Store updates, bug fixes.
World of Goo 2 is a masterpiece of physics-based puzzle design that manages to live up to the impossible expectations set by its predecessor. The introduction of actual liquid physics is a game-changer; watching goo flow through pipes and interact with the environment is mesmerizing. It’s not just about building bridges anymore—you're dealing with pressure, suction, and explosive reactions that feel tactile and dangerously unpredictable.
The art style remains as weirdly beautiful and haunting as ever, and the soundtrack is absolutely top-tier. What’s most impressive is how the game constantly introduces new mechanics without ever feeling overwhelming. Every world feels like a new game. It’s rare to find a sequel that respects the original while pushing the boundaries so aggressively. This is an essential experience for anyone who calls themselves a fan of indie games.
Revolutionary new liquid physics and interaction
Dozens of new Goo Ball species with unique traits
Stunningly hand-drawn art and orchestral soundtrack
Epic story mode spanning multiple diverse chapters
New liquid goo can flow through pipes and fill containers. Use these to activate switches or provide weight to balance your tall structures.
Learn your species! Some Goo Balls can be detached and reused, while others are explosive or can bridge massive gaps with sticky webs.
Drag and drop Goo Balls to form a network. The physics engine calculates weight and tension in real-time, so watch out for sagging structures!
The world is your obstacle. Use Goo to block fire, redirect water, or build over shifting gears in massive, moving machines.
Yes, you can build the tallest towers possible in the 'World of Goo Corporation' sandbox mode.
Is this really how it is supposed to be sound ? The music goes in and out and pops... I can't find a way to turn it off....I don't like to play games muted so yikes please fix this. I love the first game and will play this once it's fixed or can be disabled. It hurts my ears and makes me sick to my stomach.
Hello Tomorrow Corporation, The very first game I fell in love with was world of goo. My dad is a big gamer and before I could play big girl games world of goo was one he let me play. And I was absolutely captivated! The story, the mechanics, the SOUNDTRACK. I cannot count how many times I’ve had a therapeutic cry sesh to are you coming home? Love, Mom. Things are different now- as soon as world of goo 2 was released I was the one to tell my dad about it! I bought a Nintendo switch to play world of goo 2 because it was the first available version, and my first gameplays were heaven. Your sequel is a masterpiece. I really like the challenges, chapter 4 obviously, of course the soundtrack & sound fx since I played human resources and 7 billion humans, cutscenes also of course. I was a fool and bought the Nintendo switch lite which has quite a tiny little gaming screen and cannot connect to the tv without doing stuff I am not good at, so I was really hoping some way to play it on a bigger screen without buying a new switch because like for many change is tight for me at the moment. And here it is! I am so thankful. I’ll be chasing the challenges till your next release. Thank you. Love, Ava
My experience with the first WoG changed my relationship with gaming. I saw the brilliant heights that are possible when true artists use this digital medium using free, unrestrained creativity and lodes of digital savvy. WoG was something very special, and experiences like that are almost always disappointing when you try to relive them. Well I’m playing WoG 2 now and my delighted giggling was not expected. Yes, I was thrilled to see the new release and bought it immediately, but I didn’t dare get my hopes up too high. I’m overjoyed to report that this sequel has all the magic of the original. I won’t spoil the fun by dissecting the game and all of its joyous content. I will simply suggest that you get this game now, play it on the largest screen you have available, and experience it for yourself. This is as good as gaming gets.
World of Goo 2 is the same type of awesome as the it’s predecessor. However, my only issue is that if I try to switch to play on my IPad(which is preferred because screen size) it does not sync with the save on my iPhone. Please fix so I can play on the go too! Thanks!
This game is incredible. 1000% don’t listen to people saying it’s “too hard” (lol). Yeah it takes some thought and strategy. You have to use your brain a little (WOW). Absolutely amazing game and highly polished. Well done devs! Thanks for an awesome game!
Worth playing over and over. I wish there were 1000 levels. So silly and fun. And challenging. You might wake up in the middle of the night with an insight or new plan.
My dad got me the game when I was young for Christmas and I loved it! I was anticipating a sequel for a long time. Thank you for putting it on IOS!
Played a lot of the original game and enjoying this one. However I like to listen to my own music or audio books while playing and you cannot turn off the sounds music. This is a five star game otherwise.
