so much, and you should too.
i do really like this game but there are a few things i would change if i could. one being making it so that players could do unlimited songs. i understand that the creators need to make money, but i think if you just put more advertisements on the app and let players have unlimited songs it would be better. another thing, that is pretty minor, but it's just that sometimes the music doesn't quite match up to the game but i understand it is AI generated so there's not much you can do with that but other than that everything with this app is amazing especially how you get to choose whatever song you want to play because some other rythym apps only let you play the newest trash pop songs..
If you are an avid rhythm game player and came to this app expecting to play any song you want with the same quality as a Japanese made rhythm game, don’t bother downloading it. When I first played a song on this game I cranked it up to max difficulty right off the bat. Then, when I finally started playing the song, the notes that were appearing on the screen had literally no synchronization with the song. It’s like they got a 3 year old to tap notes on a screen then they just put a random song behind those recorded notes of the 3 year old. Every song I played were just terrible. With rhythm games, I want to be able to hear the song, get in synch with the song, get in a type of groove, and have my fingers on the same page as the song. I can’t do that with this game because it’s literally just a bunch of random notes slapped on a screen with a song behind it. Even when there was a pause in the song and there was no audio playing, like 20 notes came down the screen. I guess it’ll be a decent game for people who’ve been searching for the next tap tap revolution game but if you’re actually a rhythm game player, stay away from this app or you will be disappointed.
It’s a great game. I got it not that long ago but I’ve already played it nonstop since. I love that you can go through and look up what YOU want to play. Not a whole lot of games offer that and I’ve been looking for one that offers the kind of music I personally listen to (alternative rock and metal). So the option to look a song up by name is really cool. The rendering machine for the game isn’t the best but it works pretty well when it comes to slower songs. Such as Radiohead’s Creep. Or Snuff by Slipknot. If you catch my drift. Ive also played a few Billie Eilish songs and it works with moderate speed fairly well too if that helps any. It’s worth looking at and playing for yourself. And so far I’ve enjoyed it. One of the only downsides from what I’ve seen is it’s a battery killer. Now my phone was also at like 30% when I started playing but it went down faster than usual when the app was open; but other than that it’s great!
I LOVE the fact that I can finally play my favorite songs in a beat based music game. The beats generated are pretty accurate for the most part and the scalable level system is so great. I’ve been a fan of Cytus and the other Rayark beat games for a long time and just being able to choose the music you want to play to makes it worth so much more. So worth it that I can almost forgive it for crashing every time I play. Almost. I’m not sure what it is that’s causing it as it happens at random times but it will crash at least once every time I play. While other people want more discs to be able to play longer at once, I actually like having only five as it helps me keep on track and not playing on my phone when I should be doing other things. All in all, a solid attempt that I will continue to play. But the crashing is aggravating. If it gets any worse I don’t know if I’ll continue to play.
I just started playing and the first two songs I’ve played so far have been so incredibly cool! I’m an avid rhythm game player and can play master mode on most rhythm games (Beat Saber, Muse Dash, WaiWai Party, etc…) and though this isn’t as good as those, it’s just as fun if not more fun! The generated songs are surprisingly well generated and I love the slide notes- they remind me of Arcaea. Already love it! Edit: The song “The Osu! Collab (Hosted by TArrow)” is probably the best song for this app as the beats are made clear. Most rhythm game songs like Galaxy Collapse or The Big Black don’t run well because the system can’t pick out clear beats because of the sheer amount of them. Try it out if you want a challenge :)
I’ve played tons of rythym games, this is by far one of the best. The auto generated songs don’t always match up well, but being able to play literally anything I want is just great. My only complaint is that the difficulty is capped at 9.9, I can still complete it with full combo S rank. It’s not easy, but it’s not a ridiculous challenge (this shouldn’t be a bad thing for most people, I’ve played these types of games for at least 5 years). It doesn’t bombard you with too many ads, and the 1$ to remove the mandatory ones is 100% worth it. Words cannot describe how long I’ve been looking for a playable, let along good, 4 lane rythym game on iOS.
