THE BEST GAME EVER

Don’t listen to those people were and still are very start of word people make mistakes so you should definitely buy this game it challenges your brain it’s pretty easy to play and it’s really easy to learn and it’s definitely deserves I did a five star so I think that this game a challenge your brain because well it’s fun easy challenging but I have a bit of suggestions but like they’re OKNumber one no ads if we didn’t have any ads it would be good Number two no sound if there is no sound I could listen to the music that I want to play Last but not least number three there are some words that are really challenging to get that most people don’t know I think they should stick to more easier words

Good game, but no option to pay?

I’ve only played it for a few minutes but so far it’s good. The ads are super short(though way too loud) and they run them in between puzzles unlike other similar games where they play long ads right in the middle of a puzzle. (Also I don’t know why they advertise Wordle since I assume it’s a competitor, but whatever lol.) There is a small banner ad at the bottom of the screen that is always there, which I’m sure I’ll be able to ignore eventually, but it does make the otherwise clean interface a bit cluttered and distracting. The only only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that there doesn’t seem to be an option to buy the game and remove the ads? Please tell me if I’m missing something devs, because I’d happily pay a few bucks to be able to remove the ads completely. But besides that, so far it’s the best version of this game that I’ve found in the App Store.

it gives you what it offers but it’s not special

The game like it’s advertised has word games, including wordle, word connect, and word connect but in crossword mode. all of the games work perfectly fine and do what they are advertised to provide. But when it comes to in game deco and the animation it’s all basically non existent. there is hardly any aesthetics to the game making it hard to make this game my daily comfort zone. also many wordle games and word connects have small animations that are visually entertaining, this game has none of that and simply reveals words and letters by popping them on to the screen, which in my opinion makes the reveal lose its wow factor. Some people don’t like aesthetics and animation in a game which I fully understand, but I just feel that if you want a game that has decorations and animations then this isn’t the type of game for you.

Too annoyed to continue

I really like this game. However, I have an issue with it. I started with this installed on my phone. I played until I got to around level 1000 when it got to be truly challenging and it froze. It would not unfreeze. Finally, I deleted and reopened it. It made me begin at level 1 again. That was very annoying. I worked my way back up to level 1000 again and it froze again. I had to delete and reopen once more. I was once again at level 1. I decided to try it on my IPad. I have had the same issue 3 times on my IPad. I would like to play the challenging levels, but this game will not allow me to play them. I am sorry, but I am not going to reopen this game.

Love the game, Hate the stupid ads

As this is an Apple word game and we pay for iCloud, I would recommend that games, such as this one which is a “ no brainer” for the mental exercise of seniors, (keeping us sharp into our dotage and paying, involved citizens) would be enough to not burden us with longer and longer clownish advertisements. These idiot ads just put us to sleep! We can tolerate one or even two…but at the rate set by the young techies, you will lose many of us in the WWII generation called “the Boomers”… The clock will eventually run out on us all, and then those young techies will see the light…too late for “moi”!

Great and OK

This game is great it’s really good for your brain. I’ve tried other games like when you have a house in a try to unlock furniture to make it really nice but those games are really not fun all the ones were you trying to solve puzzle it was gonna be frustrating. But this one is not like The other games. but sometimes this can be frustrating can be hard. but it’s entertaining very entertaining. if you like challenging words this is good for you. once you get farther in levels. there’s word find you’ve tried to find the word and there’s connect the words making out with the letters make the words that’s so fun. this is really fun with friends we are trying to find a word I just love love love this game. I think you should all try it.

Using actual words would help.

The very first word I was supposed to guess—and failed—was VERRY. Yes, two Rs. That’s not even a word. I like to think I’m pretty good with words and was immediately annoyed because I was pretty sure that was not one, but I tried looking it up because I was like, hey, I could be wrong, maybe it is a word I’ve just never come across. But alas, it wasn’t in my dictionary app OR physical dictionary, even as an alternate spelling, and when I googled it, ONE dictionary website acknowledged it as an “obsolete spelling of ‘very’.” And this app is so basic there’s not even like a help or ‘contact us’ I could be submitting this to instead. So… yeah. If they aren’t going to use legitimate or commonly known words, there are plenty of other apps like this game out there I’ll be using instead. Wordus has been pretty good so far, and I like the placement of the enter/submit button better. TLDR; this app is in need of spellcheck.

Invalid words ruin okay game

Overall the app is fine. It runs well, has good responsive UI, and makes sense. There's some weirdness like using a full screen iOS alert when you submit an invalid word rather than making a more aesthetically fitting custom alert. The ads can be perfectly circumvented through disabling WiFi for the app. But other reviews mentioned bad words and my 3rd word was impossible. PU--S and so many letters excluded that online tools said there was no solution. I couldn't even ask for a hint or anything, so I just had to leave and start a new puzzle. You should be able to get hints, so you can learn words you don't know.

Playing Wordle on your phone? If you downloaded it from Apple's App Store or Google Play, it's not the same addictive game that celebrities...
