WitchSpring2 is a rare gem in the mobile RPG landscape, offering a complete, premium experience without the predatory microtransactions that plague the genre. This sequel improves upon the original in every conceivable way, providing a deeply emotional narrative following Luna, the Moonlight Witch. The game balances 'pet' raising mechanics with traditional turn-based combat and crafting, creating a gameplay loop that feels both cozy and adventurous.
The progression system is incredibly satisfying. Watching Luna grow from a weak, hiding witch into a powerful force is earned through training and exploration. The art style is charmingly vibrant, and the world feels alive with secrets. As a standalone story, you don't necessarily need to have played the first game, but fans will appreciate the overlapping lore. It's a masterclass in how to do a mobile JRPG right—focused on story, character development, and player agency.
Full premium RPG experience (no IAPs)
Over 20 hours of story-driven gameplay
Multiple endings based on player choices
Deep crafting and spell-combining system
Beautiful anime-inspired 3D graphics
Luna's home is her sanctuary. Use the training menu to increase her Strength, Mana, and Agility. Use the magic pot to combine materials found in the wild to create new spells and healing items.
Venture out into the world to find rare ingredients and powerful pets. Combat is turn-based; choose between physical attacks, spells, or using items. Pay attention to elemental weaknesses to defeat tougher bosses.
Across the map, you can find creatures to tame. Once befriended, these pets provide passive buffs or active assistance in battle, and some can even be used as mounts to traverse the world faster.
Customize Luna’s growth. Want a warrior witch? Focus on swimming and push-ups. Want a glass-cannon mage? Spend your time meditating and studying spells.
Interact with various NPCs. Your choices and the order in which you complete tasks can lead to different interactions and story nuances.
No, WitchSpring2 takes place alongside the first game's timeline but focuses on a different protagonist, Luna, making it a perfect entry point.
Yes, once installed, the game can be played entirely offline without any internet connection.
So I'm one of "those people" who never review any games. But I loved this game so much, something needs to be said! The graphics are on point amazing. Extremely rare typos in the dialogue, maybe a misplaced letter once or twice every chapter. The art is fantastic! The controls stick a bit in corners but easy to overcome & forgotten quickly. Was upset when the story starts coming to an end, so already excited for the developers new sequel... :D If you like games like harvest moon, especially cutesy graphics like HV, this would be for you.
Thank you developers for providing a stress free game. The story was entertaining. The progress/grind was balanced well. And the app performed as well as my money spent upon purchasing the title. In other words thank you for keeping your word unlike other developers who expect payment but produce junk that doesn’t work. I look forward to purchasing other material from your studio.
This is one of the best games I have ever played! I first played it around a year ago and I always find myself re-downloading it to play again! The graphics are some of the best I've ever seen, and the storyline is so cute and detailed! I also adore the music, it's really nice and calming. Overall, 10/10! It's definitely worth the money!
I’m kind of disappointed because I was expecting a 100 day limit like the first one, but then I just started playing and realized there isn’t much of a limit. I’m not saying the game isn’t good, but I was really hoping for something like the first one where you would have a sense of urgency since there was a time limit. Honestly the game is pretty good, but I’m comparing it to the first one which I really liked.
Combat is pretty simple. You can grind too easily and over level yourself without realizing it, so be careful and keep things challenging for yourself. That said, the characters, art, and music are surprisingly charming and likable. Very cute with some clever ideas. It’s definitely more than the sum of its parts. Not a bad 10-12 hour RPG!
I finished this game with the best ending possible and was almost brought to tears. I love the story and friends you make along the way. This is definitely a game I would love to see get promoted and I can't wait to see more of these stories in the future!
Need more games like this. Reminds me of old school rpg on Nintendo. I seldom ever pay for mobile games and I didn't mind paying $3.99 for this game at all. Play it through and even all the post game side quests :) - PanchiraSama
But I have to say that, wp2 is the best until now even with the wp3. Wp2 has more complex going and the experience is wonderful. Wp3 has better cg and unique character design. However, compare to wp2, wp3 is kind of incomplete.
